Ed, Agree with your comments about how good we were in topping our group in CL but how do you explain our pathetic performances of late? Why are the 6 teams above us not in the same boat?
Man U always seem to get more out of a game then they deserve ie. 3-1 today and Arses created dozens of chances. They drew with pool, beat us even though we had the higher possession %.
Why is Deli and Erickson not "turning up"? If they did not turn up playing for United, they would be dropped immediately and have difficulty getting back.
There is something wrong. I just hope we get it sorted soon.

{Ed0333's Note - For me Deli is over indulging with hubris. From what I’ve seen with Erickson he’s trying but it’s not happening for him. I honestly think you didn’t buy well in the summer maybe that has had an impact. One thing for sure is that if there was any coach in world football I’d want to turn my teams slump around it would be Poch. I really rate him and I hope he can work some magic and start winning again. I would think you may go into the transfer market in January and you have to get that spot on.

Davinson Sanchez was a great signing. Until the last few games he has been very good and easily one of the best young centrebacks around.

I agree on Sanchez but Aurier isn’t better than Walker so in that sense we’ve gone backwards. We need to buy Marhez in January to give Deli a kick up the arse.

If you look at La Liga and bundesliga Real Madrid and Dortmund aren’t doing so well, 4th and 6th respectively in weaker leagues, not taking away from your performances but they aren’t the teams of old (real know so and are planning some big changes to the squad) . So these teams aren’t as good as they have been in the past, giving fans a false sense of where they should be? You deserve to be top of your group and you’ve earned that position but it’s a different game against a watford a stoke a Burnley, not saying they’re better teams but approach the games differently and set up quite well against teams such as yourselves. Form is temporary and I think there is enough class in your squad for a decent cup run and top 6, top 4 I think will depend on your next couple of games.

Thanks john Barnes for your honest comments, I think spurs will be nowhere near top 4 and I even think we will finish between 6th and 8th as we go missing too much. As for cup runs we will be exiting the champions league in the next round and the FA cup we haven't been close to winning it for years. The only cup pochetinho knows his is tea cup at home, like the smiths once sang HEAVEN KNOWS I'M MISERABLE NOW and boy does the raver feel like that about Tottenham and life at the moment.

We were second a few games ago! A run of bad form has caused this. We despatched Liverpool with ease, how patronising do you want to be? Look at the teams in your CL group, they are average at best and yet you still haven't qualified.
