Reading this morning that the Ndombele deal is NOT done. Lyon are holding out for more money.

1.) 28 Jun 2019 13:27:29
The media seems a little scattered, one day a deal is agreed at 65m, the next Lyon rejected 40-45m and we haven’t gone back. Until we seem them in the shirt it’s difficult to believe anything.

. I’m always reminded of the recent mess that was Willian. With Levy doing the negotiations it’s always possible another team can step in at the last minute and walk away with our targets.

2.) 28 Jun 2019 16:16:21
Aulas does this all the time. I guarantee you a deal is agreed, i'm thinking its just the add ons or bonuses holding it up a littlewhich is why I said it will be slightly more than the 65m.

3.) 29 Jun 2019 09:05:54
Could be waiting for the new financial year. Some clubs new financial year is July. I’m completely guessing though!

4.) 29 Jun 2019 16:34:38
I think we could be in four a treat on Monday! ;)

5.) 30 Jun 2019 22:28:30
Lol, name them, all four of them.

6.) 01 Jul 2019 02:51:42
Reports late tonight saying fee is agreed for Ndombele.

7.) 02 Jul 2019 02:42:25
Ndombele medical rumored for Tuesday.

8.) 02 Jul 2019 09:10:53
Out of internet for few days. Didn't realise medical was 2 parter, so announce today instead of yesterday. So JC and Ndom today, don't know why the delay with Sess bros.

14 May 2019 17:22:11
Reports Christian Eriksen will be sold for €80m I’d take that.

1.) 14 May 2019 22:29:47
Gareth bale will be part of the deal with eriksen I reckon dr, I would definitely take that.

2.) 18 May 2019 17:02:41
I’m not sure Bale is fit/ strong enough for a full premier league season.

At his best capable of being a world beater but those days seem to have past him by, injuries seemingly taken their toll.

3.) 27 May 2019 00:36:09
Gareth Bale is still world class despite what doubter will say. He is only 29 and has loads to still offer. Returning to the place he set the Premiership alight will only week to reenergise him, and our physios are in a different league these days. If the price is low enough and we can get him for £150K a week then he is the perfect addition. Imagine Son Alli and Bale begins Kane. Exciting times with so many transfers likely before the season starts.

4.) 29 May 2019 18:22:25
So Bale takes a 75% pay cut to play for us? Maybe you need to get on with your homework and stop daydreaming Oracle.

31 Jan 2019 15:54:06
I used to get excited with big Jim on SS DEADLINE day, however I’m not excited one bit. I’m not quite sure why this is.

Oh yeah. Levy get that f’ing cheque book out.

Ed’s any rumours for the spurs boys.

{Ed002's Note - Nkoudou will leave.}

1.) 31 Jan 2019 21:44:35
To everyone it’s transfer deadline day!
To Levy it’s Thursday!

20 Jul 2018 17:12:19
C’mon Ed’s / Ellis give me some updates who are we looking to bring in, and who are we looking to ship out.

Is our budget £100m (this is what I read somewhere) that’s without having to sell first how true that is I don’t know.

Cheer me up.

{Ed001's Note - it doesn't work like that with a budget. I don't have any news to add to what Ed002 has given recently (in his megasharkopod if I remember correctly).}

{Ed033's Note - Please listen to the Summer Megasharkopod transfer rumours - Ed002 starts off with Spurs.}

1.) 22 Jul 2018 22:46:28
Dr, nothing much that i haven't said before tbh.

I would say that Seessegnon getting promoted with Fulham was a big blow, that might mean Rose staying for another season if we don't get him and the chances of Fulham selling now are slim.

I would say its one of either Martial, Pulisic and Zaha. I know i said a few months ago we had dropped our interest in Zaha but it looks now that Zaha is refusing to sign a new contract so that's one to lookout for although i think Martial is Pochs most wanted.

Obviously if Alderweireld goes then a Cb will be needed.

Ndombele is wanted, that could be dependant on Dembele.

