I read a rumour that we're in for Julian Draxler. PSG have also stated he can go. I'd be happy with that!

DR-THFC

1.) 29 Aug 2017 16:15:21
I heard the same, apparently we are in for him and PSG need to balance their books due to Financial Fair Play. Fingers crossed!

Also Diop (Celta Vigo) and Kieta (Lazio) - not happening. Would rathe r we go all out for Draxler.

18 Aug 2017 19:38:38
Just reading this on another site that Poch wants to add another 4 signings before the window closes Ross Barkley, Juan Foyth, Julian Draxler, Serge Aurier.

DR-THFC

1.) 18 Aug 2017 19:49:19
Would like foyth as back up if wimmer leaves. And would like draxler or the lad from Barca

Still not sure on barkley and don't see the need in aurier he has a bad attitude and we have trippier and walker peters.

2.) 18 Aug 2017 20:10:02
Juan foyth is all wrapped up by Saturday night.

3.) 18 Aug 2017 20:16:07
No doubt you'll be getting a few wraps on Saturday night raver πŸ˜€.

4.) 18 Aug 2017 21:12:17
The raver not having wraps is like blakey not having buses lol.

15 Aug 2017 20:34:09
There seems to be some rumours coming out that we've agreed personal terms with Serge Aurier from PSG.

He must be taking a wage cut surely! πŸ˜€ Do we really need this guy! Is he that good?

Does he really want to come to Spurs or have the other clubs pulled out.

DR-THFC

1.) 15 Aug 2017 23:22:25
He has also agreed terms with about three other clubs.

2.) 16 Aug 2017 07:25:37
But do they pay top wages like us Ellis? πŸ˜€Ha ha.

3.) 16 Aug 2017 07:46:04
Apparently Danny Rose spoke to Levy and gave the all clear because he didn't have to google him.

07 Aug 2017 20:09:23
How about sell Dier for 50m and get Van Dijk,

Sell Lamela and replace with Di Maria.

DR-THFC

1.) 07 Aug 2017 22:12:46
Not sure that makes much sense to me, Doc.

Dier's great asset (aside from the fact the players all seem to love him) is that versatility that means he could play RB/ CB/ DM/ CM on Sunday, and do a good job in any of those spots. If we sold him, who would cover if Wanyama gets injured/ suspended or needed to be rotated?

Not sure Di Maria is a Poch player, although he's clearly a class act, I think we'd be better off with a younger, more malleable player (Lemar would have been perfect) .

2.) 07 Aug 2017 22:46:16
Agree with T-T-I-D. Makes no sense selling Dier when he forms such a strong part of the culture of the team (plus Deli and him are huge mates) , he has strong leadership and I think his versatility is under-rated.
As for Di Maria, absolute pie in the sky. He would need to take a considerable pay cut to come and I don't think he's a good culture fit for the he team in terms of personality.

3.) 08 Aug 2017 07:45:47
I hear what your saying lads. about good mates, but I'm sure he's head was slightly turned when UTD we're sniffing around, so there's the loyalty between friends out the window. (I know he hasn't left) but from what I read he wanted too or still does.

I said Di Maria because we still need a player to un-lock the door when people shut up shop against us. We seem to struggle at times in the final 3rd. Maybe he's looking at Barkley for that. Just to add if Wanyama got injured we could play Dembele there. Winks could also sit in there. I think we have options there.

{Ed001's Note - Dier's worry is getting enough first team football, he is unhappy at being behind Wanyama in the pecking order.}

4.) 08 Aug 2017 14:41:30
I'm not so sure he is ed. We play better football when he's nxt to dembele. Dembele pushes forward more. I think dier's downfall is his versatility. He covered right back, centre half played as a three at the back and also centre mid. The guys and lady I used to sit nxt to were of the same understanding. I think he's a better cdm than wanyama.

{Ed001's Note - he is behind according to the man who picks the team, who prefers Wanyama for some unknown reason.}

5.) 08 Aug 2017 15:09:20
Drthfc you do realise you CANNOT afford their wages or fees.

6.) 08 Aug 2017 18:29:46
Gunnerbod has subsequently just joined as an intern in the financial dept for the mighty spurs. Apparently Levy seen how much of a crush he has on Spurs that he's offered him a summer job. Levy calls it 'care in the community'

7.) 08 Aug 2017 23:14:07
Levy calls it the only person who is realistic.

8.) 10 Aug 2017 10:47:30
Dier is a great player but Wanyama has been outstanding.

31 May 2017 20:57:30
Just read this

Galatasaray are reportedly willing to snap up Tottenham Hotspur's Vincent Janssen for Β£17 million.

Probably paper talk if not I'd take that all day long.

DR-THFC

1.) 31 May 2017 23:12:19
Dr, I said this months ago, that Galatasary wanted him. Probably, hopefully has some legs in it.

2.) 31 May 2017 02:18:50
Janssen is cheap if he can replicate his Dutch form in Turkey.

3.) 01 Jun 2017 12:23:32
No way would I sell him just yet, at 22 years old and a season under his belt, he has to be worth another shot next season, Β£17m is a snip, if we were to sell surely levy would want more than that.

