C’mon Ed’s / Ellis give me some updates who are we looking to bring in, and who are we looking to ship out.

Is our budget £100m (this is what I read somewhere) that’s without having to sell first how true that is I don’t know.

Cheer me up.

{Ed001's Note - it doesn't work like that with a budget. I don't have any news to add to what Ed002 has given recently (in his megasharkopod if I remember correctly).}

{Ed033's Note - Please listen to the Summer Megasharkopod transfer rumours - Ed002 starts off with Spurs.}

1.) 22 Jul 2018 22:46:28
Dr, nothing much that i haven't said before tbh.

I would say that Seessegnon getting promoted with Fulham was a big blow, that might mean Rose staying for another season if we don't get him and the chances of Fulham selling now are slim.

I would say its one of either Martial, Pulisic and Zaha. I know i said a few months ago we had dropped our interest in Zaha but it looks now that Zaha is refusing to sign a new contract so that's one to lookout for although i think Martial is Pochs most wanted.

Obviously if Alderweireld goes then a Cb will be needed.

Ndombele is wanted, that could be dependant on Dembele.

2.) 29 Jul 2018 16:20:57
What about Grealish. Did we ever put a bid in for hime or was it all paper talk?

3.) 29 Jul 2018 22:15:16
Dawj, i don't know mate. I get info off 2 people, one who is a scout and the other an agent. Neither of them have said Grealish to me, and i did ask, but that's not to say there isn't interest. It would make sense with the homegrown quota.

4.) 30 Jul 2018 08:15:01
News from SC is that Grealish is a now a no go!

5.) 03 Aug 2018 14:53:44
Wouldn't read SC mate, none of them know anything. I posted on there last year about our interest in Isco and one of the supposedly best 'itk's' on there called Jetset tried rubbishing it and i ended up getting banned. Bunch of muppets.

22 Mar 2018 17:06:36
Hello Ed’s. Any news on Toby. Something doesn’t seem right. Speculation about his departure in the summer. Have you heard of any inside information.

{Ed001's Note - if he doesn't sign the new contract he will be sold in the summer, so far he is not signing.}

1.) 22 Mar 2018 18:44:43
Topman Ed001 I feel that will be a big loss if he’s sold. Not really convinced with Sanchez. I know he’s young but nevertheless he don’t seem to read the game to well.

{Ed001's Note - I do not rate Sanchez at all. Physically superb but has no defensive mindset at all and is always out of position. Relying on pace to get you out of trouble only gets you so far. Oh and he is poor on the ball, which is why part of Man Utd's tactical plan in the Europa League final was to let him have the ball. To paraphrase the great Johan Cruyff: if you let their worst player on the ball have it, it will not be long before you get it back.}

2.) 22 Mar 2018 20:39:38
toby is going nowhere trust me on that.

3.) 03 Apr 2018 12:04:14
I wouldn't be so sure on that Stevieboy.!

4.) 09 Apr 2018 09:18:42
ED very harsh on Sanchez. Did you not see him against Chelsea for example. Still young and improving, and when Kovacic joins in the summer alongside Wanyama he will have engines in front of him.

Dembele and Dier will rotate and we will have the core we need. I have heard a rumour we will sell Toby and buy De Ligt as a replacement.

5.) 11 Apr 2018 13:56:01
There we go I'm losing hope of De Ligt now.

05 Mar 2018 12:47:34
I'm a little concerned that Toby is stalling on a new deal.

1.) 05 Mar 2018 20:58:26
I would imagine Levy is waiting to see if we get top 4 before offering a sizable wage increase, which is what it will take to keep him! Of course once he gets it every other 1st team player will want a hike too so its going to be costly. I can't see him leaving if we have champions league next year, even Levy won't be that tight?

2.) 06 Mar 2018 18:40:26
there's an offer on the table. Toby wanting more. maybe off in the summer.

