Hi ed's, now that we have unbelievably completed the signings of Lamela, Eriksen, and Chiriches; would you expect that to be it for us now or is there any chance we could still look to bring in a new left back? {Ed008's Note - I think Rose will be given his chance all depends if Coentrao is part of the Bale deal, club haven't been able to shift Assou-Ekotto he needs to go.

1.) Haha with this transfer window being the best ever I think in a few seasons we will be bullying real madrid. bring on sunday, tottenham will miss breakfast because we gone feed on arsenal.
COYS93

2.) Im not a spurs fan, but an admirer of the club. You have definitely one of the top 3 squads in the league, possibly top 2. Over-taken arsenal haha they don't stand a chance against you now you have lamella erikson soldado chadli and ALL the other great signings! TEAM TO WATCH

3.) Will take time for the new players to gel. I think first target is to try to get more points than last season. I think next season will be more realistic for a title challenge. personally I think we have gone this far why not just do the complete squad makeover in one window. I think adebayor has to go therefore requiring another forward and a right back to put some decent pressure on walker. I thing mcnaughton is constantly an accident waiting to happen

Christian Erikson has been given permission to hold talks with spurs.
What an unbelievably good side we have started to put together here!

Gardner203

1.) Hold your horses. He is a key player for Ajax and is always in the starting line up. At Spurs he is bound to be a regular yes, but he is going to have to share his role with others on a slight rotation basis. He may not fancy being thrown on to the subs bench when he could be elsewhere getting more game time. I really hope he goes for it and I don't see why not. I'm not the manager so I could be totally wrong. Competition is good for that position he plays but he might not like the being on the side that much.

Fingers cross boys.

DeeDee

2.) But besides me saying all that. You are right Gardner, what a talented side is being built!

3.) I'm an lfc fan and all I can say is great work in the transfer window I was wondering how you would replace bale but wow I'm shocked to say the least some good players with potential to get better baldini has been a top top appointment and once the bale deal goes through to be in credit even with your signings good buisness I think once they all bed in only way is up for you guys good luck for sunday

Giblet

4.) I reckon if bale stayed and all the players bought in you would win the prem

Is it just me or is anyone else starting to get really frustrated with the team selections of Tim Sherwood? We have 4 central midfielders starting against newcastle! The only positive is Dawson has been dropped in favour of Kaboul.

Gardner203

1.) No not really as Dembele' best position is just behind the main striker and if you look at how they set up it was more of a 4-3-3 when attacking and a 4-5-1 when defending, thought the selection was a clever change by TS only thing I was disappointed with was not playing eriksen, but it all turned ok the end

Erik Lamela has been left out of the Roma starting 11 tonight. Sounds like a good sign for Spurs

Gardner203

1.) Hearing that the Gooners are now sniffing around Lamela. FFS get the deal done.

2.) Thankfully they now want di maria for £25.8m I heard, they can take that rat of a man as long as we get lamela- lamela is much better and younger and is more versatile and a score. COYS

3.) "Rat of a man" is that because he turned down spurs and wanted to go to a big club?

4.) "big club"

5.) A big club that plays champions league football! How are spurs classed as a big cub? What does your history tell you? What have you achieved in recent years?

6.) No in terms of CL teams Spurs are not a "big club" but in terms of every team in say the top 3 leagues I think you'll find Spurs are very much a "big team". The problem is CL teams cannot tell the difference and Spurs fans want so much to be amongst the top teams in Europe. Thing is everyone can tell Spurs should be taken seriously but opposing fans will use the fact spurs are not a "big team" to try and belittle THFC but Spurs fans aren't bothered with these tactics as we know times are changing and very soon Spurs will be a regular CL team. Enjoy it whilst you can because it will not last. The mighty spurs are on the up!
