Lemmings are lovely little creatures, but they follow each other around like most people on this forum. Time for a little history lesson and time to put my neck on the line once again.

I have been around for some time now, and have received a torrent of abuse for over 12 months. The basis to the abuse is that I am deluded with my statements, and a totally biased fixation on the ones that got away. Lets look at what a deluded fool I am, and let us have a more objective look at the past.

Berbatov - You told me I was a fool and that we wouldnt pay that sort of cash for someone that none of you had even heard of. Addtionally I reported his departure months before he left and was again abused as deluded and insane. Well he came and left didnt he ?

Modric - I gave this again months before he was linked in the press, and the same naysayers told me this was ridiculous. When I subsequently linked his departure I was destroyed by many of the same bullies, telling me that I was talking out of my bottom. Aparently there was no possible way we would sell Modric to Real Madrid as he was the centre of our team and we didnt need the money. Once again correct in and out !!

When I linked the return of Defoe, Crouch, Keane, Chimbonda and Palacios I needed a tin hat on each occassion. You publically humiliated me stating that they were past it, and there was not even a remote possiblility of them rejoining the team. When they signed like always there was no acknowledgement, just the same old hindsight nonsence and abuse.

I linked Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker, and I was abused for stating that the total fee was going to be £10m as a package. You told me that amount was stupid, and told me that I needed to play more fantasy football. When they signed the same old silence I have come to expect.

I linked Sandro and Parker and was told that Sandro was another Brazilian flop and Parker was past his prime and would never sign for Spurs. Well hardly flops were they, and once again both arrived.

Then the bad stuff, why didnt I link Khumalo, Coulibaly, Pienaar, Kaboul, Parrett and Krancjar. Each time you told me my previous success were already known, when you knew they were not even mentioned at the time. You used these examples as players I failed to inform you about, and this was assumed proof that I was a 'pathelogical liar' Well all these players were not major acquisitions and I have never been involved in deals of this nature like Holtby's signature recently.

I was wrong when I told you Damiao would sign the last 3 windows. If you knew the half of it you would be absolutely shocked that he isnt a Spurs player already, even ED confirmed it was a done deal in one of those windows. Well this time it is certain and he will be here very soon.

I failed on the Cahill link, but ED was kind enough to acknowledge that he too knew that this deal was much closer that the press would have had you believe. Infact i was certain he would sign and that one was almost unbelievable.

I linked the Olympic stadium and even when it went to the Hammers I told you it was not over. Every press article confirmed it was a done deal and once again I was proven right when the decision was overturned. What followed was the same old abuse with little facts or sensible debate, and totally focussed on trying to convince me that the new foundations for the new stadium at WHL were already laid. This saga is far from over and we WILL eventually be playing in the Olympic stadium. I understand it is hard to believe, but the proof will be in the pudding !!

VDV was the one that got away for me, all I can say is that this one was as much a shock to me as it was to Harry Redknapp, and yet this was further evidence I had failed in my knowledge.

So onto the current news, things have changed significantly over the last 24 hours. Here is the current position;

Belhanda - 0% Interest has been dropped, will sign for Fenebache for sure.

Zaha - 0% Never really at the races, just PR games. Always going to join Man United or his boyhood club Arsenal, and it feels like Sir Alex is wining the race.

Lloc Remy - 0% not even a target and certain not to be signed. Newcastle look very likely to replace Demba Ba with this over rated player.

Llorente - 5% Almost certain to join Juventus but our scouts are monitoring the situation and readying a strike should the impossible happen.

M'Villa - 10% a chance and a genuine targets, but not in the primary acquistion list. Amazingly the word from those involved at Spurs believe that Harry Redknapp is very near to a deal.

Sniejder - 10% although still possible, the odds are getting more remote by the hour. Galatasaray have offered crazy financials, and Levy has withdrawn from negotiations. With Anzhi sniffing around for any opportunity, I doubt we can get even close to the silly money being discussed.

Alexis Sanchez - 25% a very slim chance we could secure his services, and highly rated by AVB. As amazing as it sounds a small club called Liverpool seems a more likely destination.

Willian - 25% Very complex situation and a club without the desire to negotiate unless on their terms. Still a outside chance and very much highly desired if the financials can fit.

Moutinho - 60% Almost there with Joao Moutinho's agents, but there are very complex ownership rights which make the deal difficult albeit still more than 50/50.

Damiao - 100% Guaranteed transfer. Everything has been agreed and there are minor player terms and agents remunerations terms to be finalised. The time zone delay is protracting the negotiation process, but expect an annoucement shortly. You might be surprised by how ow the transfer deal is !!

In summary I don't think the bullies have been fair when judging and sentancing me. We will sign Damiao this window, and Moutinho looks very likely to join him. The stadium will be my finest hour, but that is many months away.

ED thanks for your kind comments, very much appreciated.

