I know this is pure fantasy but what about making a bid for Jovetic. 20m for a class act and proven in europe. If we can pay his wages then I think he would take us to the next level. Not only is he great, but his acquisition would signal our intent to Europe and getting players after that would be easier. Him with a striker would be mouth watering. Add another quality midfielder and we're world beaters

just a quick one about the ever growing expectancy about bale and wether he will leave or not, if we don't qualify for cl then yes I hink he will go but I think he would go abroad, he is a quality guy and not a mercanary he cares about spurs but who are we to stand in his way, can't see him turning out for either manchester clubs or chelski and as for the other persons not too far away what would be the point, but I would urge levy play hard ball with the suitors, if its true that over the next few weeks we get the green light and some serious movement on the new stadium (which levy must know has to happen) put a clause in the contract that after one season if he was home sick we would get first option to buy him back at a fixed price, just a thought, nobody wants to lose gareth so let him know we as a club would welcome him back with open arms, but I think if we qualify this season for cl he will stay he was born to play for spurs and am sure he would love to play for the spurs in cl

This is a good idea but let's all remember one thing, Bale does love Spurs and he is on a LONG TERM CONTRACT so why do we have to sell him?
He is not like the foreign mercenaries coming into this country, like Ade, so would find it difficult to try to force a move and we need him to attract other top players. So providing for once old tight arse Levy thought about the club, rather than the pocket, he will still be with us next season!

If bale does leave in the Summer, what are the chances of Levy investing any of the 50-60m being quoted back into the team or do you think he will just pocket it like he did with every other sale?

It's not like he's paying for the new stadium we all have heard about or paying outstanding debts with that money. That would just be stupid, better we throw money at overatted players than try to invest in stability of our beloved club. When will levy learn?

have you heard wengers interview the guy has lost it he said "why are you looking at me" to a journo who replied " because its your press conference" wenger then said to a question about the fa cup that he wanted only to talk about tha champs league match, so when asked about the quality of bayerns defence etc wenger replied i" I don't know about bayern and I don't want to talk about them today" ha ha not his best outing I would say. cheeers gooners keep up the good work fot our sake
