Mata will sign for Arsenal and has regected Spurs - juan nil to Arsenal

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Yes because what arsenal really need is left winger, not a goalkeeper, defender or a central midfielder and we have probably six players who can play that position..you can have him.....juan more arsenal saviour..ha ha ha

I am now getting used to the idea that the chances of a Modric sale to Chelsea is immanent. I no longer have this feeling that Modric is being disloyal, in fact, I am beginning to have no feeling for Luka at all. I can live without Luka Modric on my Tottenham team. He no longer has my loyalty. It's obvious he could care less about us Spurs fans and could care less about being Spurs player. He's is a man who, without football, would have gone from job to job aimlessy looking for a company to carry him. He is not interested in building a career as he is in selling his wares. He is becoming like an insect drawn to that sweet honey pot, despite having a brain, it is weak and undisciplined and hasn't the strength to do otherwise. After all, we all know of his abilities, we also know he (and we) want to win trophies (and see our team play good footbal), so he can do this at Spurs I want Tottenham Hotspur to win trophies but I will never, never, be willing to switch my allegiance to any other team for a trophy. He lacks complete dedication and belief, which is not good enough to be a Tottenham Hotspur. Should he stay, by some quirk of fate, then he will have to convince me, to change my view. Actions speak louder than words.

I might have run with what you said ( a lot of it said with heart and logic ) if you hadnt started it off with your felings that Modric to chelsea was an idea you were getting used to. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Do you REALLY want us to feed all those other clubs? Its one thing suggesting that you would sacrifice trophys for dignity and the moral high ground but its, surely, is something else completely to accept that our club should hand over or best players to rival clubs that wanted them at any price Where would it end? I tell you where, it would end in obscurity for us, continually treading water, bringing in talented individuals and selling them on to "bigger clubs" leaving us to try and repeat the process over and over. Of course, that process wouldnt always be successful so we would probably end up relagated at some stage, comforted by the fact that all that transfer money was tucked away for that disatant day when the club, once again, had enough supporters to justify a bigger stadium than the lane, which, by then, would never be full because people like me would have been kicked in the nuts once too many times to keep going back for more. Like ive said so many times, shift the scum bucket abroad, take less for him than Chelski have offered, just to show them that they CANT buy whoever they want AND to make sure that you dont make them even stronger than before. Will Levy listen? course not. Me? My missus actually rang the club up the other week and demanded to know whether we could refund our club membership if the club sold Modric and/or showed bugger all ambition. it appeared that the question had been asked before because the lady on the other end of the phone told her that we could, so long as we hadnt used said membership for any games. Now, my friends, THAT is supporter power. get on the phones and start asking the same questions and if the club does sell him to the scum, dont just talk about cancelling DO IT If you dont, do you really give a s**t or could you be watching anybody and not be arsed? If Man U fans had done it, do you think the Glazers would still be in charge by now? Its your call.

It is amazing how fickle Spurs fans are, did you all forget we were going nowhere rooted to the foot of the table. Redknapp and Levy have done a fantastic job at Spirs, and if any player feels he is above the club then who cares if they move on. Modric is fantastic for sure, but is he really better than Huddlestone partnering Sandro in the middle. What about Sandro and Van Der Vaart in 4-4-2 which would allow two strikers to play again rather than morph the shape around VDV. I am absolutely convinced the following will happen and I am sure I will get some responses from people who think they are informed:

Blimey I have two weeks away on me hols and somebody comes on and suggests that, maybe, Modric may not be "better" partnering Sandro than Mr "gets around the pitch like a greyhound" Huddlestone? Thats it, Im off to join the rest of the inmates at Broadmoor, the world HAS gone mental...

We ll, 13 days to the beginning of the season and so far we've signed a 40 year old goaly and a 16 year old with "potential". Just as with the Leandro non-deal after an initial flurry of activity/speculation its all gonme horribly quiet and now he's stongly rumoured to be off to Juve. Time to face up to the fact that we AREN'T going to get the players (especially strikers) that we need to really challenge for a CL place. When the window closes and we still havent properly reinforced we'll get a load of waffle from the club about "very hard to get right players in" and "deals for top players close to completion but hit last minute snag" but we all know its b*ll*cks and the real prob is that Levy/Louis arent willing to spend the cash (which we DO have) to get in the players we need. Getting the players you want can be difficult but Man Utd, Chelski, Man City, Arse and even Villa haver all identified and signed players they wanted. Its got so bad that Im embarrassed for Luka, hes been told Spurs match his ambitions but actions speak louder than words and our lack of any quality signings means he would be well within his rights to be p*ssed of at being mislead
