3 points that's all that mattered today after another poor performance, we need a massive overhaul in the summer with many players who can leave along with the manager, we will get 4th and the fans will be in heaven unlike the raver. Mind you I'm in heaven tonight flying like a plane with plenty of booze and birds to cheer this poor spurs fan up 😎.

the raver

1.) 05 Oct 2019 23:25:29
No what you need is rid of levy all the players wanted out because of the ridiculously low wages and not spending any money on players. He is the reasons the players are in unrest.

Poch May well get sacked and he has the players who can’t be arsed because they want out and levy to blame.

2.) 08 Oct 2019 17:31:12
Most of these players are on a lot more money than their previous clubs.

18 Sep 2019 21:32:54
Pathetic but dosent surprise me anymore with pochetinho, 2 nil up against Arsenal and drew, and the same tonight against a pathetic Creek side. I think he should leave as he never wins the important matches year in year out, he's a decent manager nothing else and its about time fans woke up and realised, I'm off to get smashed on Heineken and Amsterdam reefers to brighten up the raver night.

the raver

1.) 20 Sep 2019 10:05:57
The new arsene wenger.

2.) 20 Sep 2019 15:48:53
Arsene Wenger went downhill after winning trophies.

3.) 21 Sep 2019 14:49:22
Why do you constantly go on oddbod you post more on here than any spurs fan and hardly post anything on arsenal page
I think your a closet spurs fan you just don't want daddy to find out.

29 Jul 2019 08:18:32
Only 2 weeks to go till kick off and I think we are dragging our feet yet again under levy, I feel we need another 3 world class players for us to take the next step otherwise it will be another 4th place scrap for us again.

the raver

1.) 29 Jul 2019 11:00:38
agree raver, can't understand why we take so long to get transfers done, its doing my head in.

2.) 29 Jul 2019 18:37:09
Raver, how can you say you will scrap for 4th place again because you are dragging your feet in the transfer market? when you brought Ndombele you were saying "we will be challenging again mark my word" 😂🤣😂.

3.) 29 Jul 2019 20:18:24
I am sick to death of us leaving transfers until the 11th hour and then missing out. It stinks of Levy penny pinching again, even if we get Lo Celso he won't be ready for the 1st few games as he will need time to settle in.
Currently from our tiny squad from last year we have got rid of many more than we have added and the contract situation of the ones we have are nearly terminal in some cases, why leave it to drag so long. If they are showing no signs of extending contracts just move them on for the best price you can actually get and stop pissing about for the sake of a few mil and get the players you actually know are available and you want, is it really that complicated?
Im guessing Levy is now planning on signing Sessegnon in jan on a tribunal to save another few mil, risky business!

{Ed002's Note - Embarrassing.}

4.) 29 Jul 2019 20:41:20
Wodbod you should know me by now mate, the raver is more up and down than a 13th floor elevator.

5.) 29 Jul 2019 21:28:18
Mwheels, that sort of post really pisses me off. It's incredibly hard to do transfers. It's much more complex than you think.

There are lots of factors. Just because you see another club sign someone you have no idea how long it took, if they got turned down by other players before they got the player that signed etc etc. You talk about millions of pounds like its nothing lmao.

Levy will wait until he drives down Betis and Fulham for Lo Celso and Sessegnon, that's how it works.

Look at Utd with Maguire. Yes it's frustrating to wait but Levy is looking after our club. Yes Levy has made some mistakes but in the most he has been superb for our club.

6.) 29 Jul 2019 22:21:35
Yes I get all that Guvnor, but why do we always continue to turn the screw for so long? I am glad we have a solid base and are a properly run club, for which Levy is to be congratulated, but haggling over a couple of mil until the 11th hour when you are talking about a 50 mil plus player makes me think he isn't that interested in the player and will end up with the usual club statement come the 9th, we tried our best but it wasnt possible etc.
On the other hand if we do get it over the line it will have been so dragged out that he probably won't be ready for selection until september. I just would have loved a year where we buy whoever our genuine realistic targets are early in the window so they can prepare and be ready for gameweek one, not gameweek 4. Perhaps I live in a fantasy world!