What he meant to say to you ED was "I am sorry Oracle for being a thoughtless bully, and looking back you did get most things right. I apologise from branding you a pathological liar, and accept I have ignored all your successes and concentrated on your flaws. Please a accept my apology for being so short sighted and biased in my responses."

The Lemming {Ed001's Note - but you have got nothing right Oracle, no matter what name you use to sign off with......}

Oracle! and what of eriksen? I understand that dl wants him but avb doesn't? also, what of the young ajax defender? I forget his surname but I believe his first name is toby!

What a load of bs you must be our cheif scout according to that lot would love some proof to back it up. what you fail to mention is the olympic stadium er damiao who you claimed was coming last window and the window before that. look Oracle i find you very entertaining as a lot of us do and please keep posting, but if you believe the above and want us to believe it then you really are taking yourself too seriously

Don't mean to come across as a bully. Occasionally what you say is hard to believe and I am a sceptic about most things.
We are all spurs fans and want what's best for the team ( apart from the Olympic stadium, I hate the idea of moving over there)

I have used this site for as long as I can remember, unless you posted under a different name, I guarantee you, you did not 'give us' a single one of those transfers.
For as long as I can remember, you have always, I mean always, reposted regurgitated stories you have found from various media sources.
Over the years, you are getting more and more delusional.
You really should go and seek help now, you have waited far too long.

Oracle, Whilst I do agree that you get an awful amount of abuse from others fans on this site, you would have to admit you do open yourself up for it with the things you write. Whilst you have had many predictions come true, you were no more ITK the know than anyone else. You state all these players to be signing or leaving but you never give a source for these statements. And the thing with the staduim is getting boring now, why would Spurs move there, when they have been given funding to redevelope, would they not have to pay all this money back? also why would Mr Levy waste money leveling the site and prepping for building if he knows we are going to move to the olympic stadium?

The only way you could be as ITK as you claim is if you are infact Mr Levy.
Which I very much doubt.

Well written! Got to give it to the guy he has made some predictions that have come through. I hope you are right with damaio and Moutinho.

Oracle, what about eriksen? & Hulk?...is it possible they will come to the lane?

Levy is a business man! the ground that has been leveled would not be wasted!

Oracle,

You call people lemmings as if everyone having pretty much the same opinions of your post makes us like sheep.
You refer to people as bullies because they rubbish your posts, which you would have to agree that for the last few windows have been total rubbish.

I remember in the summer early in the window you claimed damiao was a done deal same as you have now. Then still months till the window closed he never came.

Now you state if only we knew the half of it, the real thing is if only you knew any of it, we would listen.

Don't be upset that your posts get rubbished just get something right for once and that doesn't include damiao he had been all over the papers before you came out again this window.

Chance hasn't been good to you, hopefully your not a gambling man as your guesses rarely win.

That being said I do enjoy a post from you lol.

Hoping for once one of your guesses becomes a reality.

We all love you Oracle. Some love to hate, others love.

I do hope your right about Damiao.

Olympic Staduim, unsure unless West Spam get relegated or get bankrupt I can't see it unless you know something that you arn't sharing (or can't share at the moment).

If we were so close to getting Moutinho last time wouldn't it all been in place and just a question of him signing? And Damiao knows we want him hasn't said he'd be interested in coming and seems to be waiting for a better offer to come along so although he's a top draw striker isn't it time we moved on

ou812

Believable4 Unbelievable0

In believe the issue in the summer with Moutinho was the fee paid to the 3rd party. So that might still be a stumbling block, if price hasnt changed, although levy mmight be trying to move the goalposts again on this deal.

Damiao may have been waiting for that better offer but we might be it. The contract might not change but our reputation has. If hes smart he'll accept that hes joining a CL club with a long term vision, in desperate need of a quality striker

Hi all, this is fact. I was at Stansted Airport and i happened to see Daniel Levy, Darren Eales, AVB and The Oracle all just come back from Brazil(i think). I called them over and they all had papers in their hands and Mr Eales said he's were for Willian, AVB said he's were for Moutinho, DL said he's were for the Olympic Stadium and Oracle told me that Damiao was in his suitcase, all signed, sealed and delivered. 100 % true guys and great news for us.

As much as I'd like to believe some of these rumours, I'm not sure on most of them.

With Adebayor going to ACON now, do the eds have any news on whether Spurs will be going after another striker? And if so which one?

I'd still love Llorente personally, but it will take something special from Levy to pull it off.

So it of all the names thrown around, willian, damiao, moutinho, zaha and belhanda, who do you expect us to sign, if any and who do you want. Moutinho would be nice?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

A striker is key... Adebeyor going may give coubially (excuse the spelling) a chance but we need a proven goal scorer... Defoe is doing well and in a purple patch but what if that stops?

Also our main problem the past few years has been if we lose bale or lennon and lose that speed and width.

