Ok, Thats look at things realistically. 1 Game left. 1 pint behind Assnal, 1 point ahead of The Geordies.
We are at home playing Fulham, ex manager and a team that can not move up the table if they win.
Assnal away to WBA, last game for Hodgson, will want to go out on high, Draw poss win for WBA (hopefully), Geordies, away to Everton, who are playing very well, and will be desparate to finish above Liverfool, Everton win. Spurs 3rd, Assnal 4th Geordies 5th,

In an ideal world WBA win, Spurs Win, Geordies win,
Spurs 3rd, Geordies 4th, and Assnal 5th, possible but not going to happen. whatever happen we MUST win against fulham, let the other results take care of themselves.

On the transfer front Vertoghen today pleaded with Ajax not to price him out of his dream move to Spurs.

Fingers crossed this will happen quickly.

Fulham are in 9th and if results go their way they can finish 7th....

Agree2 Disagree0

If we lose to fulham then we dont deserve 4th place. They are good team i admit that but they are type of team we should beat. Good to see Jol doing a decent job there.

Agree2 Disagree0

There is an estimated 4million pound difference from finishing 8th and 9th. This was brought in last year so teams wouldnt just basically quit towards the end of the year. Im sure the Fulham players will have a bonus if the get top 8.

Agree2 Disagree0

Or Arsenal win (3rd) Newcastle win (4th) Spurs lose (5th) . Dont eat any pasta on saturday night lads.

Or we get 4th and Chelsea win the CL :-/

Being realistic, I don't think Chelsea have a chance in hell of winning Champions League, Bayern will be way too strong for them. Robben alone will tear apart their defence.

Naz {Ed002's Note - What did you think of their chances against Barcelona?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002 - fair point

Naz {Ed002's Note - But to be fair, it will not be easy at all. Particularly in Munich.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with Naz, Chelsea should get smashed by bayern esspecially with most their first team suspended/injured

Agree1 Disagree0

You can se it happening again. Chelski will put out a 11 man defence, play on the verge of their own box and wait for the opportunity to make a quick break, just like they did in both rounds against barca.

Personally Id rather my team attacked and lost that had a 11 man def and won but hey thats just my opinion

Agree1 Disagree1

You would rather lose the champions league final than win it by parking the bus.
one of the funniest things i have heard in my life

Happy Days the Rumour Mill and the Oracle ! How I will spend my whole summer scouring the sites for news of the signings that will strengthen the yod Army.

All that matters right now is that WHL is a cauldron of noise like never before and that Arry sends them out to try and rip the heart of Fulham in the first 20 mins, cos we all know that if it gets to half time at nil nil or we go a goal down the tension will be unbearable. Why do we have to endure this ! We could have had 3rd sown up long ago.

Levy will do his best, that guy takes a lot of stick but as a Spurs fan of nearly 50 years we owe him big time, he has got us where we are and have been for a while now (Not Mid table as our gooner pal keeps saying as it goes) He has made his mistakes Ramos etc etc but given we only get 35,000 he has worked a miracle, long may it continuenat least we are solvent and operate as a proper business. Chelsea and City will find their chickens coming home to roost when the new UeFA rules kick in.

As for our mate BAE, great at going forward as he is and surely consistent, as a defender he is a liability so if he thinks he can get bigger and betterr things then good luck with that Benny.

We need to get Caulker and Naughton in the squad next season and with a few astute signings we will be in the mix at the top again.

Come on yod Army lets be the 12th man on Sunday and pray that the baggies give Woy A Wight Woyal Send Off
