Can i ask a question to other fellow spurs fans? i see on other comments on websites about adebayor joining the club alot seem to be against the idea.....ok i wont lie when he was at arsenal i hated him for scoreing at white hart lane everytime,but i tink the doubters need to give him a chance before saying anytin i have a feeling he will be great for us and i know deres alot of other spurs fans that tink the same,i even tink ade will hit the ground running first game he plays against wolves

Just so you know mate. I agree. And like Harry says, if he doesnt cut it, then we arent losing out. He could be potentialy a cracking player without the hassle of a large transfer fee and again, as 'Arry says, Arsenal fans hate him so he'll be great at Spurs

Personally, I cant be doing with all the d*ckwads that jump up and down because you sign a player that used to play for you most hated rival. Personally, I couldnt give a f*ck if we sign Gaddafi and Kim Jong il, so long as they move the club forwards.

Sometimes your comments are okay but sometimes you write the most remarkable comments. Your description of other peoples ought to be edited or just not printed. Nobody cares about how you feel about the people who engage in this banter page but more about how you feel about our team. Try and relax a bit.

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is a brilliant run business focussed on sustainable growth and progression. Can you imagine any industry with three major competitors with owners like those of Chelsea, Man City and now QPR. Looking for success and name awareness at any cost, and willing to lose hundred of millions in the process. Any PLC will struggle to compete with blind extravegance and lose making mentality. Please stop getting on Daniel Levy's back at every opportunity and start recognising the financial challenges the club has to deliver against.

So ignoring the money slingers at Chelsea and Man City, what are the underlying issues at Spurs:

1. The stadium is far too small to sustain the wage structure required to attract the players who can deliver to the expectation. The Olympic Stadium decision looks guaranteed to be reversed in Spurs favour, as loaning West Ham £40m of taxpayers money to support a deal couple with delegation always looked like a palace built on sand. The High Court will reverse the loan conditions and with the current financial plight West Ham cannot possibly provide a robust business solution without Newham Council.

2. The squad is simply too big for the current revenue which was evident after reviewing the accounts following recent Champions League success. The massive wage structure has crippled Spurs as the likes of Bentley, Hutton, Woodgate, Jenas, Krancjar, Palacios, Dos Santos and Pavlyuchenko were all clearly never good enough to meet the club and fans expectations. King and Woodgate were both clearly amazing players but it was clear three years ago they were too injury prone, and at £3m and £3.25m wages respectively it is easy to see where all our money has gone. In addition the oversized squad has hindered the growth of our youngsters who have been loaned out or gone backwards in the reserves. We sign Bostock, Naughton Walker, Ceballos, Coubilly, Khumalo in addition to players likes of Harry Kane, Livermore, Caulker and Rose. How have all our kids failed even Dos Santos and Taarabt lost to the mediocrity of premaddonas like Bentley and Jenas. The lack of faith in our youth and abundance of mediocre squad players has destroyed the finances and youth development.

I am 100% certain that the first league football match at the Olmpic stadium will be Spurs at home. I am equally sure that Levy and Redknapp will remove mediocrity with the exits of Bentley, Krancjar, Pienaar, Jenas, Crouch, Pavlyuchenko, Hutton, Palacios and Bassong following Woodgate, O'Hara and Keane. I am sure we will see more loan signings like Adebayor as the club balance the exits of mediocrity. Stop looking upon these loans as bad news, as getting Adebayor for £75k per week with Man City picking up the other £95k is hardly bad business.

Start believing again that the direction of Levy is right for the long term future of the club. Accept that no sensible club will compete against £100 million losses, and remember to get your Olympic Stadium season ticket as soon as possible as not even 80,000 will be enough for the most passionate fans in the world.

Well done Levy and Redknapp on giving us hope and pride again. Rest assured that there are many Spurs fans that can see your medium term plans and we are 100% supportive. As for those expecting Higuain, Aguerro, Ronaldo and Torres be patient as soon the Lilywhite Giant will wake from his sleep and conquer Europe.

