On another website it says as part of the deal struck between Galatasaray and Inter, a 5 million penalty clause would come into effect if Sneijder signed for a different club during the January window, if that's true can't see him coming can you?

What do you think ed {Ed001's Note - I think he is a possible fall back option, but I don't see him as first choice, it seems very much that Spurs want Moutinho.}
Agree2
Disagree1
The Clause galatassary have says inter can't negotiate with another club until 19th Jan, or they receive 5ml compensation. That doesn't stop sneijders agent from negotiating tho.
I wouldn't be surprised if we did sign him, it has levy written all over it. I think the moutinho deal is dead james rodriques has been ruled out injured for a month, so can't see porto going into CL knock-out game v malaga missing rodriques & without moutinho.
A lot of whispers that Drogba is to sign a 2yr deal with juventus, that might open up possibility of llorente.. well hoping anyway.

I got a feeling We're going to sign Snijder, it has the Hallmarks of a Levy deal all over it, I know he commands a high wage but with his transfer fee reportedly being around the £7mil mark we could easily offer him £90-100 grand a week and a big sign on fee say £4-5 mil with the total initial payments being around the £12mil mark would probably be cheaper than say Moutinho or Willian for a player of proven quality would be surprised if Levy didn't make his move

Well put..or knowing Levy he'll pay the 8m Euros, give him a 4/5m signing on fee and not have to break our wage structure. 70/80k a week and we'll be laughing. Vdv must have said some beautiful things about us.

Heard a rumour PSG bid 90m for bale but seen nothing anywhere even though it was reported as ssn . Thinks it is bogus, ed any news? if any one could stump up that much would be them.
Ant {Ed008's Note - If a 90m bid was made Levy would accept it straight away! No truth in whatsoever seems made up!
Believable3
Unbelievable9
Ed is dead right, Levy would accept £90m instantly and rightly so but, the trouble is it wouldn't go back out on players and wages to improve the team. We'd probably get a couple of signings of no more than £12-15m, neither likely to be proven goalscorers, just capable bodies at best then it's another £50-60m to go in the coffers along with the profit from the past few transfer windows.
Agree5

Of course money is going to the 'coffers' - football is a business after all. However I'm confident the majority of profit is being sunk into the new stadium and paying off new training facilities don't you think?!
Agree7
Disagree2
Yes, I wasn't referring to the coffers as a greedy Levy abyss, just that the team will not be the priority for investing big sums of profit.

and an end to further speculation. Damiao and Moutinho will join in January, Zaha, Willian, Sneijder and others will be dropped as targets.
With Moutinho and Damiao coming in we will see Livermore join Harry on loan for the relegation battle. With Huddlestone, Dawson, Adebayor and the normal pretenders Jenas & Bentley all possible transfers out.

Funny how he mentions Livermore to QPR a couple of days after Harry did.
Do you have any genuine rumours of your own oracle.
No.....thought not!!

Why get rid of Dawson best defender by far ?
Agree5
Disagree6
If the guy knew anything at all he would know Bentley has no intention of leaving until his contract expires because he knows he will never get another one like it again, also Damiao and Moutinho aren't going to happen only realistic target(s) imo would be one of either Willian or Snijder, I do agree we need a striker but got a feeling Levy will leave us all waiting another window before we get that striker we've all been waiting for since Berbatov left
Lee

If Shaktar Donetsk are up for selling it looks like Tottenham may sign up willian. Sneijder may want to come to spurs but don't think spurs are interested at this stage. Wages would be an immediate problem. Moutinho situation has gone quiet and Damaio may happen but seems complicated
Agree2
Disagree3
If you are so sure about Damiao & given that you have declared it a definite for Jan window since last window closed( you claimed it was a done deal in summer also) what's the delay if It's been agreed, Liverpool had a deal done for sturridge out of window & he signed 2nd day of window, so that tells me no deal was struck for Damiao when you claim it was.
One more question for you Oracle who negotiated in summer with Damiao/internacional for Tottenham?

Espur most of your posts are on the Spurs banter and dodgy rumours pages, stick to those pages.
Wait for Damiao and Moutinho and soon you'll be another believer. Then when we end up in the Olympic stadium and you all realise I was a genius, I will then stop posting when you are begging for more.
ED don't you worry, I love you and will keep in touch.