7.) 29 Jul 2019 22:52:07
Since when have we ever released a statement saying we tried? I've said it on here countless times, we have no idea exactly what goes on in the background. We don't know every player we have tried for or what's happened. Yes I get some info but in the most we are all in the dark over 99 percent of what goes on. We ain't the only club trying to get players, like I said look at Utd with Maguire. Your comment about the millions is ridiculous.

8.) 01 Aug 2019 13:07:39
Its such an embarrassment - levy out

By now we should have paid at least double the players value and at least 3 times the going rate of wages (ensuring it is more than what we pay kane) . Just to ensure they are ready for villa

or is that sarcasm talking.

12 Jul 2019 21:31:19
Terrible news that spurs are parting company with one of the best defenders in the league in Toby alderwereld, yes his contract rubs out next season but would have rather kept him for another year and take the 25 million hit as he is so good,

the raver

1.) 12 Jul 2019 23:16:38
Seems we’re potentially going through a cycle of giving up/ selling a lot of experience and acquiring some highly touted younger players, I can’t help but recall the quote I believe by Mourinho “You can’t win anything with kids” or words to that effect.

2.) 13 Jul 2019 13:00:11
Alan Hansen’s comments they were Yellow

I feel we’re being a little slow, however the only thing is that there hasn’t actually been many signings to date.

That what I’m telling myself anyway

I agree raver I’d keep Toby all day long, I’m surprised clubs aren’t queuing up if I’m honest. Strange one for me that.

{Ed002's Note - Like the Simpons.}

3.) 15 Jul 2019 21:19:25
we should be doing everything we can to keep toby at spurs, one of the best centre backs in the world, the story linking him to roma is very hard to belive as they have a lower pay structure than we do and are a much lesser team than us. we seem to be taking an age again to get things done, the danni cabellos deal is a no brainer even if we use ericksen as part of the deal. we should be moving players like lemela, wanyama, tripper, lorente on asap to make room for new players. coys get things done.

4.) 15 Jul 2019 22:02:48
The Roma offer to Toby is apparently for slightly less money but for 4 years, taking him to 34. I can’t see us offering a contract for that long, which is why I also can’t see us going for Alves.

Not sure Ceballos wants to leave RM or that Perez is willing to sanction the sale, I’d bet Levy wants to offload Eriksen in any deal with RM, but Zidane apparently doesn’t want Eriksen.

My biggest fear is both Toby and Eriksen walk away for free next summer or they get heavily discounted in January.

5.) 16 Jul 2019 10:46:07
Couldn't agree more Stevie. I have a different perspective about our team when he's out there. don't care if he's still with us at 34. Great players age differently. SIGN HIM UP.

04 Jun 2019 13:11:31
So our first signings this season will be seagsson and Clarke 2 championship players who will not take us to the next level, I give up with the dross signings or non signings every summer, I might ask a few boys down the dog and gun do they fancy a trial for spurs as I know levy will be interested as they will come cheap, a few crates of lager and fags and they are yours.

the raver

1.) 04 Jun 2019 19:54:59
If that’s going to be it, which I doubt, Poch and half the team will be gone before September and leave Levy to tidy up his mess. Be the best facilities in the Championship in 20/ 21.

2.) 04 Jun 2019 21:40:25
Raver, you seem to be a glass istotally empty type of guy!

3.) 05 Jun 2019 11:16:12
I'm a Jekyll and Hyde type of character mate, when spurs are playing and letting me down I'm a manic depressive, when I'm in stringfellows off my nut with birds chasing me I'm happy as Larry😁.

4.) 05 Jun 2019 12:15:11
You must spend a lot of time depressed ;)

5.) 05 Jun 2019 13:19:25
Lol true yellow card, this is my happy period summer months with no spurs matches till August😎.

6.) 05 Jun 2019 19:08:36
Just our transfer non-activity to get depressed about. Hopefully Levy feels he has made you suffer enough raver, and can find the bottom of his pockets for a few quality additions.

