So it looks like all is done, we have made 3 (4 if you include Lopez) signings, although N'koudou is yet to be tested, (he's highly vetted) Janssen and Wanyama seem to be shrewd buys and great additions to our already great squad.
Every year I come back here after silly season is done and see people talk of doom and gloom and that "its all levy's fault" and "everyone will finish ahead of us" because they panicked and spent ridiculous money on players who are untested and bought on a whim without enough thought. Going by our history that's what we used to do and gambling on players never improved our squad in the past.
Took look at our rivals they had a much harder time keeping hold of their players and freaking out when they were building a new stadium, which was necessary to keep up with all the top clubs.
We have kept our best players, we have added impressive and clever thought out players, progressed and trusted our youth academy, kept our manager and yet everyone is still b**ching and moaning.
There are many moments in our past we can look back on in order to realise this has been a great transfer window for us (although Isco would have been unreal : (, it's still ok)
We have the best manager in the league, the best defence, the best goal scorer, and we have the youngest hardest working team with the best relationship and. we are still unbeaten.

I fully agree with coys spur, poch is the greatest, alderwereld and vertonghen are sensational and harry Kane is the best finisher in the world and we are still unbeaten babes.

Why do people think Poch doesn't like Chadli? He seems to be linked away and has never really gotten a good run, what are peoples thoughts on him?

I think he Is very average and sometimes seems lazy and I would like to see him gone, there are whispers that knopylanka is coming to spurs in the next fortnight.

Personally I like Chadli, I think he offers something a little different. The only problem I can see with him is I think he needs a run of games to get himself going and that's no good for MoPo style of play. I also think MoPo classes him as lazy and doesn't offer enough defensively, which again is a must for MoPo style players.
Raver, I have heard the rumours about Knoplyanka as well, but his time in Spain hasn't gone great and the premier league is a much more physical and faster league. I am not sure he would fair very well, but at the right price might be worth a punt.

I think Isco would be a good signing maybe a cheeky 1 year loan with option to buy depending on madrid transfer embargo.

Thanks very much Eds, I'm kinda relieved its not to do with Levy (as i'm a fan unlike many) . I don't need details but how do you think the considerable problems will affect the club? Is it only in terms of transfers?

"Joe Hart on the cheap" you must be having a laugh, no way would he would come to be Hugo's no 2 and Vorm is definitely one of the best second string keepers in the league!