2.) 29 Jul 2018 16:20:57
What about Grealish. Did we ever put a bid in for hime or was it all paper talk?

3.) 29 Jul 2018 22:15:16
Dawj, i don't know mate. I get info off 2 people, one who is a scout and the other an agent. Neither of them have said Grealish to me, and i did ask, but that's not to say there isn't interest. It would make sense with the homegrown quota.

4.) 30 Jul 2018 08:15:01
News from SC is that Grealish is a now a no go!

5.) 03 Aug 2018 14:53:44
Wouldn't read SC mate, none of them know anything. I posted on there last year about our interest in Isco and one of the supposedly best 'itk's' on there called Jetset tried rubbishing it and i ended up getting banned. Bunch of muppets.

22 Mar 2018 17:06:36
Hello Ed’s. Any news on Toby. Something doesn’t seem right. Speculation about his departure in the summer. Have you heard of any inside information.

{Ed001's Note - if he doesn't sign the new contract he will be sold in the summer, so far he is not signing.}

1.) 22 Mar 2018 18:44:43
Topman Ed001 I feel that will be a big loss if he’s sold. Not really convinced with Sanchez. I know he’s young but nevertheless he don’t seem to read the game to well.

{Ed001's Note - I do not rate Sanchez at all. Physically superb but has no defensive mindset at all and is always out of position. Relying on pace to get you out of trouble only gets you so far. Oh and he is poor on the ball, which is why part of Man Utd's tactical plan in the Europa League final was to let him have the ball. To paraphrase the great Johan Cruyff: if you let their worst player on the ball have it, it will not be long before you get it back.}

2.) 22 Mar 2018 20:39:38
toby is going nowhere trust me on that.

3.) 03 Apr 2018 12:04:14
I wouldn't be so sure on that Stevieboy.!

4.) 09 Apr 2018 09:18:42
ED very harsh on Sanchez. Did you not see him against Chelsea for example. Still young and improving, and when Kovacic joins in the summer alongside Wanyama he will have engines in front of him.

Dembele and Dier will rotate and we will have the core we need. I have heard a rumour we will sell Toby and buy De Ligt as a replacement.

5.) 11 Apr 2018 13:56:01
There we go I'm losing hope of De Ligt now.

I didn’t see the game raver. i'm on my final trip to NYC for the year.

From what I’ve read we were shocking.
Sanchez, Winks, Sissoko have been getting a slating.

Why aren’t we playing Ndombele, he seems to be the best out of all the mediocre midfielders we currently have in the squad

We’ve looked bang average all season to be honest. (I’m being kind there)
Mourinho doesn’t seem to like Le Celso, not his type of player I’m guessing. From what I’ve seen to date they’ll be no champions league next season.
I’ve said to a few of my mates, I think Mourinho’s football is dated now. The game has changed over recent years.

I also stated get Brendan Rogers and got slaughtered. He changed Liverpool’s style when he was there. The players want to play for him. They all put shift in.

1.) 06 Dec 2019 13:14:06
Spot on dr nothing has changed winks, dier, moura, eriksen are still poor and the big new signings have yet to take off, the only plus is Auerier looks more improved along with alli who is having a sensational run. I have every faith in jose who will turn our fortunes around and I agree with you on Rodgers looks a great manager and I can see him ending up the next city or Utd manager in the future.

2.) 07 Dec 2019 00:12:09
I’m not sure there’s too many top performing managers that would risk taking on the United or Arsenal jobs at the moment. Both clubs appear to have some intrinsic internal issues that require fixing and will require a level of patience in a manager to rebuild a team/ squad that can compete with the current likes of Liverpool, City and even Leicester on current form.

Mourinho took the one job he can’t loose at, if he wins us a trophy he’ll be the special one . if not it’s just Tottenham.

3.) 07 Dec 2019 23:45:49
Football is a funny game yellow. United looked like the united of old today. We all blame these managers. But some of these players really need to be accountable. It annoys me about the players. One week they put a shift in the next week non existent. Last week Ole was fighting for his job. This week he’s a hero. Again look at Everton today. This season is a strange one for a few teams.