05 Oct 2019 17:04:57
Now's the time to fire pochetinho, had enough of this crap and we are going backwards under the serial bottler, jose mourinho would toughen up this soft lot and make us hard to beat, if we stick with the fake argentinan we are in for a mid table finish with no trophies in sight as usual, the only brightside for the raver is that is Saturday night when I put my body and mind on another planet in seedy west London to forget that awful football club I support.

the raver

1.) 05 Oct 2019 18:03:37
Our defense is dramatically short of pace . we always looked suspect but now we are there to be taken, doesn’t matter who we play Bayern or Brighton.

With slow back line and defensive/ holding midfielders not much better we are completely exposed.

Sissoko is not a RB - not surprisingly all 3 goals came from his side.

Eriksen has quit and should be sent out to train on his own, never to be seen in our shirt again. Ndombele should be played in central advanced midfield where he looks dangerous, with his current fitness level he is not a box to box player.

Confidence in the entire team is now so low it’s going to take a bit of luck and some good bounces of the ball to get things turned around.

If I were Jose I’m not sure I’d want the job if it were even to be offered to him. It’s not like Levy is going to give him the money to fix the problems.

2.) 05 Oct 2019 18:22:23
LMFAO.

3.) 05 Oct 2019 20:12:35
We need to stick with Poch or turn in to a club that sacks its manager every time we go through a sticky patch like Palace or Fulham, I could go on.
The team and manager don’t become bad overnight and I know we’ve been bad in the league for a good few months now but results away this season already in fixtures that are notoriously difficult have been positive. We would have taken a draw against that shower pregame, be honest.

As for why this ⬆️ gooner above; his lmfao is anyone’s guess considering they’re hardly pulling up any trees!
Oh, and Oddbod will be happy as another Spurs player has seemingly suffered a serious injury 👍.

4.) 05 Oct 2019 20:33:17
Most defeats of any Premier League team in 2019 now.

How long do we wait for Poch to turn it around? I was expecting him to be given at least until year end . but if things continue on the current trajectory I can see something giving before then.

However, Levy is not going to want to give him 32million to go away either. So do United blink first and hire Poch away to replace Ole?

5.) 05 Oct 2019 20:40:53
Blame Joe Lewis.

6.) 05 Oct 2019 21:07:44
I didn’t see Joe Lewis name on the team sheet . whoever it was wearing a Tottenham shirt today, not one of them put in a performance worthy of the shirt.

7.) 05 Oct 2019 21:30:28
Ha, ha, I like the way you replaced ‘gooner’ with the word I actually put Ed! 🤬 ⬆️.

{Ed033's Note - Yeah, we know Malaga is a Gooner, but we don't really know whether he's a t*** :)

8.) 05 Oct 2019 22:18:32
Excellent 👍.

9.) 05 Oct 2019 22:45:30
Wow spursguvnor is back 😂🤣😂.

10.) 05 Oct 2019 23:39:27
Yes he's back with his bodyguard the raver behind him😎.

11.) 06 Oct 2019 17:57:04
Yeah I been busy Oddbod, Thursday nights especially.

12.) 06 Oct 2019 17:58:00
Did you know that without Aubameyangs goals Arsenal would be 19th?

13.) 06 Oct 2019 18:06:25
Yellow, all those blaming Poch need to see the bigger picture. Poch predicted this, why then?

Poch made a few mistakes, but he has also been very unlucky particularly with injuries. We haven't been playing well but have also been robbed with dodgy decisions, Newcastle, ARSENAL twice, Leicester. Look at that penalty Liverpool got yesterday, what a joke. Compare that to the Lascelle rugby tackle.

If Levy had done what Poch had asked then we wouldn't be in this mess, and the final say comes from Joe Lewis.

14.) 06 Oct 2019 19:07:58
The first and third sentences are the smartest things you have ever posted on here. So many of our fans are half wits who enable Levy. He's as pathetic at being a chairman as Kentucky Fried Christian is at being a footballer, and at six million a year. I would have Poch over Levy every time and if he leaves I expect anyone who says they are Tottenham to be ENIC out. #ENICOUT #OLDMANONTHEBOATOUT #LEVYOUT.

