O'Hara to Wolves - £5m
Keano to LA -£1.8m

Total player sales in last window £27.8m.

Title contenders - my a###.

Once Harry takes the England job you'll be back where you belong - mid table.

FT

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Spurs are a good team there is no doubt about that. Are you close to winning the title? No, you are about as far as arsenal but not as far liverpool to Winning it.
Remeber you were playing against a team without the best defender in the league as well as the best box to box mid in world football today.
It would have been closer to 5-1 if they were playing. I'm being honest

Agree0 Disagree5

^FT so we are going back to where you are now ? Give Charlie Comolli our love wont you!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats "remember" pal. Thanks for your thirty seconds of wisdom.

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually if you read statistics the best two defenders were on the pitch ....

Lets console each other in peace for once. A loss is a loss whether you played well or not.

What are you on? You lost too, better wipe each other's tears here.

Already have , brilliant ! What bad losers !

Good losers have no ambition.

P gunner

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor P gunner , had to change his moniker from pool gunner as the Arse didnt like that , now sits halfway down the league table , gazing up , hoping , then hoping again , knowing that the Europa league awaits them at the best ! So , go play on your Fifa 11 , little boy , its the only way you are going to win anything !

You'd know....3 on the trot!

In response to previous quotes on Hulk, he is a goal scorer with great physical prssence there is no doubt about it but just because he's not in the pl doesn't make him any worse. Look at Modric we paid 16mill on him from a "lesser" league but knew he was class and he's proven that. Now 16mill is just as much a risk as 40mill... any player can flop.

For the past few seasons i have seen us come close to achieving set goals, i have seen us achieve a set goal! but more often than not i have seen us fail! so you would think we would go away and learn? come back stronger, smarter and more confident? you would think wouldn't you? someone is to blame for not making the most of the laid out plans, but who? some blame the manager others defend him! some blame the chairman others deffend him, some blame the players others defend them! so who is to blame? mr redknapp for not demanding the £25 million plus to aquire the striker we crave? is it mr levy for being to carefull with the money? we do need imho a striker and a left back! the thing with bae he is as good as he can be as he is as bad as he can be, is harry good enough to take us forward? is levy bold & brave enough to enable us to strengthen and move forward and are the players strong enough to to have toe belief that they are good enough to move forward?

sirbillynick

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Damn that's a lot of questions, you got any answers sirbillynick?
Personally I don't think there's much wrong when I think back to how crap we've been in the last 15 years. We lost to a team who have spent £250m!
Mo

Agree0 Disagree1

Their two main influential players (inhibit) were not present today! We seriously need to buy a forward! We need to buy someone of the quality of a cavani a llorente a higuain a damiao and possibly a baines, this is our most important window in years? We need to breath fresh air into the club! We want to keep bale, modric, vdv! We need champions league we need new blood

Ed , if the FA look at balotelli and lescotts challenges and suspend them , will they then suspend Webb , for making to crap decisions ??
Davo {Ed001's Note - unlikely that Webb will ever suffer any kind of punishment, despite the fact that he makes ludicrous decisions week after week. The problem is that every referee on the list is appallingly bad, they have no one better to take over!}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed001 - correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you a Utd fan? Surely you should like Webb! {Ed001's Note - that is the most insulting thing I have ever been called!!!! I am a Liverpool fan.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Balotteli stamp was clearly unintentional, the guy was adjusting his footing after a failed shot. He might be a bighead, but he didn't mean it.

Agree1 Disagree2

Your a dreeeemah gary! mario did exactly what he set out to do and now has been charged for it, not that mancini will mind, he got the 3 points and has the money to blow 20 mill on a 4 game replacement!

rufus

Agree0 Disagree1

A 4 game ban is totally inadequate.
he and lescott should be banned for minimum of 10 games.
perhaps they[and others] would think twice before undertaking these cowardly acts.they could have both resulted in serious injury, which could have impacted massively on our season and our aspiration for top 4[regardless of the fact that they should have both been off ,which would have seriously changed the course of yesterdays game and possibly the race for the title]
these days yellow cards are dished out for the most innocuos of challenges, yet a forearm smash which would have felled an elephant ,in the penalty area to boot, and a downward stamp, delivered intentionally with real menace and force, both go relatively unpunished, but with 3 massive points secured for the accused.

At 2nill down I thought about turning the telly off; but the fact we were inches away at 90+1mins shows how close our team now is.
Definitely closer then the 1 5 loss.
Lots of ifs and buts; at the end of the day; pound for pound we are punching above our weight. COYS!

Balotelli shouldn't have been on the pitch after that stamp in the face .... We were robbed yet again ..... What utter s**t
But king .... As much as I love him and he's a utter legend .... The only time we have lost when king is on the pitch is when he gives it away

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Come off it! When was the last time The King made a mistake like that? It happens. Lescott should never had been on the pitch either.

Agree3 Disagree2

I mis phrased that ... My bad
I meant it's ironic that his first loss this season is actually down to him ... I didn't mean it to sound like that
Bear yid

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I agree that Lescott shouldn't have been on the pitch as well only after seeing the replays though and not sure how much the ref saw .....
Coward Webb is another ref who needs to be demoted for that Parker incident ...

Bae had his worst game in a spurs shirt yesterday, what was he thinking smashing the ball hopefully up the field?!?! it was the 93rd min! nevermind balotelli, that was schoolboy stuff

You guys were really unlucky today - outplayed them. They have gone on to prove they are under HUGE pressure now into the second half of the season.

You guys deserved a win, if not atleast the draw.

MUFC_Devil

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Would much rather you won than citeh, you might have spent a lot but no where near on their scale, got where you are through imo the greatest manager in history. Do us a favour and hammer them! (but let us beat you at whl)

Let us win at whl history will tell you spurs always roll over for utd without so much of a wimper as they will again this season

To the guy who thinks Dawson is nothing more than a squad player, you might've been going to the lane for 35yrs mate, it ain't made you clever, dawson is an awesome player, and only the manc clubs wouldn't take him, although utd might at the moment. Dawson is committed in everything hes does for spurs, an england international, player of the year when we made the Champs league and never looked out of place in the champs league, take your season ticket and go down the road to the gooners, so called fans like you ain't needed.

However a CB is needed as cover for daws and Kaboul and not sure samba is the answer.. And if we get a class CF the season run in is gonna be interesting. Would love to see Huntlear

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Arry already stated when he took the job that he's pushing 70 and the Spurs Job would be the last job that he takes. That's why he's after a 2 year deal which would take him up to the ripe old age of 68.
