Pienaar and Saha are a disgrace! Makes me even more determined to get them out of our beloved club!

Anyways despite chelsea getting Champions league, I still expect Vertonghen, Ade, Foster and Hoilett to come and may be suprised at another big name, but sadly feel Luka will be gone.

My wish list that I believe could make us a title contender and the team of London:
GK:HUGO LLORIS
RB: WALKER
CB: KABOUL
CB: VERTONGHEN
LB: BALE
RM: LENNON
CM: PARKER
CM: VDV
LM: HAZARD
CF: ROSSI
ST: ADEBAYOR

SUBS.. Cudiccini, Defoe, Pienar, Rose, Sandro, BAE, Bently

Believable2 Unbelievable5

U r rite..all the player will leave their club to play europa league with spurs.up the spurs..haha

Agree3 Disagree0

Hazard no chance, and I mean none, hes goin to the mancs or chelski (what a shock he goes for the money after all), Rossi is still injured, adebayor won't take the pay cut and I wouldn't play Bale at LB anymore.

For me:
Lloris/Alder
Walker
Kaboul
Vertonghen
BAE
Lennon/Affelay
Modders/Allen/Strootman/Hud
Parker/Sandro
Bale
VDV
Huntlaar/Girould

Agree0 Disagree1

Your dreaming. With both mancs and Chelski chasing hazard we have no hope of signing him.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hazard is going to teams who can promise to challeng fr titles and f the future spurs cant sat they are because you have walker, bale & modric that is it! VDV is getting on even modric hasnt been a top team player. if you cant offer decent wage you will always come 4th, 5th but probably 6th. parker, lennon, defoe are hardly world class

PUT UP.... Mr Levy time to put up the cash for us to start challenging or put my beloved club up 4 sale. The latter 4 me. He will never bring us glory as he wants super stars for free and over the odds for our average players. He is here to line his own pockets and that is a fact.Times have changed and if we dnt change with them we will fall into a mid table club where we have been for 10s of years.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Just one question mr levy, just how much interest have we gained for putting the money we earned in cl season before last as we havent spent it on players

People on here are starting to embarrass me as a fellow Spurs supporter. If Chelsea got through very round , went to Barcelona and beat them and beat the Germans in their on back yard give them some credit , because we couldn't do that neither old muggy arsenal . Stop whining now and get o with things , we have parked the bus in from of goal , if I remember rightly it was against us he Special One coined phrase park the bus . It doesn't matter what football Chelsea played , I'm more worried about spurs , but I'm still man enough unlike many on here to congratulate Chelsea and tip my hat them , don't you think I wish that was spurs last night but the fact are it was Chelsea. Now Chelsea and the Gooners are laughing at us big time , i e deserve CL my verdict no Chelsea did because they bet all that stood before them . My advice no, get behind your club or jump on the Chelsea bandwagon .

Believable4 Unbelievable4

With respect, the vast majority of posts have no bitterness towards Chelsea at all. Im not sure why you are assuming that we are blaming Chelsea for delivering a trophy, the biggest one of all, by playing poorly. I dont think we are.
Most, like me, are p*ssed off with the fact that we put ourselves in a position where we were relying on a Munich win to get us champions league football when, no more than a couple of months ago, we were bang on to secure that whatever the result of last night. THAT is the issue, nothing to do with Chelsea whatsoever! Ive spent over 40 years behind this club and im fuggin tired of the same old, same old. People are now blaming Levy for all of this and i dont know why. Look up the facts online, we have spent a massive amount of money over the past five years, far more than a club with our ground capacity should ever have been capable of. That says levy is very shrewd with money. January transfer window? Wasnt it Harry who said we didnt need to get anybody unless it was someone "special?"Again, im sure levy would have put the money on the table if Redknapp had asked for it. As ive said before, our failure has to lay with the manager, the one who took the pats on the back when we were flying but, strangely, hasnt took the kick in the n*ts from the press and the media for overseeing our points and loss of form collapse towards the end of the season. Exactly why did he put Parker on when we needed a goal against Villa? I think we have a right to ask the questions and perhaps ask whether Redknapp really is the great motivator because he is certainly no great tactician.Naturally, to dare question the great Harry makes us all fickle and, to use his words when we questioned some of his tactics earlier this year " we dont know what we are talking about..." Well thanks Harry, i always knew you had such a high regard for us Supporters, its nice to know you think we know absolutely f*ck all!!
We all feel a bit sore at the mo, maybe i will feel better in a week or two but, somehow, i doubt it because even if we keep the players that want to go, will their hearts be in it? Will they REALLY want to play for us? How good a draw will we be to top class pros if we do have to sell? we cant compete with wages and we cant offer them the Holy grail of cup competitions nor can we be certain of offering it anytime soon. We have a mountain to climb, whatever way you look at it and with other clubs on our tail there is no certainty we will reach the summit.Doom and gloom? Well yes because unlike that small select handful of clubs out there who can throw hundreds of millions at a problem and/or have a massive worldwide reputation and are a "Premium brand" we arent! We wont be able to spend, spend, spend and that player who we and Liverpool/Inter/Man U/ Munich ( delete as appropriate) are chasing is more likely to join one of them than one of us. Fact of life: Success brings success, brings top players in. Sh*t loads of money brings top players in. We dont have either. Im gutted