15.) 06 Oct 2019 19:46:06
Spursguvnor, so without Aubameyang we would of been playing with 10 men then. Ridiculous post.
You weren’t complaining about the decisions that went in your favour then.

16.) 06 Oct 2019 20:32:09
Levy is actually a very good Chairman, his hands are tied BUT there is a reason why Lewis employed him in the first place and that's that he would deliver exactly as Lewis wanted given his let's say tight but shrewd business acumen. Obviously this is a very basic and brief summary. Levy is also obsessed with the NFL project.

I would love new owners, but Lewis and Levy are waiting, they see evenmore $$$$ further on down the line.

Its small margins though, had we got the points from some of those outrageous decisions against us we would be a bit more positive. I am now in the ENIC out camp though. They've left Poch high and dry.

17.) 06 Oct 2019 20:35:40
Raver, did you know that Patrick (mad p) is now one of the head chefs in one of the restaurants at the lane? 🤣

Lucas, thanks pal. You've made my day, an endorsement of the highest order, from one of the biggest moaners I've ever heard.

18.) 07 Oct 2019 02:21:27
Guvnor - you’re starting to sound like Oddbod. questionable decisions and injuries as if we are the only club suffering from them.

19.) 07 Oct 2019 07:38:36
Jeez mad p is the head chef at the lane lol, I might ask him to make me a special burger with a few herbs and spices on it😁, he's still my favourite all time MC.

20.) 07 Oct 2019 08:31:05
I wouldn’t put the blame on the chairman, as I’ve stated before. Review the players we’ve signed under Poch. The problem at the club. No-one can spot talent from what I can see. Who has really impressed since Poch arrival. Son that’s about it.
The players need to be accountable. Individual errors, there’s far to many.
I wouldn’t start blaming decisions I’d start with the work rate of the players or the lack of should I say.
Poch needs to rebuild now. This current team / project is now coming to an end. Which does concern me as who is now scouting the new talent.

21.) 07 Oct 2019 16:04:52
We have new scouts.

22.) 07 Oct 2019 16:07:36
Yellow, thanks treacle.

01 Oct 2019 21:19:18
Hour into the champions league match against Munich and it's embarrassing as usual with this awful lot, the quicker bottles pochetinho leaves the better as we are going backwards every season under him, I'm off to get smashed on hoffmeister to put this match out of the ravers misery.

the raver

1.) 01 Oct 2019 21:49:18
I don't think you're going to qualify on goal difference. Let's put it that way.

2.) 01 Oct 2019 21:55:56
2-7 no much else needs to said.

{Ed025's Note - poch is under real pressure now mate..

3.) 01 Oct 2019 21:56:22
Oh dear raver

And you use to go on about Munich beating us

LMFAO.

4.) 01 Oct 2019 22:18:32
Ed025 - I wonder if Allegri got a call yet this evening.

{Ed025's Note - it would not surprise me yellow card, something has to give mate and levy will not be happy with the way things are going, i really like poch but up to now he is a nearly man, a lot of money has been spent not only on players but your fantastic state of the art stadium so success is expected..nay demanded by the board and the supporters, my guess would be that poch will walk before he is pushed but thats just a personal view..

5.) 01 Oct 2019 22:02:40
follow the bear raver ol mate
Poch has lost interest and so have players ed001 said Poch will get the hump no new players and real calling
These players have lost the prem last game
Fa Cup semi
European Cup final
Elc final and semi
The players must think we can't win anything under this manager
And the manager must think I can't win anything with these players Mr chairman
Not a good recipe for success.

6.) 02 Oct 2019 11:34:27
Spot on gola all these near misses has affected them big time and it's time for a huge overhaul at the club with a new chairman, manager and at least 6 new players to replace the likes of Ali, eriksen, alderwereld etc.

7.) 02 Oct 2019 00:20:36
Ed025 - i'd imagine Poch’s stock is dropping some from where it was at the start of summer in the eyes of potential suitors.

{Ed025's Note - you may be right yellow card, but i still think utd or real madrid would bite your arm off if he was available mate..

8.) 02 Oct 2019 18:18:31
Just read an article that Mourinho is on the spurs radar.
How true that is your guess is a good as mine.

