Eds, I keep hearing rumours of a bid for Javier Hernandez - Have you heard anything about this and do you think they will sell to us?.
Personally I think we couldn't go to wrong with him, knows the Prem, Has bundles of pace and can definately score goals.

You say he has bundles of pace, I didn't see him terrorising defences with his speed when he was in the PL. we should aim higher I think.

Now I am getting as peeved about Bale's constant speculation as the next man, but there are things that make me think Levy WILL NOT sell him and one of those that is he has told AVB that he will not be sold.
Now we have all read AVB's statements saying he won't be sold/still going to be a tottenham player this season, so if Levy then sells Bale he is going to make Andre look like a right mug. therefore prompting AVB to leave. Can Levy afford to lose both Bale and AVB?
Reportedly Paulinho was also given assurances that Bale would be staying. So we now have the possibility of upsetting/losing 2 players and a manager.
And lastly, Marca and the Real Madrid scum. so reported and jumped on by every ****bag journo, Real have a contract ready for Bale to sign, but if that was so doesn't that mean that Bale has spoken to them about a contract and therefore RM have tapped up our player without tottenham allowing them to do so.
For me he's staying (at least for this season), Bring in the badly needed striker (s), and whoever else AVB has on his shopping list and we have an even better squad to go again this season.
Come on you Spurs!
1.) Appreciate what your saying but I think if Bale has agreed terms with Madrid it's not because they've tapped him up but more likely we've given them permission to speak with him. Maybe we've agreed a fee in principle but are waiting for a couple of signings to come in first to soften the blow when he leaves. Saying all that I think there's nothing in any of the stories and he's a Spurs player till next year atleast.

Gunnerwold we did exceed our expectations for the season for whatever reason, but by all accounts the title should have been yours - this shouldn't have been exceeding expectations but it's the same old thing with you, season deemed a success because you finished above us.