Calm down all of you calling for the head of Harry and Levy, we are THFC and we will never do anything according to plan.
Yes; this is a MAJOR dissapointment to us all, but Levy has already shown before that any transfers will be done on the terms whic are in the intrerest of THFC.
The facts are that the top players at are club are still on long contracts, so IF the club decides to sell, then BIG transfer fees will be required, which we can use to rebuild again, but I honestly dont think we will have a major exodus, with the exeption of probably Modric (£30m) which used wisely can in fact make us stronger next season.

Arsenal- made a huge mistake in letting RVP's contract run down to the final year, he will go for sure, and they will find it difficult to replace him next year.

Chelsea- now that Roman has acheived his ambition of winning the CL, Chelsea fans need to hope and pray his is still commited to the club in the forseable future? (life without Roman may be very different)

Keep your heads held high Spurs fans, everbody knows we play some of the best football in the PL, and we have had a set-back, but we can and will come back stronger from the experience next year!

Clearly you should be pissed off as Tottenham fans, as third place should of been a sure thing. However, as we know, in football things do not always go as expected. Considering when Harry came in you were in the realistic threat of relegation and now your regularly competing for top four, has it really been that bad? I'll be interested in seeing how Tottenham approach this summer, doubt you'll spend big but you can't let Bale and Modric go otherwise you'll become a selling club like Arsenal. Good luck next year (as long as it doesn't affect chelsea), the Europa leagues not that bad, look how happy Liverpool are to be in it.

I still believe we could be title contenders next season if one or two star names go. All we need to do is be bold in the transfer window in the summer.
First we need a new goalkeeper to replace Brad Friedel. I mean, don't get me wrong I think he's fantastic but he is getting old now and his future with Tottenham will end soon due to retirement. I think we should buy Hugo Lloris from Lyon.
We also need a new centre-back. It's likely it will be Vertonghen from Ajax. All we need now is Levy to pay up.
As Adebayor is going back to Man City amd Defoe is likely to leave, we need to get 2 good strikers. I would love to see Cisse from Newcastle and Huntelaar join us. That wiuld be great!
If Modric and Bale are going to leave, we deffinetely need another centre-midfielder who can replace Modric as a fantastic playmaker and a fast winger to replace Bale.
We need other players to for replacements due to our bad releasings of replacements in January.
I think we should also try and get players for free such as Owen from Manchester Untd.

I believe we can be great again. COYS!

What makes me laugh is assnal fans wanting chelski to be the first London club to win CL
Says alot about your thoughts of your own club

Haha.....you couldn't make it up

Where as our chairman has balls and will not allow our top players to leave unless it on his terms

Who cares who is the first team in london to win the champs league? i think every arsenal fan was justified in supporting chelsea that night instead of supporting a german team over a club that comes from england, you need to sort your priorties out.