I’ve been a big supporter of Poch. But!

Something clearly isn’t right at the minute. Generally that leads to the manager being released.
Our defence has been shocking all season. Aurier is a liability, surely Poch must have seen this. Deli Ali is a one season wonder. He’s a cocky little f##k from what I can see.

9.) 02 Oct 2019 18:28:39
Ed025 - both options could look a bit like jumping from a frying pan into a fire, for a man who remains unproven as a winner.

{Ed025's Note - thats a fair point yellow card, but both were courting him last season and lets be honest...they are both making a pigs ear of things at the moment mate..

24 Sep 2019 21:53:45
Levy please fire the serial bottler tonight the raver has had enough of this crap, this is relegation form at the moment and for a champions league squad to get knocked out by Colchester is laughable and I might bring 11 boys in from the dog and gun who would do a better job at the moment, POCH OUT, JOSE IN NOW.

the raver

1.) 24 Sep 2019 22:15:29
Raver I sent a post yesterday and it never went up on here. i'm not saying Poch out just yet but basically my post was pointing out that in our last 25 league games we have only managed 34 points. That points per game ratio wouldn't be good enough for the likes of Everton or Leicester, something needs to change.

{Ed001's Note - did it go on the discussion page? I didn't deal with it so not sure, but it might have been put there by the editor who did. If not then let me know so I can tell Ed033 there is an issue as I can see the post in your posting history and it shouldn't have been deleted.}

2.) 24 Sep 2019 22:17:30
Lookslike you got your wish, I'm hearing he's about to walk.

3.) 24 Sep 2019 23:16:58
I don’t think he has much choice but to walk. For whatever reason it’s not been working for him for 9 months.

Not a good time to find a suitable replacement either. don’t want José, but he is available, a proven winner in the past, Levy just might go there.

4.) 24 Sep 2019 23:32:11
I normally stick up for Levy but he failed to sell players like Eriksen and Rose out of greed. Alderweireld and Vertonghen have not been offered the wages they wanted and merited. Levy has a very strict policy on players after a certain age but its come back to bite him big time.

Pochettino will definitely walk if he is not promised what he wants/ needs. I was told Poch kicked over something near the dressing rooms at Colchester out of anger and was heard shouting.

5.) 24 Sep 2019 23:35:46
This is just my opinion but if Poch did go I don't think Levy would go for Mourinho. Someone mentioned Nagelsmann the other day, I reckon that's the type Levy would go for.

6.) 25 Sep 2019 01:59:52
Guvnor - did anyone actually make offers for any of those 4 players that were even reasonably fair within a timeframe that would allow them to be replaced.

As we both know it’s not as simple as someone offering 15m for Toby as an example the day before the window shuts.

21 Sep 2019 14:25:17
It's time to go pochetinho, last few weeks in leads against Arsenal, Olympiakos, Leicester and failed to win, we are a top half side this season nothing else with no cups in sight under the clueless one, it's time for the special one jose mourinho to take charge of spurs who will take us to the next level and will guarantee cups.

the raver

1.) 21 Sep 2019 19:37:32
I know he’s a proven winner raver but we do have a history, as Spurs fans, with Mourinho and it nearly always ends badly with this fella with teams he’s managed 💣.

2.) 21 Sep 2019 20:45:02
I don’t think Jose is the answer anymore than Pep would be, we just don’t have the budget to support their needs.

How about Gareth Southgate? Could he turn his national team experience into club level success? Farke from Norwich?

It’s going to need to be someone that can work within a budget and with younger players . Our entire defense needs to be rebuilt in the next 2-4 transfer windows.

3.) 22 Sep 2019 00:48:09
Yellow you have a good knowledge of football that’s for sure.
Let’s assess.
Things have been going wrong for us from the last 11 games last season. I’ve backed Poch a lot of late, however he’s been making some really bad judgments lately with selections.
Why on earth we always need to play 2 holding midfielders is beyond me. He needs to start changing his ways / formations or should I say his mindset. Lamela is useless. Last week he took son off. Why. he plays Sánchez right back. Why.
As I’ve said before our transfer windows have been shocking. Apart from Son. No-one has really improved the team. Whether that’s Levi or Poch I don’t know. Something is not right.