Ho f*cking hum This could have come straight from a joint Levy/Redknapp statement.
Where do we begin? The stadium? You are so sure we will get it? Really? Who, apart from a Spurs supporter is going to agree that demolishing part of it and rebuilding it into a "proper" football stadium fits in with the whole "legacy" edict? I doubt that Joe Public will give a flying f*ck that we are offering to redevelop Crystal Palace Athletic stadium as THE Premiere Athletics track in the country when, in their eyes, they have all paid for the new Olympic stadium to do that job. Remember, not everybody likes Football, let alone Spurs, so the outcry that would follow IF we won the battle for the Stadium would cause massive aggro for us. Anyway, whats happened to the money good old Boris has pledged to redevelop and regenerate at WHL?
Squad size? Well Levy was in on that, so was Redknapp, some of the players were bought in by them too. We are now supposed to accept that the squad size and p*ss poor playing staff ( that nobody else wants either) is NOTHINg to do with Mr L and Mr R, they too are victims of previous regimes and they are busy beavering away to trim said squad and bring in a bit more quality. All this from a chairman that does his business at 23.59PM on Transfer deadline day and a "manager" that loves Crouchie "coz he gives us something different" Yeah harry, its piles for me, i cant be arsed to get off my seat to cheer the lanky tw*t. Trust in "arry" If he rates Crouch, he knows his horseflesh, right?
Final comment. Hope and pride? Yes, to a degree they have but it doesnt negate their poor decision making, poor choice in certain players, a top heavy squad, procrastination in the transfer market, blatantly lying to the supporters about redevelopment of WHL when, clearly, they have no intention of doing it and, finally, demonstrating, like no other, that one swallow really doesnt make a Summer.
Nobody has forgotten that the financial prudence of Levy has kept the club healthy and, im sure, we all appreciate that "arry" is a miracle worker but lets not go OTT, he came to a club with decent players, so poor was the previous manager ( Mr Ramos) even i could have got the club up the bloody table
Long term future? Is there?
We shall see.

Ed i ask that you post this post outside the poster know the full score ok
{Ed002's Note - I don't have any idea what you are talking about. The rest I deleted as it was less readable than the above sentence. As far as I can gather you are making accusations which are probably unfounded, and certainly not for discussion here.}

Well said super yod , does Arry and Levy think all spurs supporters are like stevie wonder ?? We dont want the olympic stadium , we want a stadium in Tottenham , helping and supporting our local people and business's .
We want good young players , skilful players , playing in the Traditional Spurs way , Not a load of predictable Arry's ex pets .
We want a manager with good tactical thoughts , not lump it up to beanpole and hope it falls to VDV , and finally ,
We want management that live up to their promises , and listen to the fans

Move to the olyimpic stadium. we areTottenham Hotspur. From Tottenham, at White Hart Lane. As for the signings, how many players mentioned that cant cut the mustard did harry buy, and how much loss are we going to make on them. Instead on Harry playing to the press, get on with the job of trying to make Tottenham Hotspur a top four side, instead of maklng excuses, remind me where did Martin Jol get us if not for the lasagna we would have made fourth, and that was with signings he dident want. Martin was a dutch Spurs fan from a child. not a sky smiler. dead wood of harrys out, decent manager in, because a blind mut must see what all fans know. 2 decent forwards, a bloody good centre half, oh yes Basson. one of harrys wonder signings, do me a favour. we are not one of the clubs raking in money from oil rich millionares so when harry spends our money, for goodness sake buy quality, basson pineer keane crouch wilson crunchie, just tell me what returns are we going to get for harrys smart dealings in the market. Long after harry and levy have gone Tottenham Hotspur will still be their. In Tottenham if down to the fans and not bloody newham

Ok ed lets put it into simpleton terms for you..
{Ed002's Note - You don't need to put it in "simpleton" terms for me, what you have stated is nonsense.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 002 let post a link for you ............... {Ed002's Note - I have not bid for any stadium - why are you struggling so much to accept that this is not a matter for discussion - take it elsewhere.}
