Davo,

"Alderweireld is twice as good as Koscielny".

You been sharing a crack-pipe with Raver? :-)

You can't measure it but Alderweireld is definitely better.

Agree with rayray, alderwereld is a much better player than any arsenal defender. What's next giroud better than Kane, Wilshire better than alli. You are slipping faster down the table than hugh Heffner's pants.

And how do you both work that out?

Ali V Jack? Ali plays Jack doesn't no contest 1 0 to you
Giroud or Kane? Kane would get you 50 million I don't think Olly would get us anywhere close to that. 2 0
Kos v Alderwereld? Kos every time for me 2 1
Mertesacker v Your kit man 3 1 to you
Ozil v Ericsson? :-)
Sanchez v any 2 you care to mention :-)
Loris v Cech? :-)
Shall we continue?

I think your getting a little carried away there lads. Current form. Yes.! But Wiltshire hasn't played. Ali has a long way to go yet. Wiltshire is needed for England that's for sure.

I just think he is better dags, as do a lot of people. At the moment we have the best defence in prem, haven't said that before! a lot of that is down to Alderweireld.

DR,
You are always the voice of reason. Well played.

Rayray, as a partnership, Alder and Vertonghen are better than Kos and Mertesacker, but my arthritic Nan is better than Mertesacker.

Granted, your 2 are the best centre half partnership in Prem, I have said that many times, but neither are better than Kos (not much in it, but definitely not better) .

And you can't compare Wilshere to Alli. Wilshere hasn't kicked a ball all season.

Of course I can compare them dags, because I'm on about Wilshere's whole career so far not just this season.

Gunner are you suggesting that Cech is better than Lloris? Not now he ain't, no chance. Plus to be fair to Eriksen he is hitting form again and is creating a lot of assists, more than Ozil at the moment :)

Rayray,
Wilshere is a total disappointment.
If fit, a very decent player, but never fit.
I also think (controversially) , he plays better for England than Arsenal.

But, you can't compare Wilshere to Alli. A few more seasons, maybe.
It's like comparing Vardy to Shearer, time will tell.

Lloris better than Cech?
That's just wrong on so many levels.

I don't support either of your teams so here is my unbiased view -

Kos > Alderweireld
Alli > Wilshere (he's playing better than Jack has ever played)
Kane > Giroud (no brainer)
Lloris = Cech (there's nothing in this at all)

Sanchez is the most explosive player in the league and Spurs don't have a player like him. Ozil is having a great season (though assist bollocks doesn't matter at all. search youtube for the Tom Carroll assisting Bale vs West Ham for an example of why - it's hilarious) .

Arsenal probably have more talented players but at the moment Tottenham are better. This comes down to Pochettino who is doing starting to make this team special.

Id take Kos, Ozil and Sanchez to Tottenham all day long.

Though I'd struggle on current form to break up the Toby/ Verts partnership. Adding players of the quality of Ozil and Sanchez would put us over the top and one can only hope that Levy and MoPo realize this.

I think Aguero has to be the above Sanchez if i'm honest on most explosive player in the league, the way the league has panned out this season you'd have to add Vardy to that as well. Agree with YC they'd be in my team all day long.

Eriksen is nowhere near that level yet, personally I don't think he ever will be. It's very rarely you see Sanchez go missing in games he's a real live wire, makes things happen. That's what Eriksen needs to do / be.

Eriksen is a totally different player to Sanchez though. I enjoyed his tackle for the 3Rd goal against Norwich.

Apologies I based this on players that have / should have impacts on games. They both have freedom to roam if you like. Or at least were purchased to play that role.