Not sure its true but heard , and it is mentioned on gooners banter page , that Levy is going to take EUFA to court over CL place . What is up with the man ?? Concentrate on getting some decent players in , not wasting our money on legal fees ! Didnt we waste enough on fighting for the olympic stadium ?? We are not in the CL , that is Arry's and Levys fault for buying crap and not investing whern everyone knew we needed too . Look to next season , get us some decent players and stop strutting around like a spoilt kid . It also said that modders and benny want out and that Bale has a meeting next week . Let Bale know that he is going no where , and sell modders and benny to the highest bidders . Let the other clubs know they are for sale , how much and to either put up or piss off ! If players dont want to play , get rid for the best price possible , and if the players dont want to go to the highest bidders , then shove them in the reserves for a couple of weeks to let them know who their employers are ! So fed up of the management at this club and their lack of ambition ! Should be used to it , its been happening for years . Have to admit it but we are similiar to the gooners , their management doesn't give a f**k either !!

The difference is we will keep mod and bale, levy had already proved that but when your talent wants to leave, your club just rolls over and takes it.
The difference is we are not a feeder club for Europe's elite. You are.
So bye bye RVP.
I must admit, podolski does not give me sleepless nights. You have signed another chamack.
Haha.....see you next season arsenal

Haha typical spud.
Mate for one, RVP won't be leaving. We also have M'vila on his way, along with a few signings that our I admit FINALLY going to happen. Thats not the point though. Face it Bale and Modric want champions league. Which you can't offer. The difference is no matter what happens to the Arsenal, Tottenham will forever be in our shadow. Just face it. As for Podolski, well no wonder your a spud. Podolski is a beast, I suggest you do your research. Yup see you next season spuds, MIND THE GAP. You'll be a mid table club next season. No History.

The fact we missed out on the champions league now there aint no point talking bout big names coming to us lets be honest,if we could still get the ajax defender and remy and holiett be still good signings, but have strange feeling it will be free transfer and bargains again

Believable5 Unbelievable1

With no CL, I would say our transfer budget has been slashed.
Not qualifying has prob cost us modric's value in money terms.
Bargain basement and free's again I think.
I think we can def put the damio rumours to bed now.
I'm still hoping for the one's you mentioned. All migh not be lost then

Agree3 Disagree0

Yea mate if we could get remy and holiett and vertoghen id be very happy with that if im being honest the fact we have no CL but i would take a gamble aswell on kone thats hes a free agent as were being linked with him he cud be like a BA for us like the way he started the season for newcastle,so if we signed remy, holiett, vertaghen cant spell his name, and kone and keep bale and modric if we could id be happy with that

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Yes I love Spurs but do I REALLY have to stick by them?
Am I happy to get mugged off next season by having to pay for some of the most expensive tickets and merchandise in the Premiership for a team that will, almost certainly, lose, if not in body, in mind ( think about it) some of our best players and maybe have them replaced with players that cannot possibly be as good? Am I happy for levy to still not have his finger out of his a*** and STILL not even have the first fuggin hole dug for our new stadium? Ferchristsakes, how long will it be before they start building it?! The money is in place, the plans are in place, right? Oh yeah, nobody is sure now whether we will have a team good enough to attract enough supporters into our new stadium to be viable and, possibly, a lack of Champions league Football will mean that we cant afford to pay for it anyway...DOH!!!
All doom and gloom is it? Er, yeah, I think it is. Lets just hope none of our best get transfered to other Premiership clubs then, surely, we really dont want to make those rivals stronger and us weaker, do we?

Seen as we've missed out on champs league, im not sure where it leaves us with transfer targets and money to spend. But I do know that Redknapp should get sacked for costing us to miss out. Let Modric go as he would only cause tension in the camp again. bring in David Moyes, give him a reasonable transfer budget and lets build for the long run.

We can still sign good players!
Jan Vertonghen - He said he wants to join with Champions league or without it, if he don't join now, i don't want him, a liar.

Adam Johnson - Bale will probably leave now :'( but a good replacement is adam johnson, £12M should secure him.

Luuk De Jong - Future of Holland and the next Van.P £10-£15M will get him.

ricky van wolfswinkel -This guy can finish. Also, Netherlands and has a good record.

Deigo - Modric will leave and we need a replacement, deigo is an ideal replacement.

