Gunnerwod - You did indeed finish above us in the league. To be fair I thought 4/ 5th for us this season so in terms of exceeding expectation we have done better. Undeniably the football played has been better by Spurs too. We did implode in the last few games and I do believe that was lack of proven leaders and a back up for the likes of Kane, Alli and Dembele.

It's obviously nice to gloat about finishing above rivals but the thing you have to remember is there seems to be a plan at Tottenham with a young manager and a young side. A few additions and I full expect us to compete. Arsenal on the other hand have a lot of doubt towards the manager and have under achieved in a league that really should have been yours this season.

But I'm sure we will here the same spill about 'This is our Season' next time around. I like any other fan want my team to win medals but I also like seeing exciting football and that is exactly what I have got my tottenham team this season so I am a happy fan. Let's all come together for a summer of euros and hopefully getting out of the group stages and not finishing fourth in them!

Arsenal had their best season for years in the league. They also got roughly the same points they always get so all these Gooners saying they had their worst season for a while are deluded. Spurs were easily better but just imploded in the last few games for whatever reason.

It's futile to say one teams better than the other in truth we only finished above you guys because you were well and truly shattered mentally after the leauge was out of your grasp and that's why I tipped us to pip you to second. There's nothing between the clubs as regard to our starting 11. Arsenal are still a bigger club/ franchise but Spurs have been closing the gap over the past few years. I personally welcome the challenge.

Gunnerwold we did exceed our expectations for the season for whatever reason, but by all accounts the title should have been yours - this shouldn't have been exceeding expectations but it's the same old thing with you, season deemed a success because you finished above us.
