I think bale staying will be more of a financial benefit to spurs then selling him for a lump sum. Players like bale earns the club million extra on merchandise, sponsors, etc not just in north London but around the globe. If we kept him for the next 3 years I thing we can make at least half his rumoured 80 mil fee. On a financial level for him I think if real offers him what 200k a year, staying at spurs with a pay rise of 120k a week + bonuses and being in the uk his status will grow and can become a brand bale. He has already trade marked his hand heart celebration. There is no guarantee for him that he can make it in Spain.

I think the fact Bale is staying is attracting people like villa and paulinho and a few others to the club as they can see potential and ambition and Avb is staying put as well speaks high volumes. I do agree with a previous poster that there won't be many more signings until we shift some players on, but least this year we are getting players in first rather than leaving it till last minute hoping for a special deal which messed as up January window when we failed to get a striker

I no this sounds stupid after last season but I think we should try go for Torres he's not the expensive any more and I think in a team like spurs were he's not under as much pressure for a first team spot he will preform well just a thought though COYS

Half of the rumours about bale going are from different supporters, y? Look we dnt want him to go but remember no player is bigger then the club and 80 mil. So here is a message for all the fools out there that get excited of the thought we will loose bale. Imagine If your club had 80 mil to spend on players, and eho u can buy. That will be us.