3.) 10 Mar 2018 10:19:01
He wants more money and trophies, what’s wrong with that? Every player wants that, unless spurs improve and start winning trophies top players will leave.

4.) 10 Mar 2018 22:06:52
ha ha ha Odders, you'll be left with a 5 aside team this year then? And Ozil on £350k a week.

5.) 13 Mar 2018 17:18:07
NES are you saying Arsenal are full of top players then?

6.) 13 Mar 2018 23:01:35
No he isn’t saying anything of the sort. Arsenal are in a total mess with Bellerin, Cech, Koscielney, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Ozil the only decent players. That leave you 5 short of a decent first XI and 16 short of a proper squad.

Iwobi, Mustafar, Chambers, Holding, Mertesaker, Xhaka, Elneny, Wilshire, Lacazette and Welbeck are al Champioship level players.

Arsenal have an amazing manager who you will appreciate only after he is gone. You need to invest in your squad properly with some top quality players. Sadly this will be harder as each year in Europa football cements your mediocrity anc revenue generation.

If Arsenal can win the Europa Cup the glory days could return. Failure to win this trophy and Wenger will be off and the ability to attract any stars will be extremely difficult. Perhaps David Moyes will get the job and help destroy. The club once and for all.

01 Nov 2017 22:13:48
I didn't see the game as I’m away, raver. Ellis, NES, is Zidane getting the sack in the morning. C’mon you Lilly whites I bet Wembley was rocking.

1.) 03 Nov 2017 11:23:54
party night DR. hopefully continues. he he.

2.) 03 Nov 2017 11:26:05
oh it was rocking. great night.

28 Aug 2017 19:58:13
I read a rumour that we're in for Julian Draxler. PSG have also stated he can go. I'd be happy with that!

1.) 29 Aug 2017 16:15:21
I heard the same, apparently we are in for him and PSG need to balance their books due to Financial Fair Play. Fingers crossed!

Also Diop (Celta Vigo) and Kieta (Lazio) - not happening. Would rathe r we go all out for Draxler.

09 Aug 2018 17:08:03
i am fuming.

1.) 09 Aug 2018 17:41:31
Where are the spurs fans who say the new stadium will have no effect on transfers?

2.) 09 Aug 2018 17:50:22
First team not to sign a player in premier league transfer window, And raver wanted to brag about Arsenal signings and you couldn’t get anyone 😂😂

3.) 09 Aug 2018 23:13:13
Nothing to do with the stadium.

Like i said the other day we had our targets, couldn't get them, no point in buying for the sake of it.

Fulham being promoted blew our chance of getting Sessegnon.

Utd refused to sell Martial.

Lyon mucked us around with Ndombele and refused to sell in the end.

We could of gone out and brought Lichsteiner, Papadoupulous, Guendouzi, Torreria easily if we wanted, but none of them would get anywhere near our team. Its just you Oddbod fantasising and wanting spurs to struggle because of the stadium. It will happen again boy.

4.) 10 Aug 2018 08:55:57
Of course you could of got those players on smaller wages LOL, even poch has stated the cost of the new stadium was a reason.

5.) 10 Aug 2018 18:59:13
Bod just give up on trying to compete with Ellis Dee as he is way to smarter for you, as for having a pop at the raver you’re really jealous of me after I told you I turned down the part to play uncle Paul in Kevin and Perry go large.

6.) 10 Aug 2018 19:01:12
No, he said Brexit had increased the cost of the stadium. Which it has.

7.) 10 Aug 2018 20:24:30
So your saying Brexit had increased the cost of the stadium but the cost of the stadium has nothing to do with the transfers. Are you now saying the cost of the stadium has had an impact on transfers now? Just like I said it would.

{Ed033's Note - Eh? Isn't it that the Stadium caused Brexit and the lack of transfers has increased the cost of Brexit? :)

8.) 10 Aug 2018 21:40:32
Raver, Ellis smarter then me? Is that why he is now back tracking LMAO! Brexit was voted 2 years ago and only recently you said the stadium will not affect the transfers.

