I dnt come looking for grief I come to talk about football as I have a huge interest in football and an interested in peoples opinions! I have acknowledged that spurs are a good team with good players and fan base, why do you find it necessary to gun me down as it were? excuse the pun! all I did was defend my team as you would yours, is it really that bad? that's the last time I write in to this part of the site! if you win tomorrow I will congratulate you and move on! good luck for the rest of the season and in the future

Suarez this, Suarez that?
Who gives a flying eff about Suarez.
He ain't even the best in the league in his position.
Please bring back. the oracle, champagne Charlie and pinky.
I would welcome them with open arms (ish)

I know, it's getting ridiculous, one or two fans of local rivals yes, multiple fans of the team your playing at weekend get lost just because on unnamed poster on their site.

well no name, there was one in particular that grated me a little, which suggested that liverpool were now a small championship club, that's with the greatest respect to championship clubs by the way, and that coming to anfield would be easy and that spurs would run out 4-0 winners and that suarez couldn't touch bale which isn't true! we are not a small club, in fact, in terms of history and fan base we are enormous so found it a little bit disrespectful! I know that tottenham are on the up and are a great footballing side so the derogatory comments from a minority of lfc fans is unwarrented also! there were a few other derogatory comments from spurs fans also but that was the main one. I respect spurs as a team and I respect the fans, great support home and away, sell out every where you go as do we so found the animosity a little distasteful between the two sets of supporters!

You are enormous (as you say)because glory hunters latched on to you. In the 70'tvd 80's.
the difference between our 2 sets of fans is that 99. 9% of spurs fans are from the area and feel passionately about their local club.
Now, are you from Liverpool. If you are, then good but my guess is that most of your fans gave never been to anfield.
We are not the biggest club in london and excuse our exuberance when we show the premiership how good we can be.
Look at the table, we are the top club that hadn't relied on finance to make it up there. We are a team that had built and been run a certain way.
Now, if one t, what had invaded your site, being disrespectfull then, we agree, he is a t, what but do not come on here, slating us for comments we gave made because, finally, justifiably, we are up there where we think we belong without the aid of 10's of millions.
Now, we love banter on here, we play the game but do not come on here giving it billy big bolloks because it always comes back to bite you in the ass. After last season, we know this too
well.

Well ian the red that is fair enough, however I have seen almost identical comments on the liverpool page directed towards us. there are people in every fan base that act in this way andto behonest I hate it, I feel that it lowers all the fans to that level.

no name, I explained yesterday that I came on to this site to have some friendly banter and honestly ask you about tomorrows gane and what your thoughts were on it! I then saw the abuse levelled at lfc so felt the need to defend us, as you would your club! I explained yday that if you win tomorrow I will happily come back and wish you the best of luck and congratulate you but will you do the same? I doubt it! and don't be so sure that you will win tomorrow, it will be tough but we are playing some excellent football, so we will see!

i would be interested to know which comments have offended you so much, I have looked on both the spurs and the pool pages and the stuff on your page is far more disrespectful than vise versa.
regarding the game, I do think it qwilll be close but we will edge it by a goal (probably a bale goal), however if you do outplay us and win then I have no problem with congratulating you on the scouse page

yeah fair enough no name it may have lacked respect! but do you see the derogatory joke just below your comment that makes scousers out to have no intelligence? the origional poster was talking in a football sense, the other post is practically on a personal level! their is a distinct difference between the two!

Why are you even on this page so often? quite sure you won't be on it after tomorrow, and if you are, it will be to praise our fantastic set up. Don't cry.

To be fair spurs are a good side
and have better strength in depth especially defensively
but 11 v 11 its pretty close
lloris edges reina
wiht johnson arguably better than walker
agger the equal of verto
dawson edges carra
enrique edges ekotto
parker and lucas relatively equal like gerrard and dembele
coutinho and siggi both have had 2 /3 good games
then there is bale and suarez both flying
downing lennon. lennon edges that one
and sturridge v defoe which is pretty equal
all in all there isn't much between the starting 11s
i think we will win tomorrow 2-1. however I do fancy you to win the europa league

Tom didn't you put the same post on the Liverpool site and get battered by your own fans? I thought it was a very honest and bold thing to post seeing you put Dembele and stevie G on equal terms. Fair play to ya bud not as short sighted as many of your fellow fans.
In my eyes your welcome on our page anytime. Best of luck for the rest of the season (bar today of course)

Oh yeah also I think you won't be far of with your prediction although I still see a draw as most likely result.

We are going to trash you sunday, we are better and probs best in league but just don't always play like it, suarez is miles better than bale and this is going on stats, he will get a hatrick probably this weekend. next season we will be above you lot, just wait and see. Br taking us places. watch this space

Q: Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, an intelligent Liverpool supporter, and an old drunk are walking down the street together when simultaneously they each spot a fifty quid note. Who gets it?
A: The old drunk, of course; the other three are mythical creatures.

As a Liverpool fan this comment annoys me, some person that's had a few too many jars!
The game will be close neither team will trash the other and bale and suarez are both great players in great form.
There will be no hat-tricks by any player.
More than likely a draw in my mind although as it would my heart says a pool win, whatever the case win, lose or draw it will be some game with the 2 in form teams going head to head

How about we all stick to our own sites before Sunday and discuss the merits of Spurs, Liverpool, Bale and Suarez after the game?

Tht most sensible comment I have read in days.
Why have these Liverpool fans suddenly flooded our page?
If it IS in response to one comment on their page, then they are just as bad as the t, what who posted on their page.
I personally think they are worried, very worried and are coming out fighting now.

Ian the Red,
You can't really compare Bale and Suarez, unless it diving ability, then its a close call, but seriously they are different types of player Suarez is a striker, Bale is more of an attacking midfielder. Suarez also has a few years more experience on Bale. Both players are pure class and performing unbelievably well at the moment and I would love both at my beloved Tottenham, I personally think if we had a Suarez we would be challenging ManU. But if I can only have 1 player biased as it might be I'd have Bale everyday, probably as you'd have Suarez, but I feel Bale brings more to the team he can defend (sort of) is more versitile and in the words of Andy Townsend runs like a porsche. Hopefully we get a result against tomorrow we have a pretty good record of late against you's but either way that's keep the banter friendly

Ian the red Your just another bitter Liverpool fan, you can't handle lil ole Tottenham doing better than your living off the 70s, 80s team (the worst two decades standard wise). When Tottenham get their new stadium we will batter you even more than now. Suarez is a striker btw you neanderthal, Bale is a defender turned winger now a forward doh.
