Does MP stick with the 2 cb's tonight? If so, will it be Wimmer, C-V or Davies to play alongside Toby and Eric? Alternatively, does he revert back to the 4-2-3-1 system which will enable Son to start? What d'you guys reckon?

He will play Toby and dier in a 451 formation, I have no faith in wimmer and carter Vickers looks vulnerable but will come good in the future as he's still young. I hope the club brings in a defender and a striker tonight but nothing will be done, the rumours are jay Rodriguez could join tonight

I'd be happy if that were true raver. I would have thought if anyone was going to arrive it will be Zaha I'd rather Rodriguez, personally I don't think anyone will be signed. I feel the club are going to take a gamble, what I mean by that is not signing any centre half and see if the names Jay mentioned can make the grade

Hi Ed,
if as expected Dawson and Chiriches leave and Fazio arrives, do you think that will provide us with sufficeint cover at the back (JV, Kaboul, Dier & Fazio)? Do you think either Fryers or Veljkovic are good enough to do a job there if needed?

{Ed008's Note - That's 4 central defenders that should be enough cover right there with 3 of them able to cover the full back areas if needed, I can only see Fryers and Veljkovic playing the smaller cup games this season.

If we signed Son would he be played as an out and out striker (competing with Harry) or as a winger to possibly give us options assuming both Lennon and Lamela leave?
If the latter I am very much in the camp of signing Charlie Austin for £15M rather than Berahino for possibly almost twice as much.

{Ed001's Note - I think he would be used in a couple of roles, but mainly he would replace Lamela, in my opinion.}
