Hi Eds, is it true Holtby is going on loan to Leicester? Also after watching a round up of last nights match, and the fact Arry says he is looking for at least 6 more, doesn't he want Kane, Naughton, Rose and Dawson . A huge pile of rubbish, but should fetch in £15 million from the wheeler dealer!
Finally, heard that Sunderland is after Celtic's Dutch CH, surely we should be bidding here! Totally composed on the ball, good in the air, great positional sense, good tackler and scores goals!

i watched the game lamela was class lovely touches and scored 2 good goals he will take the prem by storm this season also davies played well and one player who has caught my eye is falque he looks a good player on a sad note dawson and rose come on 2nd half and they had the run around yet again toronto only scored when them pair were on all we need is 2 new defenders and a class striker and we will take off

Answer this question welsh gooner. If your 1st game of the season was against a Manchester club, us, Liverpool or the chavs, would arsene whinger have let your Germans miss that match? I bet not. Let's remember Lamela will be like a new signing this season. Just scored a brace against Toronto and the confidence is clearly oozing. COYS!

Lamela definately looked sharp, townsend looked like he was starting to play as a team . holtby is looking hungry as ever . still jus the defence that's lagging . love dawson but has to go, vlaar would be a nice upgrade, walker was looking like his old self, which will be like having a new signing . a striker, a lb and a cd still needed but definately getting there . coys .

Not sure about Vlar, was great in the WC but hasn't exactly set the PL alight while at Villa.

Vlaar is a below average centre half. He looked good in the WC because he had 4 defenders in the backline with him. I would look good if I had 2 other centre backs beside me!

He will be a terrible signing!

I don't know if any of you have been on our site today. but we (Arsenal fans) are getting very, very nervous about the way you lot are lining up this season. strength and depth!
Ben Davies is a GREAT signing! Frightening to think you're buying players like him and we're stuck with the likes Ozil and Sanchez. oh well, can't win them all!

Little IMO ozil is not was not better then eriksen. So you have bought Sanchez ( good player for barca) time will tell for you lot.

I think you will find and most of my gooner friends agree with me that ozil has been a complete waste of £42m. He had a good opening 4-5 weeks and since then he was rubbish. Also he was abysmal for Germany I'm the world cup. Can see Sanchez been a flop also. Enjoy the season anyway and we shall see what's what at the end of the season!

Davies, vlaar, vertonghen, walker .sounds to me a better defence than arsenals and without vermaelan, arsenal could struggle, they look very strong up front this year but if we get bony or destro then so will we . what an amazing year this is looking . as for gareth bales comments, what a muppet, having 3 of the best teams in the world and a pile of nobodies does not make a great league . I think real madrid and barcelona are becoming obscene, feel sorry for the rest of there league . tottenham, city, arsenal, chelsea, united, liverpool and everton and 13 dogged teams, that makes a great league .

Real Madrid have spent more on Bale, Roanldo and J-Rod than Ajax have EVER spent in their entire history. Puts it in some perspective given the amazing players Ajax have actually produced and developed themselves.

Little, you make me laugh. Last season after the opening game against Villa you all wanted to sack Wenger. Most of you really haven't a clue. Let's see Soldado was amoungst the top scorers in la liga. The premiership is totally different. Time will tell.

Littlespooner we have had lots of world cup winners we were the first club to have them in ardiles and villa and we had the GERMAN legend called klinsmann

What everyone has to remember is players take time to adjust to the premiership, however if sanchez and ozil were really that good would Barcelona and Madrid have sold them in the first place? This season will provide a lot of answers for a lot of clubs: how will Liverpool fare without Saurez, will Manchester United bounce back but more importantly how will the Tottenham signings from last year shape up, things are looking good for the new season and on the face of it Poch's first season should be one to be remembered

The only way to tell if an arsenal player has been successfull is to see how long it takes arsenal to sell them to their feeder clubs in Manchester. If Ozil was that great last season, he would already be in Manchester. If Sanchez is so great, then I hope he is only renting in london because he will be house hunting further north next summer.
