Arsenal fan here coming in peace. I have to say Sigurdsson is looking like a great buy for you, a bargain; the next Lampard.

HP

Tbh he looks like the kind of player you guys need imo, maybe a bit too forward minded. For me the player that was never replaced from the invincibles was Viera. Moussa Sissoko is who I would want if I was an arsenal fan. Just my thoughts.

Should listen to HP and his rumours hes got plenty of sources

I have a feeling we are in for Andy Carroll, he was meant to be flying out for Liverpool's europa game which would have cup tied him and he has now pulled out due to a mistery injury.
He also stated he only wants to move to a team playing in europe.
Let me no your thoughts, i personally think its not a bad move as without CL we cant attract big names.
Also thing we will go for Rossi and wait till Jan and the JD will leave.

Bucky O Hare Suarez, Pienaar chose Tottenham over you lot eventhough you offered him higher wages.
The Russian you have running your club said last year he wanted Chelsea to be 'self sufficient' did he not?! But guess what Bucky, you aint a big enough club to do that and that is why Abramovich is trying to buy everything again. Chelsea are a disgrace and it was Chelsea that ruined football. The luck you had winning the Cl was unbeleivable, it will never happen again. Everyone hates Chelsea you have no class, tradition or style.
If buying like this makes you happy then so be it but Tottenham are a proper run club.

Lol spurs guvnor you lot make me smile all your talk a month ago was about a kuwait family of billoinares taking over and you were all soo excited but alas it was not to be now you just spout off about lucky this lucky that bla bla bloody bla get over us winning everything with our sugar daddy and try checking your own spending stats we all love roman do you all love levy errrr NO enjoy spursday nights again its not that bad LOL

Agree2 Disagree9

May well have chosen spurs but the haste he showed to go back o Everton seems to suggest he regreted going to Spurs.
It was kenyon that said about Chelsea becoming self sufficent and that was about 4 years ago.
I would suggest that you look into spurs past in terms of problem with their finances.
As for not winning he CL again well you may be right but then again did you think that they would have one it this year.

Agree1 Disagree4

As for buying things lets take a look on day one at the two clubs (Chelsea & Spurs) and compare the number of players that have come hrough the two respective youth set ups. My guess is that neither club will have more than one or two so I guess that would mean both clubs have brought their teams!

Agree1 Disagree3

Why keep going on with this ? Everyone knows its true that without Roman , Chavski would be a mid table team every year . But they have him and his money so what ? They have a manager without a tactical brain , older players at the club who run the team and then toss out their dummies till they get their own way , and so many good players who like at sh***y will end up warming the bench .The proof will come with the cold weather , when the posers will come out with the gloves , long shorts and neck warmers , and still finish mid table . They parked the bus last season , but clubs will find a way past it this season and then they will be stuck ! And yes , I dont think there is a supporter around who wouldnt love to have a sugar daddy funding their club !!
Davo

Agree0 Disagree3

Pienaar went to Spurs, but realised how bad you lot were and went bad! Hehe!

PR!

Agree1 Disagree3

Yet again Davo you type without research. Park the bus? In three games maybe Chelsea were set up to defend (how do you think Spurs would have approached these games and what would have been the outcome)but come on Spurs scored only one league goal that Chelsea last year, Chelsea scored more goals in the FA cup than Spurs of course discounting the final because you werent there. As for the CL Chelsea were in the top three scoring teams all the way through the various groups and rounds.
I do agree that had RA not come in we wouldnt be where we were . But he did. Just like we could argue that if Alan Sugar hadnt saved Spurs there probably wouldnt be a Spurs.
I do agree that the FFP rules are a sham and anyone with a brain would realise that UEFA have neither the will or desire to damage the CL as a money earner its all about them making jestures . All clubs know the guidelines around FFP and one of the major ones was go into the first of the periods with a big loss so you can show that you in the subsequent years your figures an improvement. (it gives you a get out o jail card)
You may well be right about how the new signings adapt, you might be wrong.
I love the way you say RDM hasnt a tactical brain and then say we parked the bus. Best ask yourself in those 3 games (Barcelona twice and Bayern) did that just happen or maybe it was called a game plan.
As for mid table come on look at the stats . Since the start of the EPL how many times have Spurs finished above Chelsea and for many many of those years RA wasnt even around.
But hey why let the facts get in the way of a warped view!

