another poor display from us again. I feel sorry for the fans who have travelled up to stoke to watch us not trying plus mopo picking players who are not good enough. if mopo don't do well next year I think a lot of fans are going to lose faith with him. also how poor is chiriches

After that performance , why would Lloris and Eriksen even want to be here next season . That defence was total s***e , and Mopo can take the blame for that . His persistence with playing Fazio and Chiriches is un explainable , his persistence with playing Dier at right back is un believable . I feel for Mason , Bentaleb and Kane , young players who are now feeling it after a long season , but that today was a bloody shambles!!!

You have to wonder why players that appear to be running on empty like Mason aren't given some rest when we have players like Dembele and Paulinho available, regardless of wether MoPo plans to keep them. Has to be better than running someone into the ground.
The back 4 is a little easier to understand with injuries, but why not put Yedlin in and play Dier as CB? Theses last few games have no value for us this season other than to get someone like Yedlin playing time.

I'm not going to say much based on that performance as it was poor (although Stoke away is a tough game no matter who you are) but if he had played pauliniho I can imagine the comments a few on here would have aimed at Mopo for playing him. We just got to accept he has reasons behind his decisions and support him. Gunner62 is right, we'll never have success until we keep faith in a manager and let him build. Moaning about every decision he makes isn't being supportive. Before anybody thinks I'm being overly positive as usual think about this, we had a really good result against Southampton the other day and not a single post was made. It does appear as if we only enjoy losing so we can have a moan. We are supposed to be supporters of our club, let's go out roaring this season and carry it onto the next.

I agree in that I assume MoPo picks his team on what he sees every day in training. Which is a major condemnation of the players that don't even make the bench.
The number of poor performances this season far out ways the number of good, this summer is going to be interesting. I'm not sure how we move forward without some major upheaval in the squad, too many players that have been brought in the last 2 years have contributed nothing of note.

Yellowcard, major upheaval is the only way. I hate it when some say it will be a transitional season again if we buy and sell a lot.
If we keep the then it will be the same again, probably worse. I want new players in and see how it goes, players who want to play for us and players who Poch wants.
I don't want to see at least 6 or 7 of our squad in a spurs shirt ever again.
I want to see Pritchard, Alli, Yedlin given a run they can't do any worse.

Any manager that picks a team based on fan reaction is doomed.
The only criteria can be what they see in training and on the pitch during competitive games.
That said our results, a measure of progress, for the last 4 months make us a team performing in the bottom half of the premier league. MoPo needs to get things moving in the right direction before Xmas.