9.) 10 Aug 2018 21:57:23
Ellis, how has Brexit increased the cost of the stadium in the last 6 weeks when you argued “the stadium had no affect on transfers” to now saying “it has had an affect because of Brexit”?

10.) 10 Aug 2018 22:19:06
Water isn't wet because its a liquid that wets things. Once you come into contact with water you become wet. Until then water is liquid and you are dry. What you think Oddbod?

11.) 11 Aug 2018 09:20:17
Is that so raver can think you are still too smart? 😂😂😂.

02 Aug 2018 19:29:27
Strange one for me shipping out Toby, Danny, and Dembele, this are arguably 1st team starters, I know we argue the reasons why. But there’s other players that should be shown the door first in my opinion.

1.) 03 Aug 2018 11:25:06
Problem is DR, Toby wants £180k per week, we either sell now or Jan as he will go for £25m next summer.

Danny has clearly upset the hierarchy with his big mouth and hasn't been half the player since his injury, how on earth did Young keep him out the World Cup games.

Dembele is showing signs of age/ injuries etc can he keep up with what Poch requires from a central midfielder?

Agree that there are others that need to be moved on from a fans point of view.

2.) 03 Aug 2018 14:49:06
I think Alderweirelds beef is more to do with not playing when he came back from injury, rather than wages.

22 Jul 2018 10:34:22
Extending Lamela’s contract are we f. g serious. This player has done absolutely nothing at spurs.

1.) 22 Jul 2018 12:03:45
Finally you signed someone (must feel like a new signing) 😂😂😂.

2.) 22 Jul 2018 14:16:22
Looks like I was right, Toby does have one year left on his contract, will I get an apology?

3.) 22 Jul 2018 15:33:15
No your not mutton head. he has 1 year and the club can activate a further 1 year extension.

4.) 22 Jul 2018 22:43:43
Gunnerbod: Toby does have 1 year left on his contract
North East Spur: No mutton head, he has 1 year.

Just because the club can activate a year extension, doesn’t mean he has 2 years left on his contract. He currently has one year remaining on his contract, NES are you going to apologise for saying I was wrong?

5.) 23 Jul 2018 16:53:58
Dr lamela is a marmite player for spurs fans but I actually like him and I think he improved last season and will get better in time, I’ve also dined out in this players name as the raver is a spitting image of him but more muscular. I still remember walking down Oxford street in my spurs training gear and getting mobed by kids for autographs and selfies and I obliged as always.

6.) 23 Jul 2018 17:00:16
Mutton head, how does he have 1 year left if the club activate the extension in his contract.

Now I don't want an apology.

7.) 24 Jul 2018 19:59:53
Thats like saying Arsenal will win the league next year, if we win every game.

8.) 25 Jul 2018 17:43:35
How is it?

9.) 25 Jul 2018 19:58:02
You used the word IF.

10.) 25 Jul 2018 22:12:30
You need help.

11.) 25 Jul 2018 22:14:48
Does Toby currently have 1 year left on his contract YES or NO?

12.) 26 Jul 2018 12:27:06
Does 'Toby have a 1 year contract' is the question Mutton Head.

If you believe that a professional footballers contract is as black and white as what you post, you clearly are bonkers.

13 Jul 2018 17:11:54
I think we should have gone for Xherdan Shaqiri, £13m snip.

*Here is the official letter that all men must send their female partner by the latest June 13, 2018*

Dear Sweetheart;

The FIFA World Cup begins on the 14th of June.

During this period I won’t have a lot of time for you. It’s not that I’m cheating or no longer wish to be with you, but I will have to make ever effort to watch every single match.

I will not be attending any social events such as, weddings, funerals, parties etc. during this period so please *DO NOT ASK! . *

I know you see it as only 22 men chasing a ball but it’s absolutely important that you keep such thoughts to yourself and do not express them during this period.

