What a completely different side Real Madrid look when Modric is playing, I know Manchester United are down to 10 but love him or hate him he is class.
I do like Dembele and he has a lot more power than Modric when defending, but we could have accomodated both in our midfield he just pulls the strings - I just hope Bale is more patient with Spurs than Modric was because we are on the up.

To the Manchester United fan below who claims Bale is at Old Trafford tonight ha ha ha ha, you will never get Bale, you couldn't even get Modric and look what the dirty rat did tonight, he knocked you out of the Cl albeit help from the ref but how many times have spurs been robbed by a ref against you. What goes around comes around. Keep dreaming of Bale you will never get him, never.

I see on the picture that Danny Simpson was there too (Newcastle I think), does that mean that he is off too, to either Madrid or utd.

Does anyone know if Dembele is available for Inter / Liverpool?
And if he picked up an injury or just a knock?
Also are we expecting Kaboul back soon I believe he was due back to training around now?
Dembele is fine, wether he's on bench for inter match as precaution or starts who knows, he will start against pool for sure.
Kaboul is training with first team, won't b rushed back just like benny wasn't, he might b on bench for swansea game all going well.

Am I the only spurs fan that is confident Bale will remain at spurs for at least another season, can't see him going anywhere to be honest!
Nope I'm in arguments with friends as they think I'm dillusional but I don't think he's going anywhere.
I mean any potential suitor has to deal with Levy. Nightmare!
If Spurs get CL football then he will definitely stay. He won't get a 'free' role at clubs like Real, Man U, Barca or Bayern. So it is in his best interest to stay
And I bet your mates are non tottenham supporters, we are on the up a lot of clubs don't like it, he will stay guranteed!
No I defiantley believe he will be at Spurs next season and maybe beyond that, He has been full of praise for AVB recently for improving his, he loves his role at the club and did you see him run over to AVB on saturday you'd thought we had won the league. He seems contented at the moment and if we can deliver consist CL and a trophy challenging team he will have no need to look anywhere for a long time.

Why on earth would Liverpool fans be jealous? fair enough they have not won the title in 20 odd years but I bet they have still won 20 odd other trophies in that time, can spuds match that? nah didn't think so.
They're jealous of the future, not of the past.
Agreed that if we get CL football Bale will stay. I can see him staying longer if Levy demonstrates the ambition for the team that persuaded Bale to sign a long contract.
I wasn't saying they should be jealous just that the fans are acting like they are. I'm a spurs fan first but a football fan second so I'm aware of the history of the likes of Liverpool and United. The fact you felt the way to respond the way you did just proves my point!