Yes Dempsey and Sigs can come in and play wide but not to the effect bale and lennon can.

I don't know enough about Holtby to say whether he can fill this role but i understand he is better playing through the middle.

I think zaha or willian would be a good buy but can't see either happening.

Striker #1 priority
Winger #2 priority

a website reporting we are in talks with belhanda. Am I the only who thinks it is £12m wasted? With Holtby in the bag, personally I think we should just put up the £1.6m for him early as the play a near exact same role. It is £10.4m wasted when we need a striker quite blatantly and we clearly don't have the disposable income to just over load out team with midfielders, especially when the stoking options are so light. I'm hopeing it is just rumour and not followed up on or we have wasted a lot of time and effort in this window securing a player with the talent and potential of Holtby
Jakethespur

Believable4 Unbelievable2

While true they could play the same role, one is a righty and the oither a lefty. If we can afford it then we would have two good playmakers who can cover a wing if needed. This might be the cheaper alternative to willian, which scares me a little because that guy is exactly what we need.

All in all if we got belhanda and not willian I would not be upset as long as those savings bring in a striker and a playmaker

Royal Yid

Agree3 Disagree1

Belhanda has a lot of talent, Ligue 1 player of the year last season. Much more comfortable playing the advanced role than Holtby I think.

The way I see it is AVB is looking to eventually move back to a lone striker system. Holtby will be groomed as a replacement for Modric, but can also play a more advanced role or on the wing. Belhanda is more of a replacement for VDV, best in the advanced role but can also drop back and play CM or cover for the wings if necessary. Both have a lot of potential and I do not see it as a waste of money whatsoever, I would have expected Belhanda to leave Montpellier for a lot more than £12m last summer.

Belhanda- Good deal below 15 million euro..the guy has potential.

Willian and Moutinho- Both Expensive (Minimum 25 million euro)

Damiao- we need, in fact we need a striker in replacement of Adebayor and young and promising Damiao could be the desired option.....For cheaper altermnative, its llorente.....

Holtby- Expect more to be replacement of Bale, who is likely to leave in 1-2 years in a big money move....

Not a Rumor just reading on

Tottenham are interested in signing Montpellier playmaker Younes Belhanda, after the French club's president set a £12 million asking price for the midfielder.

Spurs look set to bid for Leandro Damiao
'If they (Spurs) sign anyone big in January then I believe it will be Damião. Spurs like him and have had two previous offers turned down and since AVB has arrived he has made it clear he would like him also.

'The player, I also believe, would now like to come. Spurs would pay £15m - Internacional have previously insisted, after saying that was the price, that they want £20m.

'It's a very hard deal to do and my gut feeling is it won't happen now. But Spurs will try - especially if they can sell a couple of players also.'

You may read that and think well that's exactly the same position we have found ourselves in for the last few transfer windows with the Brazilian.

The key quote is that Damião would now like to come. We know firsthand from Modric and Pavlyuchenko when a player wants to go he ends up going

My personal view i don't think we will get either and now i will be shot down by the orcale. {Ed008's Note -

So excited with our new signings and the potential transfer of Belhanda! Our team is looking so good at the moment and the strength in depth if Belhanda signs will be amazing. I think AVB is working wonders with our squad and Daniel Levy is a genius.

Imagine the partnership between Dembele and Belhanda, along with Sandro this could surely be the best central midfield trio in the premiership - an absolutely powerhouse. Add to that the two best wingers in the premiership in Bale and Lennon, plus Vertonghen and Kaboul in central defence, Walker and BAE at full back and Lloris in goal. Not to mention the way AVB has got Defoe playing recently -absolutely incredible!

With Friedel, Fryers, Dawson, Caulker, Naughton, Holtby, Parker, Siggurdson, Dempsey, Coulibaly, and Adebayor in the ranks we have a great balance of youth and experience and good competition for places.

Great news fellow spurs fans, we are close to looking like a complete team once more! One that in my opinion could challenge for the title and should definitely be getting Champions League football!

COYS!!

Adam

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Definitely getting Champions League football! I seem to recall the same comments last season & look what happened to us. We need to clear out the dead wood: Gomes, Gallas, Dawson, Parker, Adebayor, Livermore, Bentley, Jenas, etc & buy in some quality replacements. Boy do we miss Modric.

Agree0 Disagree3

How do we miss modric? in the last few games we have made multiple chances for our forwards and others, the problem is finishing those chances. He is a class footballer as he showed in the RM gme last night, but we still make many chances in games even without his input. Its a world class finisher we miss. Can you imagine where we would be with a suarez in our squad? Our club has missed out the last few years without a world xlass finisher, and unless we break the bank to get ourselves one, whether he be the infamous Damaio, Llorente or a n other we need someone who will take a higher percentage of the chances we make than our current forwards.