4.) 22 Sep 2019 11:01:57
DR, I wonder if the players have seen through the Levy/ Poch relationship - I couch it in those terms primarily because it’s not clear who is responsible for transfers, though I doubt Poch is not closely involved despite his summer protests.

Poor signings, young players not improving, the confusing team selections/ substitutions - admittedly some forced through the constant stream of injuries.

Seems like a lot of players wanted away this summer, which given the team just played in CL final surprised me, unless they believe that was the peak.

14 Sep 2019 18:45:16
Fantastic result today for the famous spurs, I'm now heading into seedy cental London with I'm feeling glad all over on the sounds system 😁 I can't wait to dine out on my Erick lamela looks tonight after he scored today and I'll be fighting all the ladies off tonight, also to wodbod MIND THAT GAP😎.

the raver

1.) 14 Sep 2019 19:07:50
First half was best 45 minutes I’ve seen us play in 2019.

2.) 14 Sep 2019 18:52:07
Well said The Raver, we desperately needed that win and should have come out of the traps like that against the Geordies 👍
The worrying thing is a 'reliable' source has recently informed me that we are "currently at least 10 years behind Arsenal" 😳
So, much work to do to close that yawning gap 😉.

3.) 14 Sep 2019 23:38:27
When you have an own goal and Lamela scores you know that is a one off, I wouldn’t get too carried away, but then again it is spurs fans LOL. Raver mind the gap saying doesn’t work when you have played a game more and only 1 point above.

4.) 14 Sep 2019 23:42:05
You are at least 10 years behind Arsenal, that’s why you can’t afford to pay the wages top players want like Arsenal do and you can’t keep players who want to win trophies, Eriksen is a great example of you being over 10 years behind.

5.) 15 Sep 2019 02:04:01
Behind you Oddbod. when were you last in CL final . wait when did you last qualify to play in the CL?

I think you’ll find we’ve been ahead of you the last few seasons . long may it last. Keep harping on about the past . it’s history.

6.) 15 Sep 2019 08:33:32
Going by that logic then yellow card you must also believe you are ahead of Man United as well too. 😂🤣😂.

7.) 15 Sep 2019 08:45:48
Yellow it’s a clubs history that makes it a big club, the reason you don’t like history is because spurs history is embarrassing, last league title 1961, last FA cup 1991
😂🤣😂.

8.) 15 Sep 2019 10:52:54
Remind us who you play Thursday Oddbod? 🤔.

9.) 15 Sep 2019 11:55:50
Wodbod what happened to Ramsey, sanchez etc they all run their contracts down and walked out 😂🤣😂 10 years behind a club who plays on Thursday nights😂🤣😂and I thought I had too much Mickey louder last night.

10.) 15 Sep 2019 12:22:26
Another pivot Oddbod? Losing another argument, change the parameters, good try - not good enough.

11.) 15 Sep 2019 15:15:10
Arsenal withdrew Ramsey contract offer he shed a tear when he left, completely different and yellow card thinks that’s losing an argument. 🤣😂

12.) 15 Sep 2019 15:34:04
Yellow card you do realise that Wigan, Portsmouth, Everton, Leicester, Swansea and Birmingham have had more success than spurs in the last 28 years. No wonder you don’t like talking about history 😂🤣😂.

13.) 15 Sep 2019 19:51:29
Oddbod, how many different debates are you having with me?

The ONLY subject I’ve addressed is current status of our respective clubs . you have attempted to throw so much stuff at me in the hope of something sticking I’ve lost track . so back to the original scheduled programming. Oddbod trying to find a valid point, me enjoying Sunday afternoon in the sun having a pint knowing his team failed again.

Cheers Oddbod . oh wait you’re probably not of legal drinking age.

Kane was out injured a lot of games last season, we would have struggled without sonny last season.

Spot on gola all these near misses has affected them big time and it's time for a huge overhaul at the club with a new chairman, manager and at least 6 new players to replace the likes of Ali, eriksen, alderwereld etc.