COYS, We could do nothing about last nights result so keep your head held high!

Still sign good players? Really? How? All the players you have mentioned have also been linked to other clubs, clubs that could and would pay more in wages and some who can offer Champions league football next season.
My head isnt being held high, Im seething!!!! We threw it away, absolutely threw it all away. We should never have had to rely on Chelsea losing, never!
Your attitude makes me want to puke TBH, its like you really think everything is going to be alright! Its not!! We cannot offer the wages and we cannot offer Champions league football so the players you seem to think will come running to us wont. Last nights result has set us back years. We will lose our best players and have to replace them with players with "potential" or players well travelled and not that great. This is such a kick in the gonads for us that our chance to cement ourselves as a top four club has now been made virtually impossible. Chelsea will be back next season and so will Liverpool. How about you stop being the eternal optimist and start facing up to the realities?

Last nights result wouldnt have mattered if we hadnt thrown third place away.If you dont get that, its your issue, I dont care either way.Vertonghen? Maybe he is, maybe he isnt.Give us your ITK contacts if you have the guts, in other words put up or shut up. Just because you have read it in the papers doesnt make it true. This forum is full of d*ckwads who relay paper talk because they are not "ITK". If you really are, have the b*lls to back it up with fact or forever look a tw*t. Why are you sure de Jong wont want to go there? You his personal assistant or something? Indeed, why wouldnt he want to go there, a club that is well know at all corners of the globe, has a massive fanbase, can pay better wages and offer bigger and better opportunities to win trophies than us? 20 May 2012 08:43:57
Ok, One of the most one sided CL finals and the worst team won, just our luck really.
Onto the finer points now, firstly I'd like to say Goodbye to Modric, Bale, BAE and Ade. No chance of any staying, no CL next term and we onlly play second string in the Europa, think its bloody stupid we play consistant over 38 games to earn a right at the top table, chelsea scrap through 9 and get there automatically. On the exit front i also think that any decent offers for Walker, Sandro,VDV and Lennon will lead to these players also seeking moves.
Who will come in? Well we can safely wave goodbye to targets like vertoghen, damaio, hazard (although he was never really gonna happen), Ganso and even Remy wouldn't come now (Not that I'd wnat him)
Think this transfer window will now be freebies, unknowns and OAP's, no class no ambition no CL for a long time now. Next Season top 4 will be from Man City Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Assnal.
With Us, the geordies and everton fighting for 6th 7th and 8th.

I hope I am wrong and we can keep our players and give it 1 more go next year and realise the potential of the club but i just cannot see it.

THFC4EVER

Believable4 Unbelievable1

This should be the end of the line for Harry Redkapp. we went 10 games with just 1 win to our name under him......Pathetic. Harry MUST GET SACKED.

Jermain

Agree3 Disagree1

I do not agree that we will lose all our best players.i think Levy showed last summer with Moderic that he wants to keep our best players. Losing out on CL was a disaster and I feel gutted. However, the damage was not done last night. It was done by Del Boy between his court case and all the hype about the England job. Spurs were of no interest to him during this period and it showed on the pitch. We lost a 13 point lead over Arsenal despite them losing to Wigan and QPR, drawing with Norwich. We were pathetic since Christmas. I also blame Levy. He is tight fisted. We all knew and shouted for a center back and top class striker in the last window. We got Nelson and Saha. Levy thought we were far enough ahead and would easily secure third with the aquad we had. We all know what happened. In one game we had King and gallas playing at Cb and we got slaughtered. Well his reluctance to spend last January has cost us an estimated 40 million for non CL qualification. With CL qualification and 40 million we could have signed 2 class defenders and a top class striker.

I think they showed the bad side of the prem league last night. The rest of Europe will not be worried

Your bitter and twisted , they are the heroes of England , so lets get behind them for once the English have won something. they have had a lot of bad luck and dodgy decisions in the past so will would be grudge them a little luck , probably the Norweign ref that cheated them in the semi final against Barcelona. so come on be a man and admit they deserved to be Kings of Europe !