Also, why sell him for Β£17m and buy Gameiro (rumoured I know) for Β£26m makes no sense.

4.) 01 Jun 2017 14:02:37
If he has another bad season. You'll be lucky to get Β£12m - Β£15m for him. 22 year olds do score goals.

That's the gamble the club will have to make.

Snip at Β£17m for a player that's scored 1 goal in open play. So what is Kane worth then Β£493m based on my math @ 17m per goal.

5.) 02 Jun 2017 08:34:09
Dr, I thought he scored 2 in open play?, my about 17m being a snip is when you look at todays prices 17m for any 22 y/ o international, playing in a top a league is a snip IMO.

6.) 02 Jun 2017 09:35:06
Thfc4ever, your probably right mate, 17m for a Dutch international is a good price, maybe he'll come good. I may have been a bit to critical of the young lad. He looks like he gets frustrated a lot to me. But as you say it's only his 1st season.

7.) 05 Jun 2017 09:55:10
Janssen isn't good enough simple as that. He is a supporting player in my opinion who loves to pass, dribble and hold up the ball. Like to see him in the number 10 role for a few games behind Kane with Son LAM and Dele RAM.

As a natural CF in the Premiership he lacks the speed and technical ability and agility to be a top striker.

What a finish from Dzeko.

DR-THFC

1.) 18 Oct 2017 21:47:26
Fantastic finish Dr, it reminded me a bit like Paolo di canio at west ham but more central. I used to put them away like that for the dog and gun in my younger days.

2.) 19 Oct 2017 01:07:02
steady on Raver demasiadas cervezas espanolas πŸ˜‰.

3.) 19 Oct 2017 07:53:57
To add I thought it was a little like Van Basten. He met the ball sweet as a nut.

I also recall Van Persie hitting one like that for Man UTD, must be them Dutch boys on the Skunk.

4.) 19 Oct 2017 09:09:33
You make me laugh raver. I bet your like Peter Kay on that advert. Or the blind bloke that kicks the cat. Ha ha. Only joking mate.

5.) 19 Oct 2017 10:08:45
Correct Dr I was definitely like Peter Kay, the balls were going way over the bar and putting the near by house windows through. I nearly bankrupted the club as they had to pay for them to get repaired but the local glaziers loved me and used to buy me pints as they were making so much money from me.

04 Oct 2017 17:43:54
Kane is worth more than the entire Arsenal team, there's a fact Oddb0ll0cks.

DR-THFC

1.) 04 Oct 2017 18:37:57
How's that a fact then? He's not and that's a FACT! hahaha.

2.) 04 Oct 2017 18:40:35
now that's a top name. 🀑.

3.) 04 Oct 2017 18:42:43
Ellis and NES have tried and both failed, and now dr thfc has made a statement which is clearly not true so, it's not a fact πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

4.) 04 Oct 2017 19:53:21
Kane and Alli worth more than their entire squad, there's another fact amoeba brain.

5.) 04 Oct 2017 20:36:16
I'm aghast at some of oddjob's statements.

6.) 05 Oct 2017 00:12:09
That's because you cannot prove me wrong LMAO.

7.) 05 Oct 2017 06:03:39
Ellis, you sure you want to stand by that statement?

8.) 05 Oct 2017 14:20:15
Yes, its a fact.

9.) 05 Oct 2017 16:16:35
Next you'll be saying spurs are a bigger and more successful club πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

10.) 05 Oct 2017 17:45:16
Ellis, you also said "Arsenal are finished, take it from me finished" since that statement we have won 6 and drew 1 LMAO πŸ˜‚.

11.) 05 Oct 2017 18:51:36
Oddbod, do you realise the panic and anxiety going around the Arsenal board at the moment over the very real possibility of not getting Champions League football again this season? Have a think of the implications. πŸ‘‰ Finished.

12.) 05 Oct 2017 22:08:34
Oddjob is bating you all whilst sitting in front of his computer with a pack of haribo and his favourite telly tubby on his knee. the similarities between him and Wenger are uncanny. yes oddjob you are a melt and no I don't have any class. nor do I need any. I come across lads like you everyday where i work. absolutely no common sense who's best attributes are toilet sanitary. oh hang on that makes sense as that's where you were dropped off!

13.) 08 Oct 2017 17:44:29
You must work at the Tottenham dole office then!

30 Sep 2017 14:43:29
Nice little result that. He's absolutely class Kane, both footed, can score all sorts of goals.

Deli has gone off the ball IMO, still we march on.

DR-THFC

1.) 30 Sep 2017 18:27:04
agree DR. We have a tricky October coming up.

2.) 30 Sep 2017 21:10:55
Agreed boys, a good result especially after an away game in the CL. What more can you say about H? Just the 16 goals in the last 7 away games!

20 Sep 2017 20:47:08
Plenty of empty seats
Certainly looks like Arsenal are struggling to sell seats for the game.

We could well be on for a record-low competitive Arsenal game attendance since the Emirates opened.

Huge areas of empty seats inside the ground.

