that win was papering over the cracks. if we were playing a top side we would have been hammerd. I have seen some poor spurs sides over the years but we always had a leader. mabbutt, sol campbell etc we need to bring in someone to sort out the defence. like mabbutt or even tony pullis other clubs use ex players for positions.

Now pick the right bloody time, dump the crap, and stick with this team for the next ten games . Let them build up some kind of relationship.
So bloody fed up with chopping and changing, players ruling the roost . You don't need a manager to see what our best team is, half of them are rubbish anyway!
Get rid of Rose, Ade, naughton, Capoue, Kaboul, Chiriches, dembele, Paulinho, to name a few, for whatever we can get for them!

Who are the others you would sell?
The Europa is to much of a drain not to make 10 changes but he should pick a 1st 11 for PL and 1st 11 for Europa and League cup and stick with both until new year. At least half of the players named above should be sold in January. A bid for Benteke in January should be a priority, he was a menace up until the red card and has all the qualities our current strikers lack.

Champions league is a drain worth having.
Yellow card, I might have to swallow my pride and risk paying my bet, but at the moment KANE seems to be our best forward by far . I have always thought Soldado would make it but one game after another, some of his misses . He does link up well with KANE though but should we play 4-4-2 because that puts Eriksen on the wing where he is in effective!
Don't be ridiculous! talk about keeping a consistant base of players and stability at the club. When has a club ever sold 9 or 10 of its regulars and done well from it?? So much doom and gloom on this site it's depressing! no wonder WHL is such a miserable place atm!
Well, the answer to that is, until the players start playing for the shirt, the owners start thinking and acting for the club, then yes it will be depressing at the lane . If the players don't give the fans something to be cheerful about, then do you want us to jump about madly . As for changing 9 players and doing well, what about changing 9 players that are total crap . Didn't Southampton change most of their team? They didn't need a settling in period!

Great for Kane, can't get carried away with this win big problems were still poor defensively, lack quality if benteke had not been sent off different result .big problems still exist only consistent Kane .

Luck was on our side today. Interesting to see Kane providing on field leadership aswell as getting involved and providing the impetus to get us moving. Now we'll see who is running the dressing room.

this team are shocking. rose and kaboul must have been out clubbing last night. the team selection is poor no lamela, kane, dembele or townsend. we are playing one of the worst teams in the lge and they should be 3 up at half time. bring in tony pullis he would sort that defence out.

I thought mopo was answer also, bring in teddy from west spam, think its over for mopo .kaboul captain was his first mistake not dropping Ade his other .hope. I'm wrong sick of having twelve month managers but he is not brave .
Well it doesn't matter about the result, if he plays rose, naughton, Kaboul, Ade, Lennon, Townsend and Capoue against Stoke next Sunday, then he loses my vote . Get the kids back!

Mopo bottled it can't drop adebyour beginning of the end for me, this decision tells me mopo not in charge were Gunna see same old today, quick spurt by those deadbeats for 10 mins then they will die away, some will try loose heart, others will cave in, it will be dross soldado will get no service no width Townsend will come on run around like headless chicken get no were, villa are bad but we will be poorer today . Two strikers today and no Kane! For Pochettinos sake I hope we get a convincing win.
Was sure he was the manager for us but not sure now . Yet another who is scared of dropping Ade . Not only that he plays Chadli instead of Lamela, and once again Fazio is on the bench and he plays Kaboul, the useless lump . Doesn't he want to keep his job?