Here are a few guidelines (I won’t call them rules although you know they are) to ensure a smooth and argument free month:

1. Don’t say it’s just a game because it’s not!

2. please limit or avoid walking during matches

3. The remote control remains with me all the time

4. You support the team I support. Not the team that has guys you think are cute

5. Kindly place your phone on silent

6. *Never, ever walk in front of the TV while am watching a match! *

7. World Cup is played by countries only so please don’t ask me which team is Arsenal

8. Finally, highlights are considered important as matches, and they are just as important as the match itself, so yes I must watch the highlights as well!

Thanks in advance, we look forward to your cooperation and your utter silence.

Sincerely yours,

signature and date

1.) 08 Jun 2018 12:00:56
Dr, can you edit one for Oddbod to send to his male partner?

2.) 08 Jun 2018 12:01:07
DR, you should have posted the signed version from your Mrs ;-)

3.) 08 Jun 2018 16:19:56
Dr., can you edit one for Ellis to send to his dog?

4.) 08 Jun 2018 17:09:20
Love it boys.

Ellis what’s your predictions mate? England 1st then who you think will win it

NES: same question

Raver. Same question

Oddbod: do one - ha ha only joking.

5.) 08 Jun 2018 19:09:12
Spain or Germany for me fella.

6.) 08 Jun 2018 20:09:32
Dr my wife behaves like that every day around the raver, I always tell her to crack on with the ironing, washing and cooking good protein foods for the ravers torso.

7.) 08 Jun 2018 20:11:24
Belgium or Argentina for me dr.

8.) 08 Jun 2018 20:13:27
Oddbod, that will be your mum then.

Dr, i think Germany have the best squad but im amazed Sane wasn't selected. I think Spain will win it with England the dark horses!

9.) 08 Jun 2018 21:27:27
Ellis total agree about Sane. I’ve been reading it’s not football related. He may have said something out of turn.

Spain and Germany have got to be there or there abouts.
I always back against England not saying their going to win it. But I feel this squad doesn’t have any player that’s a dead cert in their position which could be great. Long gone of the days when the papers pick the team like in the past with so called big teams players was a given. Lampard, Gerrard, etc I’ve been quite impressed by Southgate. Having said that. We’ll probably been on the plane home after 3 games.

Raver the Argies always under performed. Belgium will be brought down to earth. Hazard goes missing in big games.

10.) 08 Jun 2018 21:41:55
Ellis the good thing for England this year that the squad are going under the radar, I remember 1990 when the whole country put pressure on Gazza and then the same thing on David Beckham over the later years. This time there is no mega superstar and England are definitely dark horses.

11.) 08 Jun 2018 23:31:02
Brazil to win.

12.) 09 Jun 2018 00:01:37
Spain or Belgium.

13.) 09 Jun 2018 10:30:52
If England don't bottle it then they could do well. There aren't many teams we should fear but also tbere aren't many easy games either.

Argentina were lucky to even qualify, they have no chance imo. Im going to slap a bullseye on England at the bookies tomorrow, puts a little excitement into it then.

Topman Ed001, appriecate that update mate, so to make the night just right, Turn Utd over, sign Mahrez and Zaha. I’d be a happy man. We’ll know in a few hours. I’m leaning towards a disappointing evening.

{Ed001's Note - I would think it would be Mahrez or Zaha though mate.}

I’m a grate admirer of Mahrez Ed’s. Would we pay 60m for him though.

Why have you heard something Ed’s? 😏😏.

{Ed001's Note - Leicester are ready to get rid now, hence him out of the squad and you have been offered the chance to take him. No idea what your end have said but it is a possibility Levy will jump on it. It is his kind of deal, last minute, last-gasp. We all know he loves them!}

When we was 1st in for Zaha, I wasn’t to impressed but I stand corrected I think the boy has big potential.

But like you say. It would have been down by now. I guess we can hope until 23.00pm tonight. Zaha and Draxler I’d be happy with that.

{Ed001's Note - what about Mahrez?}
