If we were to sell Adebeyor, Soldado, Lennon, and Chiriches, we would have squad space and with all the other sales nearly enough to buy Berahino, Bolasie, Sissoko and Austin, just saying! That would make me actually optimistic too!

And there we have our new Tottenham back. If Jose didn't know how much of a challenge he had on his hands he does now! Every single player was poor, nobody did anything and the levels of both concentration and effort was poor. Some of our players couldn't pass a ball to save their lives. We have some very mediocre players and it showed as we never troubled the poorest Manchester United side for years.

26 Nov 2019 21:00:40
Well now we will see how good Jose is! Under Poch there would be no way back, will we see more of the same or can Jose get a tune out of the severley mediocre lot out there?

1.) 26 Nov 2019 21:38:19
It’s when the honeymoon period is over that’s when you will see mwheels, look at Man U and ole.

2.) 26 Nov 2019 22:40:02
Yeah Oddbod, maybe but comparing Jose to Ole is like comparing a Ferrari with a Ford! Anyway when is your honeymoon period going to start?

3.) 26 Nov 2019 23:40:37
Good post that mwheels. I was thinking the same at half time.
We turned it around. realistically. What can any manager change in a week, .
He has a presence. Something was obviously said at half time.
We also have to take into account the opposition. Which in all fairness were a good side in my opinion.

All we could have asked for is 2 games 2 victories.

24 Nov 2019 09:08:17
Jose has just won as many away games in the Prem this calendar year as Poch!

1.) 24 Nov 2019 10:51:16
That's why he's the special one 😁.

2.) 24 Nov 2019 13:32:53
Lets hope he is the special several Raver!

3.) 24 Nov 2019 19:15:53
He will do well I think Jose always does get a trophy.
Wodbod what happened at the Emirates yesterday haha your rubbish just admit your club is in a massive decline and there is no light at the end of the tunnel managers are already turning it down how embarrassing.

Poor manager with worse players enjoy mid table mediocrity for a while you will need a neck brace soon to look at 10 teams all above you.

4.) 24 Nov 2019 23:15:08
Oddbod getting owned by opposition fans on our page!
‘tis true what he said though 👍.

5.) 25 Nov 2019 10:29:00
Gola, so you think Arsenal will finish 11th then? Let’s wait and see at the end of the season if you are right or made to look completely stupid.

6.) 25 Nov 2019 19:51:52
Put a post on arsenal banter page especially for you oddbod no answer as of yet 24 hrs later
But you reply straight away on spurs page bit weird
Admit arsenal are rubbish. I guarantee you are below us and spurs at end of season
We are playing a young and upcoming team and eight clear of you
spurs got stale under same manager for to long you must know how that feels bu theyt have quality players to bounce straight back
What have you got nothing your club is in decline
1 of the eds said it is being run badly manager is rubbish players are rubbish board is rubbish but hey ho you've got gwendozy
Norwich away next lol embarrassing times I bet your not even confident of winning that.

7.) 26 Nov 2019 17:43:41
Gola what managers have turned down Arsenal then?

8.) 26 Nov 2019 17:46:38
Gola Arsenal have a manager, and your saying managers are turning Arsenal down? Your not just making things up are you? 🙄.

9.) 27 Nov 2019 09:47:02
Well gola, what managers have turned down Arsenal?

10.) 27 Nov 2019 23:01:52
If you actually spent anytime on arsenal page allegri turned it down because the board are all over the place.

11.) 27 Nov 2019 23:06:15
FOR YOU WODBOD on Arsenal page Ed002's Note - Threats will go down well I am sure. proposals such as this end the contact between the club and the fans. You are turning in to Liverpool fans and sometime occasional Everton fans that think a bunch of morons who damage the stadium, threaten to boycott games and abuse everyone are worthy of listening to. If you don’t go to games, the club don’t care. If you boo at games, the players are the ones who feel bad - so why should they make any effort for the fans or care at all. Xhaka will go, Abamayangadingdong will go, others will be speaking to their agents about options. The fundamental problem at Arsenal is taking on their seventh or eighth choice coach without realising they have a fundamental issue with the structure at the club and related responsibilities. Look to an opportunity to restructure - clear it out, take a transfer window off, get Vieirinha as Director of Football, get a strong coach and look again - the problem, they have spent the wet day fund on Pepe, damn. The other problem is becoming the fans who cannot see the issues. }.

12.) 27 Nov 2019 23:10:35
More good news WODBOD
Ed002's Note - You need to go back and think why last summer:
Monchi (Technical Director) - no interest in working with no clarification of responsibilities
Andoni Zubizarreta (Technical Director) - no interest in working in the strange set up the club has - which is why Sven Mislintat walked out.
Marc Overmars (Technical Director) not interested in working in the structiure Arsenal has
Edu (Technical Director) open to taking the job where he has minimal responsibility.
Francis Cagigao was promised a promotion to become overall head of scouting, and Steve Rowley was likely to step up from his role in youth development. Chief negotiator Huss Fahmy will stay in the same position. So what will Edu be doing?
It is a shambles.

gianfranco gola

13.) 28 Nov 2019 10:30:25
It’s being reported that allergi is top of the list, so how can he be top of the list if he already turned them down, straight away what you hear is completely wrong, 😂🤣😂🤣😂.