Believe me my friend, chelski are by far the best in Europe
We got everything we deserved by throwing it away. I'm not bitter at all. It is not down to chelski that we are not in CL. It is down to our players and manager.
I personally am commenting on negative football. Parking the bus. Chelski seem to have got very good at doing that. Even loserpool had you on the ropes in fa cup.
We got what we deserved. Your last 3 CL opponents didn't get what they deserved, neither did you.

I personally think that if you lose modric, he really isnt that big a loss. Just like Arsenal losing cesc....1 man is easily replaceable (unless hes a superstar, like messi or ronaldo)

And also, who do you think you will attract now that your in europa?

I saw names like vertonghen and remy in previous posts..but do you think they will still be signed now?

cheers

Doubt any big boys will want to come to us. Harry ruined us whilst he was being linked with the england job.

Luka will probs be the only big boy to leave in my opinion. Bale has to much class to just stand up and walk right away.

I expect Mod to go, hopefully to a club in Spain, think Bale will stay for at least 1 more season.

Gunner here, I'll probably get stick from my fellow gooners, but im gutted that newcastle, or yourselves didn't get in ahead of Chelsea.

Chelsea achieved semi final, and final wins in the champions league by having 8-9 players in there own half at any time, hitting Bayern and barca on the break and defending like idiots.

And now they're "champions of Europe" with plaudits coming in from big managers and names in the game, about how they played a brilliant game etc etc, yet you can bet your house, that If Arsenal, or Everton or yourselves, or generally any team that isn't Chelski or the manc clubs had done that, then they'd be slated for it, and said that they were playing nervy football, or that they're clinging on.
It drives me mad, I'd much rather a team that would of gone out there and played the game, and got hammered 4-0 than a team who played for extra time.

I agree mate. Chelsea do not deserve to be in the champions league next season with their negative football. I don't blame the rule that cost us champions league next season, I blame our average, boring manager who was only able to take 3 points in 10 games. i think 90% of tottenham fans would love to rip into that pathetic man Harry.

To the Arsenal supporter did you say the same thing when Graham was in charge

Jermain go and have a lie down for the sake of your blood pressure , I am Spurs through and through . Chelsea deserved it . A Gooner is a Goon and forget when they dived and cheated their way to a season un beaten . Tonight I salute the Kings of Europe Chelsea . Jermain face the facts pal.

Well that's us up s**t creek! I now fear for a long summer of rumours that modders/bale/sandro/walker are jetting off to various places and the likes of owen/holt/gordon/seedorf are going to be the replacements! hope im wrong and sir harry and sir levy pull out the master strokes but i really fear for us this summer!

Go to customer care on Tottenham website and tell them what you think. Let them know what Redknapp has just made us suffer through and the knockon effects...
Its simple, troutface has to go.
The small rich clubs are taking over and get ALL the luck. I just 2nt believe all the bad luck thats come our way and yet Chelsea were lucky in sn many games this season its sickening. Anyother night Bayern would of won by 5,6 with the chances they had.
Seeing filth like Terry and Drogba like that is a killer.
Hope uefa clamp down on them.

Well there we go, a farcical season off the pitch, blew plenty of chances on it, seen crazy and/or rotten decisions costing us in our games and others then, the miracles of Chelski vs Barca and Bayern that you couldn't make up. I said an English team would finally do a Germsn one on pens and I bet on it as well.
Don't expect much in the way of big signings but do expect a similar summer of trying to keep our best players and some fringe movements.
Top 4 will be extremely unlikely next year as Chelski push back and if Scousers get a decent manager and loads of money again. A very pivotal day for us and it's very bad news.
A laughing stock to all our rivals again, doesn't it feel great to keep being that.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I have to confess I am a gooner but have not come on here to beat on you.

Just wanted to say that Spurs have been unlucky to crazy proportions and it could of happened just as easily to us.

No hard feelings and I hope London kicks Manchester next year

5pur2 team for next year:
Friedel
Walker Gallas Koboul Rose
Lennon? Parker? Sandro? KranjĨar
Defoe? Van Der Vart?
Modric, Bale, Assou-Ekotto are all gone.
? = 50/50 if they will leave
Walker hasn't got a '?' due to the fact he signed contract recently .. but he wont be at you for long.
Good luck ;)
