Reported in this morning's paper that ManU "knock back" Spurs approach for Hernandes yet another report says he is on the verge of joining a Spanish club. Does this mean United will not do business with us? Yet they seem to think we are a breeding ground for them and they can buy any of our players whenever they wish IE. Carrick, Berba and more recently they are eyeing Lloris.
They next time they call, we should tell them where to go

Looks like they may have been called by Levy offering them one of our "star" strikers. Hope they take him - though the fact he is in the last year of a contract worries me that he might actually have a good season if he can find someone to play for.

On a separate note following his goal in his first game (good touch and finish) last night Soldado got a better goal and 2 assists last night, typical!!

Well I said this before and I will say it again, why do we leave it so late, yes we have brought in 2 attack minded players finally, but neither have kicked a ball yet for us due to lack of fitness, work permits etc and although we haven't been terrible with the xtra players signed earlier settled in and fit we could be 7 points better off already. We haven't even got the deals done cheap, in fact quite the opposite, as the more desperate other clubs know we are the more money they can demand. 7pts more could be worth around £40 mil in may but with the start we have had need I worry?

Things don't always work out perfectly; and before those 2 attack minded players we did bring in 3 defenders early.

As for the start, comparing to last year:
MUn-A L v L = 0
Stk-H L v D = +1
Lec-A W v D = -2
Eve-H W v D = -2

So 3pts down on the equivalent of last year. Not worry levels yet.