14.) 28 Nov 2019 10:31:22
Gola this is what ed002 also said
"{Ed002's Note - You can easily search to find the answer. Pepe will not be moving to Arsenal. }"
Was ed002 right about that also? You shouldn’t believe everything gola.

15.) 28 Nov 2019 15:50:03
OK we will see
Doesn't hide the fact your club is in a dreadful state the question you keep dodging.

16.) 28 Nov 2019 20:02:03
I’m not dodging it, we are.

17.) 28 Nov 2019 20:09:39
Gola you haven’t answered what mangers have turned down Arsenal?

18.) 28 Nov 2019 22:22:07
you heard it hear folks wodbod has admitted that arsenal are crap
thats all I needed

plus {Ed047's Note - I’m sure ed02 said that Allegri was one of those that didn’t like the set up above him at the club so wouldn’t come.

I don’t know where realistically the board can go and probably not a high profile manager just someone that will work under the odd set up we have.

now your boring me.

19 Nov 2019 22:18:55
Ive said it on here a few times but I think Eddie Howe woild be our best bet. He is used to working on a tight budget and his style of play is similar to ours over the last few years. It would be a fairly seemless progression and he may well be able to bring a couple with him, Wilson, Fraser, Brooks etc?

{Ed002's Note - It is not about budget - it is about conditions, individuals, and specifically where responsibilities extend.}

03 Nov 2019 16:12:27
What exactly do Eriksen and Aurier have to do to get dropped. dare I ask, we will probably find in the next 2 hours!

{Ed047's Note - Aurier is actually painful to watch he’s so bad, reminds me of Andre Santos! Which is a memory I’ve tried to erase.

1.) 03 Nov 2019 17:20:09
45 mins in and Eriksen has been nothing short of pitiful. Dire game and not a lot of positives at this point.

{Ed001's Note - Ndombele shows some real flashes of quality, right now he looks like he is far too good for the rest of the team. Well other than Son.}

Yes I get all that Guvnor, but why do we always continue to turn the screw for so long? I am glad we have a solid base and are a properly run club, for which Levy is to be congratulated, but haggling over a couple of mil until the 11th hour when you are talking about a 50 mil plus player makes me think he isn't that interested in the player and will end up with the usual club statement come the 9th, we tried our best but it wasnt possible etc.
On the other hand if we do get it over the line it will have been so dragged out that he probably won't be ready for selection until september. I just would have loved a year where we buy whoever our genuine realistic targets are early in the window so they can prepare and be ready for gameweek one, not gameweek 4. Perhaps I live in a fantasy world!

I am sick to death of us leaving transfers until the 11th hour and then missing out. It stinks of Levy penny pinching again, even if we get Lo Celso he won't be ready for the 1st few games as he will need time to settle in.
Currently from our tiny squad from last year we have got rid of many more than we have added and the contract situation of the ones we have are nearly terminal in some cases, why leave it to drag so long. If they are showing no signs of extending contracts just move them on for the best price you can actually get and stop pissing about for the sake of a few mil and get the players you actually know are available and you want, is it really that complicated?
Im guessing Levy is now planning on signing Sessegnon in jan on a tribunal to save another few mil, risky business!

{Ed002's Note - Embarrassing.}

I think the reason you finished below us was because again you got less points than us! Your arguements are always based on ifs, well here is one for you Oddbod, IF my Auntie had balls she would be my Uncle!

I can't see us buying a replacement any time soon. It will mean more minutes for Skipp this season so we may see a bit more of him and what he is made of, he seems to have great potential.

The one thing we desperately need is a CM that can go past a player which then opens up space for the front 3. This is what Dembele has been brilliant at. When he goes past one or two and then gives it we create so much more. We need to have that as in my eyes Dier Wanyama, Winks and Skipp are really all competing for the same posistion and currently Sissoko is the only one for the other CM spot if Dembele goes.

I really like Sissoko in terms of speed stamina work rate and dribbling but technically he isn't good enough and has little to no end product. He does a lung busting 40 yard run, goes past 3 and then misses a 5 yard square pass!

I would also like to add that Dembele has been my favourite player to watch live for the last 3 years and he has completely bossed many of the games I've been to. The guy has such strength and technique, made it look so easy at times, and I will miss him!

That red was rediculous, you can't change a yellow to a red because the guy hurts himself. It was one of those 1 in a million things thay was really unfortunate. I have massive sympathy for Gomes but I just can't see how the classic 'trip him and tale a yellow' can possibly be a red?

{Ed047's Note - surely it will be rescinded, as much as that didn’t help you tonight going down to 10 men it will at least stop him being banned.
