Coulihurst being recalled from Loan with Leyton Orient. Now he is a player that is rated. It would not surprise me if that he joins up with the first team as cover.

The Rabbit

1.) His name is Coulthirst, and I agree he looks very decent indeed. That hat-trick against Barcelona in the Nextgen Series was spectacular, and he is one option I would love to see upfront with Adebayor.

2.) I do agree that coulthrist would be a good addition to the first team but we also have the youngster coulibaly who played with him in the youth squad who also looks an incredibly good young talent

3.) Shaq is way in front of coulibly at the moment

Spurs to sign Benteke for £23m on a 5 year contract worth £85K a week. He'll get Number 9 Shirt.

Source Spurs Dreamer Blogspot.

The Rabbit

1.) Its £25m mate, not £23m or £24m - its £25m!

2.) 23 mil, where did you get this from,
The London press again.

Like the guy above said its 25 mil mate.

villadave

3.) How bout 24. 5? Bet he goes for bout 18m! Villa not gona say no to 18m on deadline day, the guy doesn't want to be there! Nothing worst than trying to keep a player that doesn't want to be there! Can't blame him really.

4.) 20 million spurs will pay and no more

5.) I believe its 18m with add ons taking it to 22m.

6.) Deluded again.

I hope you get him the way he conducts himself, not a loyal player at all.
Has his head turned too easily, if you get him and don`t win anything, he will leave you just the same.

But believe me it will be 25m, make no mistake.

villadave

7.) Oh I didn't realize this was where levy and lerner did their negotiations

you guys are hilarious

RY

8.) What is it with Villa fans? Do you ever visit your own page or just sit on our site waiting for someone to mention Benteke? You're starting to embarrass yourselves now!
KMB

9.) Can you villa fans just stick to your own page? Your nearly as bad as liverpool fans :L Benteke will leave and you will become a championship club. Simple as that.

The difference between Aston Villa and Spurs is that if Bale left spurs we would be attract big names that can fill in the gap bale left. If Benteke leaves Villa will be stuck with signing unheard of players that will either not make much of an impact or having one good season then leaving to a better team.

Your team is going to s***s deal with it on your own page - not ours.

10.) Cant blame benteke for wanting to leave Aston Villa. Would of have been relegated without him

11.) You can't say a team would be relegated without a player because in all honesty - you can't prove it right or wrong.
Can you please stick to your own page Villa fans, I know it hurts to lose your best players (yeah, we have e.g Modric) but you have to move on! I think Villa are building something great and will be a decent side next season but can you please stick to your own page? Thanks!

12.) I think the 18m price is fair for a sriker having had such a brilliant first year in the prem. The added 4m will be justified if his second year is as good.

13.) As a spurs fan I would have to disagree with the poster that said 'if bale leaves we will attract big names to cover him'. I have been a fan for 30+ years and cannot remember another player of bales caliber signing for the club with the exception of kinsman and he was over 30. In the last few windows we have been turned down by Aguero, moutinho, damiao, villa etc. bit of realism please! We are a big club but do not have the pull of the likes of real, Man Utd, barca or the money of chelski, s***teh, Monaco. But we are on the up! The league will be wide open this year and I urge levy to invest in the striker we have needed since berby left! I personally don't want benteke he's been trouble for his last two clubs and I think he would only see us as a stepping stone to a bigger club.

14.) Just so you spuds know, Benteke is an avid arsenal supporter.

15.) Well the gooners can have him. By the way, it means nothing.
Walcott is a Liverpool fan.
Bergkamp was a spurs fan.
They go where the deals are.

Lamela makin a few good runs in only 18 mins.

The Rabbit

1.) Still not good enough though is it. We are playing poop, again and its painful to watch. Eriksen in particular is feeble tonight.

2.) I had a feeling Lamela would score! He looks awesome tonight, you can see his confidence growing.

3.) Now Lamela has given us a penalty and Defoe has scored. Boy is this guy amazing!

Not an Oracle lover BUT.

Scenerio if West Ham relagated, would they actually need/could afford the staduim. Northumberland Park Project seems to have stalled recently as only Sainsburys if open and Spurs have appointed new Architects. why is this when everything was ready.

Not saying anything but somethings is not adding up with NPP at the moment.

I think I know why we have signed so many players! The Oracle is Levy in disguise! No chatting and we have signed so many players. Conincidence?!

Bernard doesn't want to go to Russia, expect him to join either Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea. If he joins Spurs then Bale is definately sold in my opinion.

This is what I thought until I heard it could be £8M plus add ons which sounds more feasible although abit toppy for a 31 year old.

I was not happy that Walcott didn't at least get a fine or a punishment for his gesture but am pleased that Karma has biten him on the arse and he is out for 6 months. Hopefully he'll recover in time for World Cup!

As predicted Sherwood would be the manager, and I believe I said this before AVB was appointed that if Sherwood would be manager after AVB.

Sherwood will be a quality manager.

Sherwood will be manager. I said this before AVB was appointed that he would be next in line after the next appointment. He is being fast tracked and will be caretaker Manager. I would also expect Chirs Ramsey to have to greater role in the club than just a coach, as he is well respected in the game.

Tim Sherwood until end of season I reckon.

I've seen the tweet. Completely disgrateful! I still belive AVB can turn this around. We have bought a lot of players and they are still settling in. Losing Bale was a big blow and we are still recovering. Once we get going and play the Spurs way we will be unstoppable. Trust me, we are going through a lot of pain and the moment but the glory will come. Just give him time. Fryers was a lot better than Naughton and expect to see him start more. Just one plus today!

The Rabbit

{Ed008's Note - Agree Fryers was a huge improvement, Naughton should have been taken off before h/t he's just a shocking player atm probably due to confidence..