I didn’t see our game today as I’m still travelling, I know we obviously smashed Burnley. By the score line I’m thinking we played class. Did we though.

02 Sep 2019 07:39:06
Have you been on the phone again Oddbod

AN Arsenal fan left Robbie Savage in stitches live on radio after claiming the Gunners can win the Premier League.
The former Birmingham and Blackburn midfielder then thought the caller was on a wind-up after declaring David Luiz is a better defender than Champions League winner Virgil van Dijk.

1.) 02 Sep 2019 15:09:53
2-2 Oddbod, you can use the words lucky and unlucky in every other sentence if you want, it ain't going to change the result 👍
Just chill out ❄.

2.) 02 Sep 2019 16:40:02
I guess you are happy being in 9th place in the league 👍.

3.) 02 Sep 2019 22:51:57
Nothing like gloating while you can Oddbod.

4.) 02 Sep 2019 22:52:28
Yep, very happy!

5.) 03 Sep 2019 19:09:08
I heard that call and was laughing along, that caller was unbelievable. He said that player for player, Arsenal have a better team than City and Liverpool. Incredible.

6.) 04 Sep 2019 19:28:24
Oddbod getting owned by other teams fans again!
AJH, I loved Cantona when I was 17/ 18 - I even turned my practice school rugby shirt collar up and got my mum to put a seven on the back!
A proper maverick and a genius that I think most opposition fans could appreciate 👍.

26 Jul 2019 17:35:05
I’m absolutely flabbergasted as to why no-one came in for Toby.
Good news for us though, he’d have been an absolute snip for £25m.

1.) 26 Jul 2019 18:32:29
Let’s hope Levy gets Toby and Jan to re-up together before next summer,

2.) 26 Jul 2019 19:06:45
How do we know no one did come in for Toby?

{Ed002's Note - There was interest but it was soon dropped.}

3.) 26 Jul 2019 19:35:03
Ed2, do you have any insight as to why the interested party (s) for Toby dropped out - at 25m seems like a steal in the current market, which only leaves me to imagine salary demands.

{Ed002's Note - Age and options.}

4.) 26 Jul 2019 20:44:08
Thanks Ed2.

Maybe Levy has a better understanding of the market that we as fans appreciate.

5.) 27 Jul 2019 00:14:23
No maybe about it. He does.

20 Jul 2019 13:37:03
I cannot believe we’ve offered Fernando Llorente another season. Backward step that for me.

Also reading that Poch has said to Levy he doesn’t mind what squad the clubs provides him this season. He’ll still be happy.

He seems to have back tracked on the comments he made 6 weeks ago. Saying the club needs to make the next step.

1.) 20 Jul 2019 18:21:29
I suspect some dominos are going to drop in the next few days and Poch knows that.

2.) 21 Jul 2019 16:42:16
llorente should have been waved off this summer, he's been very poor at spurs and we should be aiming higher for a back up striker for Harry Kane, the raver is dusting down his quaser boots ready for levys call.

3.) 21 Jul 2019 23:30:57
He has been waved off.

19 Jun 2019 17:12:28
Does anyone have any information on outgoings

Surely these need to be moved on.

I guess Eriksen will go, although I did read that the club have offered him £200k per week, not sure how true that is.

We should have offered Toby that. Or at least somewhere near that.

1.) 19 Jun 2019 19:02:45
Eriksen should be the first one straight out the door with his eye of the needle through balls to Sergio Aguero in the 98th minute. A weak weak player. Swiftly following him should be Trippier and Dier, both championship players. Then add your list. Go all out for Rabbiot, Lo Celso, Ziyech and real competition for Harold.

2.) 19 Jun 2019 19:44:12
Reports are that Real Madrid have offered spurs 45 million for eriksen plus cebellos who looks class at the European u21 tournament, my five players who I want in at spurs is le celso, ndombele, Callum Wilson, zaha and wan bissaka, outs trippier, rose, lamela, llorente, Davies, foyth, wanyama, Jansen, eriksen,

3.) 19 Jun 2019 19:50:27
Lucas, nice and positive as usual. We can't just buy all non homegrown players, unless they're prepared to not be in the CL squad.

