I know it's not spurs related but my local side Leatherhead are away at billericay in the f.a cup first round replay. its on bt sport and is definitely worth a watch. love a good non league scrap.

Agree0 0Disagree

16 Nov 2017 21:45:06
Gilly I took your advice and at half time I was ready to slate you, but the second half was a excellent watch and Leatherhead ripped the man city of non league apart. I thought jack midson was also outstanding and good luck in the next round to Wycombe. Gilly please predict a spurs win on Saturday.

Hey ed2 hope you're well, wanted to ask about a spurs player so hopped on over here (what's up spurs fans? )

I wanted to ask about Christian Eriksen and whether there's been 'strong' interest in him? Are there teams who want to take him? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Not at this time.}

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Nov 2017 01:37:47
You can hop back down the table now you've been on the spurs page.

Barca will be taking Coutinho soon a d then in the summer Mane will be targeted by the big clubs.

Agree6 1Disagree

15 Nov 2017 10:07:53
I don't know why fans from other clubs think spurs are selling all their star players, why would they want to leave when we are one of the best football sides in the league with the best training facility's and a new massive ground opening soon. None of our players will be leaving for the likes of bang average Liverpool that's for sure.

Agree4 2Disagree

15 Nov 2017 11:20:21
Haha I never said so Spurs want to sell him, I said is there interest from other sides, generally when a player plays well he attracts interest from better clubs, and you can keep running your mouth but I look forward to seeing you guys telling us all about how you pushed Man City to the title come May.

Agree1 3Disagree

15 Nov 2017 11:55:44
Welsh. Couthino came out and said to Liverpool, let me go to barcelona.
I want to play for a big club. lol.

Agree2 2Disagree

15 Nov 2017 12:04:18
Still not sure how Coutinho ties into a thread about clubs interested in Eriksen but sure let's keep diverging away from the topic.

Agree1 2Disagree

15 Nov 2017 12:43:04
Spurs are interested in eriksen.
That's where he plays.
Why would he go backwards and go to Liverpool.

Agree3 1Disagree

15 Nov 2017 13:29:43
You're really grasping at straws here buddy, if I wanted to know if Liverpool specifically were interested in Eriksen, I would've just asked on the Liverpool page, but I remember Eriksen being a hot prospect few years back so wanted to see what CLUBS (not Liverpool) are interested in him, you guys aren't worth the effort it took to type this.

Agree1 3Disagree

15 Nov 2017 17:17:19
Taffy - as you would expect, everytime a player has a great season or two, there will always be talk of bigger clubs wanting them. Surely you have enough football knowledge to know this.

The thing is now football has changed the money clubs are getting from TV rights and sponsors they don’t need to sell like they used to, last year proved that. There was atleast 3 big players that stayed at their clubs even after being pursued by the bigger clubs shall we say. You should be well aware of that, 2 of them names were linked with Liverpool

I hope that clears that up.

Agree2 0Disagree

15 Nov 2017 19:42:00
Haha this thread is honestly a joke as are you guys, you guys must be so insecure about Eriksen (not even your best player) leaving that one mention and all you guys can do is keep spouting that Coutinho wants to leave and make it relevant to liverpool, if I came in a generic account with no team, would you guys still be this dumb?

Agree1 1Disagree

15 Nov 2017 21:12:56
In answer to your original question Welsh 'NO'

what's us pushing City come May got to do with your question?

Agree0 1Disagree

15 Nov 2017 21:12:42
Welsh, Mane is on his way too. lol
Your keeper and back 4 are safe enough though, no one wants them lol.

Agree4 1Disagree

16 Nov 2017 00:44:48
Not a dig at leahy, but Welsh clearly can't see that most comments came from a united fan lol. Thought the Roy keane picture might of given that away.

Agree0 0Disagree

16 Nov 2017 09:00:18
Read the post properly Taffy, it’s about football in general and yes teams will be looking at Eriksen that’s for sure. If he goes we’ll replace him, he’s not irreplaceable

Now I’m sure you can even understand that.

Agree1 0Disagree

17 Nov 2017 11:42:03
Don’t take any notice of Ravers overreaction mate.

He was calling for Poch’s head after Utd away, then asking for him to be knighted after beating a poor and out of form Real at home.

Fickle fans tend to overreact.

I’m hope Barcelona do take Couts ahead of Eriksen. We are a better “team” without him.

Agree2 0Disagree

17 Nov 2017 22:04:08
'A poor and out of form Real Madrid' . Another bitter Liverpool fan. They might be a bit out of form but they are hardly poor are they? European Champions. They would batter Liverpool, maybe not as thoroughly as spurs did but they would win easily.

Agree1 0Disagree

18 Nov 2017 00:05:31
Spurs fans do become precious when they talk about Europe.

One wonders why.?

I watched the Paul Gascoigne documentary last night. What a player and nice bloke.
A funny man, what a player to be on the pitch with and bringing an ostrich in to the train ground lol.
Did you see him play raver or any of the other posters on here.
They don't make them like that anymore.
Great player.

Agree1 1Disagree

13 Nov 2017 20:58:18
I seen him play leahy and I will never forget him as he's given the raver some of his best football memories ever. Some of his story's make me chuckle when he turned down Manchester United if spurs bought his sister a sun bed and the one when Vinny Jones grabbed his nuts and he said he was worried he would lose his family allowance. But Leahy I will admit I've seen one better player at spurs than gazza and his name was Glenn Hoddle who for me is still the greatest footballer ever to come out of England.

