Ed, is the Davinson Sanchez to Spurs talk real? Would be so happy with that signing.

Tyleri89

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach by Spurs.}

1.) 11 Aug 2017 20:56:15
Apparently the deal is almost done.

2.) 11 Aug 2017 21:52:22
If true, our back 3 will be ridiculous.

3.) 11 Aug 2017 22:09:40
Ellis, is this from your source?

4.) 11 Aug 2017 23:22:39
Levy is in Amsterdam with Raver.

5.) 11 Aug 2017 23:23:50
No, i mentioned him ages ago that we was scouting him, Paul Mitchell really wanted him.

6.) 12 Aug 2017 23:29:07
Ellis levy is even playing hardball in Amsterdam with the raver, we decided to go window shopping when this gorgeous girl said me and levy can have the works for a tenner but levy said he wouldn't pay no more than 7 quid lol.

Ed, will Moussa Dembele be leaving Celtic this window? If so, are Spurs interested? I remember reading we tried to buy him last summer.

Tyleri89

{Ed001's Note - it is possible, Celtic would prefer to keep him but would take the right offer. Spurs still maintain interest but Dembele is not interested in being a back up to Kane.}

1.) 28 Jul 2017 00:10:43
He will get game time almost every single match. If we are drawing or losing then Pochetino will bring on Dembele to support Kane, and if the same is won he will replace him.

When you consider the Champions Peauge exposure as well as the League anc FA Cups he will have plenty of chances to shine.

I would love this signing.

2.) 28 Jul 2017 11:09:54
So you are saying you are going to be losing or drawing most games next season then!

3.) 28 Jul 2017 11:31:49
Hi Gunnerbod, Are you waiting in anticipation of what shirt you'll have to buy next season to have Sanchez on the back. I'm going to guess Man City as he's even said he'll take a pay cut to get out of being at Arsenal. haahahahahahahahaha.

4.) 28 Jul 2017 14:36:19
And too add Ryan - Sanchez has phoned in sick. He's off no doubt about it. !

5.) 28 Jul 2017 14:40:06
Ryan, I will get it the same time as you do with Walker on the back, hahahaha.

6.) 28 Jul 2017 15:01:56
Come on let's not kid ourselves our loss of Walker won't be as great as your loss of Sanchez especially if we play 3 at the back and deploy wing backs as opposed to full backs! 50million for Walker is great business sense. You guys trying to hold onto a player whoe doesn't want to be there isn't! Just speaking the truth pal!

7.) 28 Jul 2017 16:22:11
Ryan, Trippier wasn't bad playing wingback. Obviously not as fast as Walker but much better at crossing and defending. Whoever we get for that position will probably be a whippet.

8.) 28 Jul 2017 16:24:17
Dr, you have any remedies for poor old Alexis?

9.) 28 Jul 2017 16:34:51
Speaking the truth, Arsenal made top 4 for 20 consecutive years and last year with Sanchez as our main man we finished 5th. his attitude is wrong and last year showed that so we would be stronger as a team without him. we have strengthened our team with two signings, spurs have weakened your team by selling! Just speaking the truth pal!

10.) 28 Jul 2017 17:15:13
Only time will tell if you've stengthend Spursbod (I'm calling you that from now on as you're never on the Arsenal page) the French lad you've just purchased isn't in the same league as Sanchez, you take it from me.

Ellis, Sanchez needs to rest up take a few days off and wait for Pep's phone call. Then he'll be brand new.

11.) 28 Jul 2017 20:00:55
Oddbod, without Sanchez you would of finished 10th at best. Nothing wrong with his attitude last season.

12.) 28 Jul 2017 23:55:25
Ellis, what a ridiculous statement, so you are saying we couldn't win a game without him in our team? 😂.

13.) 28 Jul 2017 23:58:32
Ellis our win rate with Sanchez is 55.8% and without him it's 71.4%, what a deluded statement you have just made and now I've made you look stupid! LMAO.

14.) 29 Jul 2017 18:18:51
Stats aren't always reliable, it depends what teams you were playing without him for example. Ok then Sanchez is crap and you don't need him, doh.

15.) 29 Jul 2017 19:49:41
Never said crap, as a team better win percentage without him, and you think we will finish 10th without him hahaha.

16.) 29 Jul 2017 23:17:47
No you won't finish 10th but 8th is possible. Spurs, Man City, Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Everton and West Ham will finish above Arsenal.

Prediction is Wenger is sacked before Christmas.

