Really strong and fiery comments by Rose. He doesn't seem too happy that Walker has gone to a team with double the salary and which spends a couple hundred mil every every year.

MU fan here just curious to what you thought of roses interview it was a pretty stinging attack on your club. Does he have a point though?

He shouldn't of vented it the way he did though.

Date, he does have a point but Rose would be naive to think Spurs would spend lots more money and give him 200k a week. He may want out or something else and we don't have all the information to form an opinion, but I'm pretty unhappy that he mouthed off whatever to the Sun.
It surely won't go down well with all Spurs fans and majority of football fans.

Rose has only become a decent reliable LB after working with Poch. He's been given the opportunity to grow at Spurs and I don't think the way he's conducted himself is right. If you want a move then do it professionally. I believe Poch comments regarding having the best days out of Walker to be true! I think 1 more year out of rose and we would have seen the best out of him and he can go! I have said this before but you look at the players who have moved on from Poch's sides. Shaw, Schnederlin, Lovren etc they have all failed to live up to there expectation. Maybe Poch is such a good man manager he knows how to get the best out of them where others fail. I'd even go as far as saying Shaw and some cash for Rose! I'd rather not have the toxicity in the dressing room as it creates an environment where other players will think to do the same!

As a MU fan I'd be extremely disappointed if we gave you shaw and cash for rose I see why you'd want that though Rose has been solid for you but if and it's a big if shaw can get up and running then he's got the potential to be the best left back in the prem. I'd take Rose all day long but I what he said in that interview was massively unprofessional. Also I see Rose as a better player than walker so what fee would Levy demand.

The thing about Rose is that he probably is the most complete LB in the league but I fear injuries will sideline him a lot in the future but the only way I'd want to part with him would be to get Shaw from Manchester United in return. I doubt he'd go to Chelsea as the comments about being back up North and the fact I doubt Tottenham would entertain any bid from them. Shaw has worked with Poch and I believe he can regain his Southampton form under him. Difference between Spurs and Utd is that players are given more time and thre is less pressure. Plus we have another sturdy LB in Davies. He may not be a world beater but he's reliable!

I made the point a couple of weeks ago that Spurs appear to be at a crossroads. Young exciting team, right up there, but potentially will lose players due to the salaries on offer. Well done on getting £50M for Walker but what happens when Ali gets his head turned with £250k a week on the table.

It's a tough one, I think Levy has to have a reality check, it's ok getting big fees for your players but not if it weakens you. If he changes salaries then It think Spurs can take that final step.

AJH, I believe with the new stadium we will be able to compete and I would go as far as saying ENIC will probably look for a big buyer. The problem with Rose is that he was happy to sign a new 5 year contract yet comes out and slates the club. Gary Neville has got it bang on when he said he has shown no professionalism and the fact he's still injured makes it all the more deplorable from a fans perspective. Tottenham/ Poch made Rose the player he is and the reason he is gaining so much attention from other clubs. The least he could do is show a little respect. I get that players are transient and have no real loyalty to any club they sign for but it's totally unprofessional to give an interview like he did. Maybe he's bored being out injured!

I fully agree with Danny rose that spurs have zero ambition, if I was a top player there I'd want out as well. We are never going to win the league or a European cup as long as we are in the top 6 levy's a happy man. Levy could have made a big statement this summer in bringing in 3 top class players for to to win the league and he's done the absolute opposite.

I'm also fed up of using google to see what cheap and crap players we are linked with, I urge all fans to start chanting levy out at all games this season and let's hope some new owners will take over to take spurs to the next level, psg owners are very welcome to take over lol.

Spurs don't have a divine right to win the league just because you support them, Raver. The club has improved dramatically over the last 5/ 6 seasons, and that's because it's been well run. We're also getting a new stadium that won't even put us in debt. Keep the faith. I have little respect for fans that say they refuse to buy a season ticket unless the club makes a marquee signing; they're the same fans that then moan that the season ticket price is too high! I've got my season ticket and I'll be at Wembley whether we're starting Danny Rose or Ben Davies, Dele Alli or Ross Barkley. We will win trophies our club continues to be run properly, but I repeat, just supporting a team doesn't mean that they have to be champions!

Spud, The issue what most fans are saying, we are so close to becoming a team who can challenge. We we're in a very similar position under Harry. I'm not expecting to win the league, but I can assure you if we don't buy quality we're going to fall down the league rapidly. We have to take into account our rock for the last few seasons has been WHL that's now gone.

Totally different challenge now. I've said it before we'll be lucky to get top 6. Then players will leave. Buy Rose's comments he hasn't just thought I'd come out and say it. I bet a few players at Spurs are un-happy and said go on Danny you say what we're all thinking.

I hear you Dr. I think you make good points, as ever, but I disagree that we'll be lucky to get top 6. As long as we can keep players happy and at the club, we can challenge. Having a settled squad is an advantage, not a disadvantage. Yes, we need to strengthen, but we don't need anything drastic. Also, note the fact that there isn't a single quote in the press this morning (yet. ) of any other players being disillusioned with Spurs. At the moment, it's just press fanfare.
