Read today that Spurs are trying to get a running start to the next transfer window in Jan by neg now for Cahill and a world class striker, doesn't this seem to be telling clubs that we are panicing?
1) Bolton will not reduce the asking price and might even increase it just to spite Cahill and Spurs as they are rumoured to be offering him an improved deal with a buyout clause in it.
2) Strikers where do we go from here all the ones that we where interested in have either refused to go to spurs due to what is on offer (wages/ CL) or not on offer,or have been purchased by other clubs
3) DL get over to Brazil and sign up Diarmo he hasn't turned you done and use the ace in the hole in Santos he friend to convince him to come.

The key point with Cahill is that his contract runs out next summer and if he doesn't sign a new deal there is a possibility he could leave on a free...only option is to either sell him in January or offer him better terms on a new contract
Brilliant sense, if true. We wait until the season is halfway through then we enter an auction for a player we COULD have signed, unchallenged, if we had put our hands in our pockets...................Yep, makes perfect sense.

so now its time to get the 25 man squad sorted. whos it going to be? i'll go for:
cudicini, gomes, friedel.
corluka, walker, ekotto, rose
dawson, kaboul, bassong, gallas, king
bale, lennon, parker, sandro, vdv, huddlestone, livermore, modric, krancjar, pienaar.
adebayor, defoe, pav.
coulibally, cabellos, falque and townsend should all make it by being under 21. looks like gio wont make it either.
Both Rose, Walker and Livermore are all 21.
Therefore there will be room for Giovani Dos Santos. Wish Arry would give him a go!