West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace are you main competitors now, time for you to start trolling their forums!

17.) 30 Jul 2017 11:28:37
Boys. Let's not throw stones against the Gooner. Bad karma. We aren't in any position to mock them. Sanchez comes home to the lane? Ok. Then we'll laugh. Fact is they took a world class player off us for free. That needs to be addressed and made right. Sacc man still hurts from that.

18.) 30 Jul 2017 11:29:03
Classic oracle, going by your track record that means Arsenal will win the league, and Damino deal is done, hahaha.

19.) 02 Aug 2017 11:22:44
So boring Gunnerbod that you talk about Damiao 2 years later. I think if you look back you might forget Alderweireld, Dele Alli and others that I also linked before they were in the press like all your nonsense regurgitation.

The problem with you Gunner is you always throw stones but NEVER answer simple questions when they are pitched to you. So to prove this point answers please;

1. What players do Arsenal have that would get into a Spurs first XI ignoring Sanchez who is City or PSG bound?

2. What position do you think you will finish next season?

3. What position do you think Spurs will finish next season?

4. Do you believe Wenger will be in his job come Christmas?

5. Will Arsenal go for the Champions League spot by taking the Europa League seriously?

Be honest!

Ed, with the news out of Everton today it appears Barkley is definitely leaving this window. Are Spurs a likely destination?

Tyleri89

{Ed002's Note - A possible destination if a price can be agreed.}

31 Mar 2017 21:58:59
Ed, is it true Spurs made attempts to acquire Riyad Mahrez? If so, will they try again this summer?

Tyleri89

{Ed002's Note - No, they simply enquired after his avaiability and were told he was not for sale. There is every chance he will move in the summer but there is no indication where to at this time.}

16 Jan 2017 06:14:03
Hey Ed, are the Spurs still interested in Wilfried Zaha? Thanks.

Tyleri89

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

Lorenzo Insigne has reportedly requested a transfer. I know Poch was targeting him earlier this year. He'd be a dream signing. Hope Poch pushes for him.

It appears the N'Koudou deal is no longer happening. Seemed inevitable. This also means N'Jie is sticking around as he's joined the team in training sessions.

Now that this ordeal is finally over, I hope we move quick to secure another midfielder. Of the names we've been linked to I think Rafa, Malli, Coric seem more likely than the others. Of those, I don't know which I'd prefer. Probably Coric. The only issue there is that I'd rather get a winger. Boufal is my favorite potential target but with him being injured I don't think anything happens.

Tyleri89

1.) 10 Aug 2016 15:28:04
I can't help thinking if this croation kid was as good as people say Bilic would have snapped him up some time ago for West Ham, only my opinion.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 23:08:46
Coric has turned down lots of offers apparently. We have looked at his teammate Marko Rog a few times.

25 May 2016 17:09:27
Out:
Fazio
Chadli
Carroll

In:
Embolo
Wanyama
Coric
Backup CB

Is this completely unrealistic? Mason could also be added to the "out" list if we think Pritchard and Onomah are ready for their roles in replacing him.

Tyleri89

1.) 25 May 2016 18:00:17
Embolo would be a good addition, Coric one for the future - can either contribute consistently in Pl and/ or CL next season would be a concern.

Id rather Kante than Wanyama if there was a choice - I think we have enough players prone to doing irrational things in games and Wanyama just adds to that list.

2.) 25 May 2016 21:04:03
I'd actually prefer Kante as well. I didn't realize we were in the running until now.

Embolo is my top choice for forward because he seems to effective as striker and on the wing. His strength on the ball with my favorite quality of his.

3.) 26 May 2016 01:41:06
I don't know we are in the running for any of the players we are linked with . half I suspect we have scouted at some point in time and the other half is probably an agent trying to put his player in the window, not neccisarily to us but to provoke a other team to enquire.

Ed,

If Walker leaves, is the plan to have Trippier in the starting role or have Spurs been scouting for another player to fill that role?

Tyleri89

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know, sorry.}

I think it'd be a huge mistake to let Rose go.

I'd be shocked if we sold Rose. Every summer the papers claim the Manchester clubs are going to buy all of our best players. Those days are over. The players have no incentive to leave for those guys.

We finished 3rd in a season where a lot of the other big clubs had down seasons. Those clubs have each brought in several upgrades. I'm not saying we are doomed or need a panic buy, but we do need to continue to improve the team. Wanyama and Janssen are nice additions but it isn't enough.
