Fair enough i may have come across as a bit harsh so i do apologise for that.
we needed a striker it was clear for everyone to see.
like you said we should have stuck with one player and signed him instead of having 5 on our list!
redknapp did have a list of players he wanted but the clubs put crazy valuation on these players.
would you have payed 30 million for rossi with a chance we might not make top 4 next season. HELL NO (no different to defoe) 15 mill for forlan? the grandad. .or 12 million for fabiano who because of his age has no time to settle in to the premierleague pace! i don't think you can fualt redknapp for not signing anybody can you? so in respect im sure alot of fans can respect that!
in the end i was glad we never signed anybody! our current squad is very strong, if we didn't have big big injuries we would be higher in the league then we are now! peoples opinions would be different!
i too get frustrated when redknapp plays that lankey git, i don't think hes sh*t but for a guy so tall his heading ability is awfull, and in recent games its like he wasnt even on the pitch! his height only comes as an advantage to us 1 in 5 games, that's how inconsistent he is so in someways i can agree with you with the whole redknapp situation and how he picks and plays players out of position!
aguero and diarra in the summer. .ill prey

I agree with your point about over valued players, £30 million for Rossi is a joke, HOWEVER, in the great scheme of things £15 million for a player that lit up the World cup, is experienced, can score goals at all levels, knows what the premiership is all about and still has the legs to play in it, is chicken feed! We should have gone for Forlan IMHO, somebody who would have hit the ground running and, worse case scenario, if we only had his ability for two seasons, it would have been a seriously cheap value option. As for him being called Grandad?!?! he is 32 in May, bloody hell, if that is old, even in Football terms, id best order a coffin for myself!
Anyway, we all want the same thing, success, im just questioning the thinking behind things and I do wonder if Levy, who is utterly ruthless in getting what he wants, won't think twice about moving Redknapp on if he truly believes that he cannot move us to the next step.
We shall see. .

Look at all the clubs hes managed hes never signed a true world class player. coys

stop criticising redknapp. you are cluless. your turning into them arsenal fans who non stop criticise wenger and want him out.
didnt redknapp sign teves and mascerano? did he not bring them to a MUCH lower league team then us. yes we needed a striker but its a matter of time that are fowards start firing! in the CL, teams do not know how to handle peter crouch and once defoe finds his feet we shall be ok. DONT forget we have played the whole season without a full squad AND STILL harry has us in touching distance!
imagine the amount of money we will have if we finish top 4 this season!
harry will sign a world class player for spurs, january is just the hardest time to negotiate.
Listen, what ever thoughts you have in your brain about harry is nonsense.
i don't see how we are going to go backwards if we don't have a world class manager to attract worldy. Bale, modric, VDV are player whom individually can attract top players! harry redknapp is a top man, he knows what hes doing! harry can attract world class players and has proved it before. hes one manager known to bring out the confidence in players and help them get back on their feet.

i have total respect for harry and what he is doing, big big players out through injury, sitting 5th and in touching distance of 4th.

Think before you speak Sir! Gooners are critical of Wenger because he has won f**k all in years. As much as i hate them, I am big enough to concede that a club the size of Arsenal should have been winning things under Wenger, whether it be The Premiership or the two bob cup. Despite the fact that they need a top quality centre half, he didn't even attempt to sign one in the January transfer window and, Id guess, the average Gooner is well and truly f****d off after giving away a 4 goal lead yesterday. The average Gooner will ask themselves " when are we going to stop building and start winning things?"
So, don't condemn the average Yid for thinking like a Gooner, its Football, we are all dreaming of the same things fella.
Redknapp? Brilliant motivator, talker, knows his Horseflesh but is fixated with Crouch, can be tactically naive ( playing people out of position) and has spent the last two seasons with a strike force that couldnt hit a Barn door with a banjo. Defoe scored nearly half his goals last season in two games, Crouch will NEVER score 20 a season, Keane was forgotton and Pav never gets any kind of extended run, even though he has shown he can find the net. Redknapp will have all the time in the world for defoe to come good, he believes that Crouch gives the team another dimension ( yeah, just the one) and he, clearly doesn't rate Pav. Put all that together and we become reliant on Van Der Vart, Bale and anybody else to chip in with a goal. Its very telling that our goal difference is plus 8 and the teams above us are well into double figures. I don't see what nobody gets about that, Defoes absence through injury was irrellevent because we still had three other strikers on the books! I don't believe that we will go backwards but I DO believe that we are in danger of being caught by Liverpool and next season by Villa. The fact that we have such a strong squad has clearly not scared the inferior squad of Man Utd who are still sitting pretty at the top of the tree.Somewhere in that lays a truth, like it or not. So Redknapp is NOT the messiah, the free flowing exciting football we play is no more free flowing or exciting than Blackpool under Holloway, we just do it with beter players. If you listen to what Redknapp has said recently, there is a certain conflict between what he wanted and what he got, which was sod all. He blames it all on going for too many players, instead of concentrating on the "one" So who decided to go for the many and not the one? Who couldnt make their minds up? If Redknapp really is in charge of player procurement then its all HIS fault! You really can't have it both ways fella!
Levy? A good Chairman, gets the cheque book out when its needed and you don't see or hear from him because the club is seen as more important ( listening to that, are we, messers Gold, Sullivan and Ms Brady, you attention seeking whores, you!) which is kinda old school chairman, i think.
So long as Im prepared to spend the thick end of a £100 just to get me and my missus into the ground, as well as having to do a 200mile round trip and spending a small fortune on greasy burgers and tat out of the spurs shop, I will always be entitled to an opinion, EVERY spurs supporter is entitled to an opinion! !
Have a bit of respect, they are not clueless, they have a view different to yours. . and in this case m'lud, I have to say they have made a case that you have failed to demolish.