Agree2 0Disagree

13 Nov 2017 21:20:31
Good player hoddle but I'd pick Gazza, I like the nutters.
If your on about the best english players you nearly have to go back to 66. For me Bobby Charlton best english player.

Agree1 2Disagree

13 Nov 2017 21:58:54
I like nutters as well leahy as they remind me of myself, the older boys always say George best was the best British footballer ever.

Agree0 0Disagree

13 Nov 2017 22:15:44
George best was the best Raver, I was talking about the best players to play for England.
Best for sure.

Agree0 0Disagree

14 Nov 2017 07:35:34
I remember watching Gazza play against Arsenal when he scored with one boot on, the Arsenal fans were throwing mars bars at him, he picked one up and put it down his sock after he’d scored. He was the best England player in my lifetime without a shadow of doubt, he used to make things happen, when he picked the ball up, he got you off your seat. I don’t see that to often now.

Agree1 0Disagree

14 Nov 2017 10:18:17
He loved the mars bars did gazza, I still remember when he was in training for England and he threw the whole packet of crisps down his mouth in front of the tv cameras always makes me chuckle. My late grandfather always said his brains were in his feet.

14 Nov 2017 12:30:55
That free kick v arsenal, what a strike of a ball.

Agree0 0Disagree

14 Nov 2017 12:29:33
Have to agree with you Raver, Gazza was a fantastic player but for me Glenn was the maestro supreme. The best passer and best first touch of any English player I've ever seen. He should have won many more caps for his country but was often overlooked in favour of good old "Right Angle" Ray Wilkins!

Agree3 0Disagree

14 Nov 2017 16:49:45
It was a travesty he was ignored by England 62, even platini said if he was French he would win 100 caps and idolized forever. If you think gazza scored good goals go and watch a Glenn Hoddle collection, he was the ultimate player for me and even when he was the manager of spurs and England in his 40s the players all said he was better than the players in training and made them look stupid.

Agree2 0Disagree

14 Nov 2017 19:55:20
I met Gazza a few times before he retired and every time there was a story to be told. mad as a fish. but a genius footballer.

he stole the coach whilst he was up North at he Boro. crashed it into all sorts.

generous bloke though, used to give loads to the kids.

What is the realistic possibility of Bale making a return to Spurs and would we want him. World class player but his injuries are a concern!

Agree0 0Disagree

13 Nov 2017 14:28:18
I wouldn't have bale back Ryan as I think his career will be ended soon with all the injury's he's having. I wouldn't swap dele Ali with him at the moment that's how high our current squad his at the moment. The one player who I would love at spurs from Madrid is Marcus ascensio who will become the best footballer in the world in a few years time.

Agree1 0Disagree

13 Nov 2017 18:58:27
Agree the money Or players Madrid would want for Bale wouldn’t be worth it.

13 Nov 2017 14:22:05
I know Ellis and it's a absolute travesty, with spurs not playing I'm getting my days all mixed up. I've got in touch with my local councillor to get these venues back open on Sundays as I'm so obsessed with the place. I go to Stringfellows after every spurs match but I spend Sunday evenings in London's Soho which I don't want to shout from the rooftops lol. My mother told me when I was a baby the first words to come from my mouth wasn't mummy and dadda but spurs and Stringfellows.

I hear they are bringing another movie out called cast away 2 starring wodbod, as soon as spurs win and Arsenal lose he goes missing big time. I bet he's on some deserted island wishing he was a Tottenham fan and wishing he had the lifestyle of the raver.

Agree5 1Disagree

07 Nov 2017 20:12:55
I think the eds have had enough of him raver, like the rest of us. The sensible option was to stop him from posting on here.

Agree5 1Disagree

07 Nov 2017 20:56:11
I had a feeling he's been banned Ellis as I was waiting for him to laugh at spurs only beating palace 1-0, it's called banter and I'm a right wind up myself but I know my boundaries. I also never have to worry about getting banned as I'm highly regarded and loved by the Eds.

Agree5 1Disagree

07 Nov 2017 22:15:05
I don't know that for sure fella, just a hunch. Like you said he goes missing simetimes when they lose and we win. His posts are tedious and deluded though, so I wouldn't be surprised if his posts are being deleted.

It's only a bit of banter.

Leahy, got to disagree there. Oddbod is repetitive and deluded. He says himself he thinks he is putting us in our place. This site is better off without him, on the spurs pages anyway.

Agree4 0Disagree

08 Nov 2017 23:30:06
Guys I’m still in NYC, flying back this Friday, but I have to agree with Ellis, the guy is so repetitive he brings nothing new to the debate. I love banter as does every fan. Dags is a top bloke. Who understands the game. Oddbod is just very childish at times and doesn’t give credit where its due. That’s what let’s him down, that’s only my opinion.

I'm off skiing Saturday for a couple of weeks. ⛷🏂🎿

Eds you should change the name of this site from spurs banter to the Thomas cook banter club, you've got Dr that is in new York more than the statue of liberty, and then you have north who does more skiing than Eddie the eagle. Then you have Ellis who has spent more time in Africa than Didier drogba and then you have the poor raver who never leaves London. It's the same thing every Saturday for me straight from Wembley to Stringfellows,

{Ed001's Note - I almost feel sorry for you raver. In fact, tomorrow morning when I am lying on the beach I will make sure to take a moment to reflect on how difficult life must be for you.}