DR-THFC

1.) 20 Sep 2017 21:00:35
That was for the wally who always posts LMAO, if your not sure who that is. He's the closet spurs fan. Namely Spursbod.

2.) 20 Sep 2017 23:41:21
Love it DR. πŸ‘.

3.) 20 Sep 2017 22:04:23
44k fans at the emirates tonight, nearly twice as many fans than spurs managed to attract. Raver you said you can guarantee the emirates will be half empty tonight, wrong again! Drthfc you do know you sold less seats even with the attraction of Wembley, and raver claims you have the biggest fan base in London. LMAO πŸ˜‚.

4.) 21 Sep 2017 00:06:55
NES if you say someone talks nonsense then back it up with quotes that prove it, by trying to answer it with a question makes you look stupid!

5.) 21 Sep 2017 07:34:48
Oddbod, Arsenal have been well known to lie about attendances last season they said they had 800 empty seats against Sunderland you take a look even Stevie Wonder could see there were more empty seats than that. Now that's a FACT.

Before you come back with a stupid comment google it. It's true.

{Ed001's Note - it is not a lie, attendances are a tax thing and they have to say the number of seats sold, not how many people are actually attending. Season tickets can be unused for years, in some cases, but the owner just keeps buying it out of fear of never being able to get one again. So that seat would be empty on the TV screen but not for attendance figures.}

6.) 21 Sep 2017 07:55:31
There you go again oddbod, when have I ever said that you talk 'nonsenses' again for the 3rd time referring to a post that I have posted?

I have stated you post dribble, many a time.

So again who is the stupid one?

7.) 21 Sep 2017 07:57:59
I've answered the question oddbod but you seem unable to absorb the information which I have posted.

8.) 21 Sep 2017 08:25:44
Agreed Eds, but never the less an empty seat is an empty seat regardless. Really this is taking the seat away from a real fan who maybe on the waiting list and who wants to go week in week out.

{Ed001's Note - I agree, in Liverpool there is such a huge waiting list for season tickets that those fans who have them refuse to give them up and you can sometimes see gaps where they don't bother going to every game and haven't found (or looked for) someone to take the seat. Very frustrating and unfair on those on the waiting list. Not sure what can be done though.}

9.) 21 Sep 2017 08:21:28
It would be interesting if clubs confirmed both the tickets sold and attendance separately.

10.) 21 Sep 2017 08:43:40
Increased season ticket fee for none attendance over a percentage of the games?

11.) 21 Sep 2017 10:49:49
Wodbod last season we created the biggest attendance ever for a premier league team in having over 90 000 fans in the champions league. Apart from Barnsley we have had bigger attendances every match so far this season lmao.

12.) 21 Sep 2017 17:11:02
Perhaps they could introduce a system if your seat is empty for a certain amount of games you lose it.

13.) 21 Sep 2017 20:24:21
We had 90,000 fans in the fa cup final raver, your point being?

14.) 21 Sep 2017 20:58:10
Adele had 98000! All spurs fans (I made the last bit up) 😜.

15.) 21 Sep 2017 21:30:05
You didn't wodbod Chelsea had 45 000 along with your 45 lol, the raver goes 1 up yet again it's like taking a spliff of a Jamaican with you wodbod.

16.) 22 Sep 2017 11:19:51
So your saying the away team didn't bring any fans to Wembley in the champions league then and it was all 90,000 spurs fans LMAO.

13 Sep 2017 07:49:23
Got my ticket for tonight. Let's hope we get the 3 points and play at a high tempo straight from the off.

DR-THFC

1.) 13 Sep 2017 10:35:18
Me too, I'll be near my normal seat.

I think we'll struggle. The larger pitch suits BVB's quick, direct style but I think Davinson Sanchez could bring something to the match and the side that brings us up to another level of solidity. Jan, Toby and Davinson all at CB with Dier offering his cool head and defensive mentality can make us terrifically solid. We'll miss Dele tonight, but Son will be eager to show off what he can do against German opposition.

COYS.

2.) 13 Sep 2017 13:49:16
I've got a feeling we will win 3-1 tonight with Kane scoring twice and eriksen with the other, I feel a lot better with the squad after we strengthened big time last week with foyth, llorente, aurier, Sanchez coming in. I also feel we will be a major threat to the Manchester clubs for the league title, I say bring them all on the raver and spurs are waiting for you.

3.) 13 Sep 2017 13:54:43
I've got a good feeling about tonight, I think we'll edge a tight game 1-0. We really need to win our first 2 games with the double header against Real Madrid to follow.

4.) 13 Sep 2017 16:27:18
Got my seat in the sports bar, Crete. COYS. another Mythos Kristos.

5.) 13 Sep 2017 18:50:14
Major threat to Manchester clubs for league title, raver your jokes are better than dags! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

6.) 13 Sep 2017 21:56:04
We are the real deal this year wodbod and just like the food chain MacDonalds, I'm loving it lol.

Agree with T-T-I-D

He's apologised, Everyone deserves a 2nd chance.
He made a mistake - We should move on.

Although - I'm not sure he will be at the club hence a lot of talk about Ryan Sessegnon, why would we be renewing our interest.