Dr, I heard today that a few Italian clubs are interested in Lamela. I've also been told that Southampton are interested in resigning Wanyama.

4.) 19 Jun 2019 20:51:11
Fully agree Ellis, I can see lamela and wanyama back at their former clubs, be good buisness for both clubs and the players.

5.) 19 Jun 2019 22:19:49
In this one window I’d like to see Eriksen, Lamela, Wanyama, Jansen, Trippier, Aurier and GKN gone.

New contract for Toby, sign Ndombele, Lo Celso and Ceballos, and a new RB obviously, bring Troy Parrott into the first team squad.

6.) 20 Jun 2019 08:39:35
Ndombele, Lo Celso and Ceballos and Ryan Sessegnon.

7.) 20 Jun 2019 17:12:23
What sort of prices for Lamela ellis, 30m? Or am I in dream land, he’s hardly been in the shop window of late to impress. (He’s never impressed me full stop) apart from a few good games here at there, mainly in the UEFA cup games. He’s more suited to Italian football.

Personally I think we’ll only bring 2 or 3 this window
I guess depending on the outgoings

I think the incomings (if any 😛) need to be players who are going to walk into the 1st eleven.
Any truth in Van Der Beek. He looked a good player in the CL. I haven’t seen enough of him to make an educated assessment.

8.) 20 Jun 2019 18:55:27
I have no idea over the price for Lamela, I'd guess we would be lucky to get 25m for him but he did sign a new contract only last season.

I did have a list of loads of players we have scouted but I can't find it. James Maddison was on it but again with Leicester it would be unbelievably difficult to sign him if there is still interest. The young midfielder from Wolves Gibbs White was also on it. Any player we go for will either be an upgrade and almost a guaranteed starter or a young prospect like Clarke of Leeds.

9.) 20 Jun 2019 19:41:36
Good update ellis.

Although shouldn’t we be aiming higher? I think so IMO.
I read that Poch wants Asensio if Eriksen goes the other way. (Can’t see that happening)
Put a bid in for that Jordon Sancho. 🤣🤣 promise him 1st team football (we need a bit more flair and pace injection)

I agree about Leicester they won’t be bullied into selling, I’d like to have that Maguire at spurs, like an old Richard Gough.

10.) 20 Jun 2019 23:08:33
I think we are aiming higher though, with Ndombele and Lo Celso.

We have been watching Maddison for years, I don't reckon we are in for him at all now tbh. We tried getting Sancho before he went to Dortmund, he wanted to come. City refused to sell to us. No chance with Ascensio imo.

I can't remember Richard Gough coming out with the ball like Maguire but I think you mean in the box when defending? Braveheart.

Don't be surprised to see Troy Parrott get gametime next season, he is going to be some player.

11.) 20 Jun 2019 23:30:07
Richard gough that takes me back guvenor, he was class and was gutted he left after one season, that 87 side was one of my favourite sides to watch and were close to winning the double.

12.) 21 Jun 2019 22:29:16
Yeah he was a great CB, put his body on the line type.

Harvey Barnes is another we are interested in, but again it's Leicester.

Alan Hansen’s comments they were Yellow

I feel we’re being a little slow, however the only thing is that there hasn’t actually been many signings to date.

That what I’m telling myself anyway

I agree raver I’d keep Toby all day long, I’m surprised clubs aren’t queuing up if I’m honest. Strange one for me that.

It was your away record that ruined your season, Never mind head to head games. Your run of results we're abysmal, Ours wasn't much better . But you had a chance and blew it.

Burnley - Lost
Leicester - Lost
Wolves - Lost
Palace - Lost
Everton - Lost

Like I said to you earlier in the season, You we're lucky in a lot of games which I watched.

If you want to believe it was the penalty that should have been re-taken, Then you clearly are a deluded individual who knows F'ALL.