Agree3 Disagree1

At last a spurs fan with a quarter of a brain cell of course you would love to be as rich as romans army but mid table next season get real 1 bad season in the league [ avb clueless ] and suddenly your prem contenders and were a mid table team lol we will see when avb is sacked by december and you finish out of the top ten you have one good player in bale the rest wouldnt fit in our b team get real and get over it

Agree2 Disagree2

5th 5th 4th 5th 4th last few seasons. Please explain reasons why you think we are mid table team. All achieved with lot less money than chavs and mancs.

Should have put the amount of money spent over those years to to achieve that. History started then in 1998 go back bit further and see how poor you were then before the money when you couldnt earn it like we have.

Agree2 Disagree1

Could have gone further back if you wanted that isalreadt 5 years b4 our sugar daddy came so your aruement is floored

Got some ITK. For yous bois!
AVB is apparently keeping tabs on a player from Croatian superliga team FK Jagodina.
He's a a midfielder and a hotly tipped Croatian youth prospect affectionaly known by the fans and staff as 'The Ginger Prince'. Although technically gifted he's apparently a bit mad.
We shall see. More on this as soon as I get it.

Wiggidy wiggidy WAC!
You heard it from......

Sigurdsson is looking more and more like a bargain. He definitely deserves to start the season in the 'behind the striker role'!
If VDV is fit, he should start on the right of the striker, with Bale on the left (or up front perhaps?! :-) )

----------------Friedel------------
Walker---Kaboul---Vert---Ekotto
----------Sandro----Hudd--------
---VDV----------Sig-------Bale---
--------------Adebayor-----------

Permitting Adebayor is signed, or replace with different/new player...

Hass

Believable2 Unbelievable1

The problem with that team for me is that the only real pace comes from bale. We were most dangerous when we had two quick wingers last year. Thats why I think we need another winger as well as GK, Modders replacement and striker(s)

Steed

Agree0 Disagree0

If VDV is gonna play on the right we might as well bring back Arry. Lennon right all day long.

Harry kane??seen him on a number of occasions.championship standard! need TWO quality strikers in.need moderic out now and GDS who is unhappy,KO is couple weeks away and need to bed player in and start with max strength, why is it always same thing....rumour after rumour but nothing happens? Levy you have been bold enough to sack a good manager and take a punt on AVB(thats fine) but we NEED a potent strike force AND top drawer playmaker NOW!!or its4th/5th at BEST and that is not a " new era" that is same old same old COYS

Ive been saying this for the past 3/4 weeks now

Guys, look at tonights line up against NY red bulls.

We are playing with 6 established midfielders with no striker.
I'm not watching the game, but from the looks of the live twiter feed it seems as if Bale is playing upfront and he may even be wearing the number 9 shirt again.

Is Bale upfront for next season a possibilty? What do you lot think?

Good in the air, stupid amounts of pace, can finish... why not

Tbh I'd rather we bought centre and play bale where he belongs ie LW, just my opinion

Ed001 are you saying Tottenham offered Joe Cole more than 90,000 a week?
Brendan Rodgers brownnosed Liverpool fans when he said his pathetic version of the Siggurdson deal, just accept that Tottenham are a better club nowadays eventhough Liverpools wage bill is a lot higher than Tottenhams! Charlie Adam illustrated to us just how bitter Liverpool Fc is.

spurs guvnor {Ed001's Note - no, Cole is on 70k a week, the media added on the signing bonus, which is paid over the length of his contract, to his actual wages. Spurs offered slightly more, not much more, but slightly more. I have no idea what Rodgers said, but I do know that Liverpool never made any bid to Hoffenheim. As for the rest, does it really matter? The Liverpool wage bill is higher, that is why FSG are trying to lower it and why incoming players are on much lower wages than players there prior to them.}
