AVB has now inevitably been sacked, now let's see what happens, maybe hoddle will take to the end of season, personally I think it was the right decision unfortunately as avb couldn't turn things around.

I also think that if someone sets the players out correctly we can turn the season round immediately.

Onwards and upwards.

Tim Sherwood or Glenn Hoddle for me

2.) 16 Dec 2013
I do feel for him, needing to bed in 7 new players. But I feel that it's his stubbornness that has cost him another job.
When there are injuries to your back line and you're fielding Dawson, Capoue & Naughton, against a Suarez, Sterling & Coutinho, you can not afford to play the high line.

Capello looks to be favourite, I would love for Laudrup to come in. Attack minded and plays the sort of football that we want to get back to seeing

3.) 16 Dec 2013
Let's face or we going to end up with Capello with his ties with Baldini it just seems inevitable. I personally do not see Hoddle as the man for the job but you never know. Laudrup would be my choice as he'd get us attacking and organised. You asked me for positivity 643, does his sacking help with the positivity? Lol

Hopefully Michael laudrup will take over

We had the best manager I've seen at spurs for years and got rid of him. Ok he didn't always see eye to eye with Levy. I bet Harry's laughing now.

I have no doubt if HR had these players we would be scoring goals.

As for AVB's comments yesterday we've had the most shots so far this season. He needs to have another look, 90% of them shots just about made the bl00dy goal.

AVB - Hasn't a clue how to man manage furthermore plays a high line in defence with the slowest defender in the league in Mr Dawson (who has been our worst player this season by far). come on you don't even get away with this over Hackney marshes.

8.) 16 Dec 2013
Tim Sherwood until end of season I reckon.

9.) 16 Dec 2013
Yeah because proven managers have worked so well for us. We need a man that understands the club the supporters and the mentality. We need someone who understands the prem and feels for the club. Klinnsman would not work that's just sentiment, capello, don't make me laugh, best managers out their like Klopp won't come so why not try Sherwood til end of the season. New English talent rather than usual foreign failures.

1985 honestly I think his sacking is very positive. Someone new will play the way we are supposed to and turn things round we have a great squad.

You know for the start of last season dembele and sandro were amongst if not the best midfield pairing in the premiership yet he hasn't let them play together once, not in the same roles as last season anyway.

Regardless what people say about BAE there is no comparison to having Naughton. BAE has never been as poor as yesterdays display.

That said I do worry who gets brought in but don't think it will be soon. I think most of the names mentioned with odds is sheer speculation and as of yet no one has a clue, I guess at sherwood for the mean time.

looks like a hard start for whoever as seems next game is Capoue and Fryers to start in defence.

643 I really do hope your right, with the names being mentioned I'm not to sure our options of a good manager are that great. Hoddle back in charge, some people really do have short memories. Yes he was good when attacking but terrible defensively and we're leaking so many goals that needs sorting. Capello, well 'could' be a great manager for us but so 'could' any manager. I think we're in for another transition season and a lot more disappointment this year. But that said we are still THFC and I think our team need the fans at full volume for the rest of the season.

12.) 17 Dec 2013
Hoddle could work this time around but if he doesn't it will probably seem worse than another foreign manager failing. I think the game has moved on more to what suits Hoddle's tactical expertise and approach in the past 10years. The reality is you generally can't stop a Man City or Chelski if they're completely rampant so need to be able to cause them problems yourself. With 'lesser' teams, they're going to park the bus at WHL if we come on to them so you need to be able to unlock that and protect from the odd counter. Harry did it often, AVB slowed it down and let teams into those games far too softly. Hoddle would change that and can also see the fragility of our defensive tactics if you've listened to him, mind you most have seen and exploited them anyway so should be something relatively simple to improve!
