For the Avb lovers. We are now 8th sitting behind teams like west ham Everton west brom . Granted we have injury problems but still think the team we have been putting out are better then the above ( no disrespect) so then it's up to the manager to get the best out of them like formation, tactics before and during the game and also motivation.... Now think about y we are giving him a bad time. The guy had arguably the best team in the prem last year and
Still managed to balls up.. This guy wouldn't win jack rubbish with barca... So the quicker he's out the better

Couldn't agree more Mr G. Levy looks for the cheap get out all the time.
George.

Mr g, why come on this site to say these things? This is meant to be for SUPPORTERS of spurs, not doom and gloom spreaders.
Get behind ABV or go home

You Fool: ill be spurs till i die and every week ill support my team and the manager NO MATTER WHAT.....BUT dosent mean i like it... you think i dont wanna come on this site week in week out and congratulate AVB..but week in week out he is making the same mistakes..... id love him to prove me wrong and ill be the first to admit im wrong BUT i cant see that happening......As a supporter i want to see improvement each year for the club..

Spoken like a true supporter mr g :
I too would love AVB to succeed just so my beloved team is also doing well . But while we have Levy controlling the purse strings , we will have trouble . And by the time he eases the purse strings , if we aint in the top 6 or 7 , players are not going to want to come anyway !

Davo we dnt always agree but on this one we are thinking alike.... I'd also like to praise levy too, just like I did when we signed modric and vdv... But I can't see him doing that again... Otherwise he would have

I think we are forgetting spurs got beat 5-2 with harry rednapp and 11 players, AVB got beat 5-2 with 10 players and its a crisis! give him a break, the guy is having little luck...after a dream start everything goes against him! c'mon cut the guy some slack! does not deserve this criticism!

Different times and squads. We scored 9 against Wigan... Will Avb do that ??
Mr g

Agree3 Disagree3

Yeah we had VDV and Modric back then, we all know how terrible they were...

Agree1 Disagree0

What a load of crap.
for example....when did we last win at man u?comparing results against specific teams means jack all.

stop bitching and give the man some support.

chelsea are now implementing what avb tried to do,albeit too quickly.the squad age has reduced and the old guard are disappearing, replaced with younger players.
we're 12 games into his reign, with a depleted squad[which isnt his choice by the way].the team will improve when injured players return, new players the manager wants are recruited, and the players adapt to avb's training and playing methods.
then will be the time to assess his impact.
yes hes made mistakes, but seems to be learning from those .
the -players are certainly playing for him so there seems to be no dressing room issues.
constantly griping and bitching will only undermine the team,so lets show our support.

Fot rhe life of me I cannot belive the hard time AVB is getting on here! On saturday spurs were in control and got the dream start, arsenal couldnt get thru and cause any damange and the high line gave them no space to play! everything was going to plan untill ady thought he was bigger than the game and got sent off! I cannot understand how AVB ca be criticised for the result! I honest;y see real potential in spurs with AVB and when everyone is fit! the man deserves a change, get off his back! it wasnt his fault!

Believable7 Unbelievable1

AVB needs to win games for the fans to get off his back it's as easy as that! Spurs want to play in the CL next season not 3 years down the line.

Agree3 Disagree0

Nah I get that 100% but the criticism he is getting for saturday is I think a bit out of line. I can see potential in his team set up and philosophy when everybody is fit. He deserves a chance in ideal circumstances, something he hasnt had yet

Agree4 Disagree0

Listen to this man, he speaks sense.

Agree1 Disagree0

There might be potential there , but theres potential in my sons sunday league team . Its no good if he isnt unlocking the potential , and everyone is going on about the injuries :
Parker - Sandro much better all round
Bae - A liability waiting to happen
Kaboul - Very much missed
Dembele - too very much missed
Anyone else ?
We have to face facts , and we dont have the back up to cover . We are now down to one maybe decent CF : Where is our superb sprayer of the ball , Hudd , I dont think so , Not good enough or quick enough .Everyone including Levy's wife knew we needed a decent CF , and we got Dempsey ????
The manager insists on playing one of the slowest CB's in the league , funny enough he is even slower than Daws .
Stupid mistakes are being made from chairman down to manager , and when will Levy realise he needs to spend ? If results go wrong this weekend we will be what 13th ?

I feel that the season will all come right at the end of the day. Last year we looked all but certain to get Champions League football, only to have the unexpected misfortune of an end of season flop and Chelsea winning the Champions League. This year things look less straight forward, but I expect AVB to turn the New Year into glory. His pressing high line and shape makes sense, contrary to what many people write AVB does have a medium term plan. We are missing some real class through injury, and have many new players no to mention the new style of football. In addition we have a warchest which we still haven't spent, so hardly the doom and gloom many elude to.

Let's stop a moment and look at AVB supportingly. Imagine a January with Gomes, Dawson, Jenas, & Bentley all gone. Imagine we used our warchest on player like Huntelaar & Willian. Imagine BAE, Kaboul alongside Vertonghen and Parker to share the load with Sandro. How different the side would look if there was only 2 new players.

So give AVB a little longer to demonstrate his brilliance, the system will work, players will gel and once he has spent the warchest then judge him. I very much doubt the team out on Saturday would be able to beat this one;

Lloris
BAE
Kaboul
Vertonghen
Walker
Sandro
Dembele
Bale
Willian
Lennon
Huntelaar

With a bench pick from;
Freidel
Gallas
Caulker
Naughton
Livermore
Carroll
Parker
Huddlestone
Dempsey
Sigurdsson
Adebayor
Defoe

So give him time and 2013 might not be so unlucky for Spurs.

The Oracle

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Another good post Oracle, for all the rubbish you've posted in the past you are at least more optimistic and a truer supporter than some of the "fans" on here.

Agree5 Disagree1

Wow , The Oracle still lives in dreamworld ! Still at least Damio has gone ! There is no way we will get Willan , or even Huntelaar either ! And at the rate we are going , by the time the January window comes we might be lucky to be in the top ten . Wow , all the mentioned players will want to come then , wont they .
Ps . Dont forget , that warchest has been sitting there for at least three seasons , with Levys grubby hands resting on it !
Davo

Davo,
Read the spurs rumours page.
Oracle has regressed!!
Only a matter of time before the words damaio and stadium came out of his mouth.

I was all for giving avb a chance but i think we have seen enough. The fact he holds faith with gallas is a mark of a man with no idea. Saturday he should have played dawson not gallas who is clueless. Not sure if caulker was injured but vertoghen would have been better on the left.
Huddlestone is not good enough yet he still plays him.
Levy needs to sort it out. We need another striker and a creative midfielder like moutinho.
But i think the writing is on the wall for avb. He has replaced free flowing attacking football with stuttering confused inept football. Players look lost or unsure of what to do. I know injuries have not helped and iam sure signings were not avb's but at the end of the day he just is not doing the job. One good result against manx and that is it.

Levy time to weild that axe again and take a good long look at yourself and your part in this.

Errrrrrrrrrrrr hello !! have you seen our injury list . Its not rocket science geezer !Thats why Hud is playing and get off Billy G`s back, hes a damn sight better than Michael Hoooof it to no one Dawson. And FFS man leave AVB alone give him a chance, vent your anger at Levy for nit buying the players AVB wanted ! COYS TTID
