Rose has to go. He is not up to the standard required. He was our one weakness today.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ironically our win ratio is almost twice as high when Rose plays.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's probably because we're playing with a proper left back rather than Rose being a great player - that being said I personally think Rose is alright

Agree0 Disagree0

He's getting his chance but looking iffy to me so far. Could have done without his injury so we know how good he can be after a reasonable run of games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rose is, at best, a 2nd string player. We need a good LB in order to move forward.

Great performance today, and congratulations to Sherwood for the job he has done so far.
Thought Chiriches, Dembele, Eriksen and Adebayor were all particularly impressive!
Add to this the return of Vertonghen, Sandro and Lamela and that is a brilliant 'core' of a team!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Congrats to Sherwood but, after seeing the LVG interview, he won't be our manager next season.
Levy craves worldwide attention for our club, LVG brings that. He basically layed himself on a plate for levy to employ him in the summer (in my opinion it's already a done deal since December).
So what happens if Tim gets top 4?
What will levy do?
Will levy secretly want us to finish outside top 4?
Our business for the rest of the window will say a lot about the way we are going. Will Tim step aside if we get top 4? Levy, I guarantee, will try his best to employ a world known manager after the World Cup. I'd bet my house on that. Now, if we get top 4 and/or the Europa league, what will happen? It could be the final nail in Levy's coffin if he gets it wrong.

Yea, all the Ade haters can now hide their heads in shame. U know who u are!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I won't be hanging my head in shame at all. The guy disrespected our team, if your ok with this then fine but I still think he is a disgrace!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leave it out Spurs1985 Lol, he is the best striker at the club for his all round play yes he is sometimes lazy but if AVB had have played him then he just may still be in a job, didn't Robbie Keane say he was a Liverpool fan! and still came back to play for us! Ade's goals scored to games played for all Prem teams is 1 in just over 2 games he was great today, so let's back him when he puts a shift in! COYS

Agree0 Disagree0

Only a matter of time sadly. When he is committed great but we all know he will get upset about something and will start sulking

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on yellow card! let's hope that sulk stays away . I also won't hold my
head in shame, he totally disrespected our club . The only way he can get back any respect is playing to his full potential on the pitch and not stopping, so far he is trying, let's see how long that lasts!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yiddo1972, I don't understand what your going on about? I have no problem with players supporting other teams. It's the Tweet he did with Ekotto after the Liverpool game, totally disrespectful! He hasn't even apologised for it that I'm aware of. Yes his goals have gone along way to helping us be where we are but would still rather lose games than have him playing. Still it's only my opinion and as I don't pick the team I cannot do anything about it so will just accept it. If he keeps up the scoring then it'll be easier for me to accept. And yes if AVB had played him he would've still been in a job as apparently Levy told him to play him or lose his job. All that said I do agree he was awesome today so fair play to him and I hope it continues.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all know Adebayor blows hot and cold and I feel you can see what his performance is going to be like after about 5 minutes of the game starting, if he's up for it there's no stopping him, but if he isn't, then we all know how he performs.

As far as the tweet goes I have seen him in many pictures doing the same pose, far before the Liverpool game. He did apologise if it caused offence but denied that it was on purpose.

Agree0 Disagree0

For now it appears as goes Ade so go the Spurs . Let's hope he has a full half season in him cause no one else has shown the ability to find the back of the net with consistency yet. Maybe if Tim can keep him motivated they will both get what they want . Tim another year and Ade another contract.

Is Dembele a defensive midfielder? Or is Bentaleb?
Sorry for my dumbness!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ps : just wondering when someone is going to play with a bit of steel in the middle . Shelvey, of all people, seems to be doing what he wants! Who is our defensive midfielder?

Agree0 Disagree0

Was worried at first as they seemed to run the middle of the park, but can't moan at the performance! Fully deserved 3 points!

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's see how we line up against City the first real test under the new management. Also want to see how the players react after what happened at the Etihad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Both are naturally attacking midfielders.

But, they're more box-to-box players, so they can play defensive if need be.

Hope that helps!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks SpursDave, bit worried when we don't play at least one defensive midfielder! Still City next, need to get some sort of revenge, maybe just 4-0 this time!
