Just heard, not sure how true this is, but iv been told we have asked for marcelo and mezut otzel ( sorry for spelling ) as part of the bale deal plus a few £££££ million, like I said this is what iv just been told. sounds fair enough to me I would be happy with that if this is true!
1.) Both good players but can't see them joining us. It does not matter anyway I want bale to stay no matter how much dosh. With him at the club along with new signings and some more who knows a real title challenge could be on the cards. We must keep bake though
2.) This sound like it's been made up on the rumour mill. Along with 99% of the comments on here!
3.) Cant believe how many fans have completely ignored what avb has come out and said about bale not leaving. I think we forget how wanted he is as a manager on a global scale. Selling bale may lead him to leave. We also have promised paulinho that bale stays. I think peopple read into the press too much. Nothing has really happened over the window so they're making it more entertaining. If i'm wrong then oh well
4.) Player exchange deals need the players to want to move. Ozil will not move to Spurs
5.) What a load of tosh. We have to keep hold of Bale for me, no matter what money, this season at least.
6.) Mesut ozil and marcelo together are probably worth more than bale. next it'll be 'we want ronaldo and casillas plus one billion'
7.) All of this is based on the 'tv' - it's effectively chinese whispers! some woman at sky says she's been told by someone who knows gareth bale that he's not happy with avb and suddenly this 'scoop' is ! i'm sure information will come out of the club when there is any information to give. until then, take the ' ' stuff with a pinch of salt
8.) Man utd fan here and I think if spurs hold on to bale and sign a striker then you'll have a great chance at winning the title this season.

9.) Decent comment KM, I feel the same. Feel it'll be a interesting season at the top this year. What's your opinion on United's chances with Fergie gone? Don't get me wrong I think Moyes is a good manager just interested to know the thoughts of United fans.

I feel if we can sign two strong cm's then we have a great chance. I was always hoping we would go for Moyes since Pep went to bayern. I think Fellani and young McCarthy from wigan would be two good signings.

Any truth in suarez to spurs, to re place bale? I doubt it but heard a few people mention this yesterday! I hope its true!
1.) Don't get carried away with the Suarez issue.
He will only go to a CL team
2.) Personally wouldn't want Suarez even on a free, quite frankly I hope he leaves the EPL all together. Our league does not need players like him, the constant diving alone is a disgrace to our good game. I hope the EPL becomes tougher on any behaviour that devalues the integrity of the sport regardless of who they are or what club they play for. {Ed004's Note - I'm not trying to start a fight or argument and I agree suarez is a hateful individual but there are many players that dive in the premiership and you have Bale who has been ridiculed by many pundits for it this season}
3.) I'm not original poster but I agree with his comments about Suarez. I'd feel sick if I saw him in a Spurs shirt. Your right about Bale Ed its a disgrace when he dives. Like other poster said, no matter who or what team they play for they should get punished. Bale included!
4.) I'm the original poster and the response above is spot on ed- Anyone, any team. Every game is televised and every game can be reviewed, if the FA took a post game review and heavy penalty stance, couldn't help but feel the EPL would further position itself as the best league in the world. Cheating should not part of our game whatever form it comes in. {Ed004's Note - I agree I will never defend a dive and we've had many a player do it at united (Nani, Ronaldo etc) and I think they should be punished after the game though it is difficult as sometimes minimal contact (clipping someone's heels etc) is enough to bring some down whereas a slight tug of the shirt isn't}
