This is a Hibs just thought I would say thanks for destroying hearts tonight it was very enjoyable, certain made plenty of friends on the green side of Edinburgh.

Quick note to Hibs - option a) getting into Europe, getting a glamour tie, seeing a team like Spurs who were a pleasure to watch and a new set of fans who were great fun, a big pay day, etc. etc or b) sitting at home in your Pyjamas getting excited about watching somebody else's team getting beat. In short - jealous little brother syndrome that leads to things like seeking out a Spurs fan site and posting nonsense like this. Zzzzzz.

I know hearts are not much competition but I thought we looked absolute quality, passing, movement and finishing all top drawer. I think we are stronger than last year already with walker coming back and friedel signing. 1 or 2 more in and we are sorted. What were we worried about?

Guys chill out. If you actually read what is being said Harry is saying that 'IF' we do end up selling Modric he wants it to happen sooner rather than so he has time to get in the replacements, unlike what happened with Berba when we got screwed last minute.

Thing is, Levy has said he is NOT for sale so either he is NOT for sale or he "might" be for sale,so whats it to be? The joke? Harry talked about IF he was sold he would be able to bring in 3 or 4 players What? For 30 million he can buy more than two players who could make the side better? Unfortunately we have been waiting since last season All our supporters know what we need , so why the hell doesnt the people in charge ?? As the poster said , Sell the crap , dont worry about what we get for them , and buy us a forward . Or do we wait again until we are so far behind in the league , and Ruiz signs for Fulham .

Harry He's-a-Prat recons we don't need Ruiz as we don't need strengthening in that area?? Now I'm a huge Harry fan (or was), but this really is just taking the Michael.

So where are all the people that said
modric was staying today?
I was mocked for saying that he would leave and Levy was merely playing the Berbatov game to get the price higher.
Its actually not as smart as it appears as we still have to get the players on board ourselves.
Anything around £30m is good business IF we can get the players in for the right price.
A stronger 'squad' might just give us a real shout for 4th particularly given the Goons current problems.

Your having a laugh If this current squad was so good , we would be playing CL again this year , wouldnt be trying to sell half of them , and wouldnt be panicking about buying in players Lets face it , in the squad of 25 we might have about 15 players in total that were worth keeping .

Game on gentlemen. And welcome to Gorgie - sunny westside Edinburgh. Palm trees. Coffee shops. Boutiques. And a little place called Tynecastle nestling in amongst the continental boulevards, full of friendly, welcoming, rosey-cheeked young scamps eager to make new friends and expand their knowledge of other cultures.

But beyond all that - there's a game of football to be had.

Only chance we have - and you'll see it tonight - is we play on a very tight park, we pack the midfield with aggression and you might find your flare players don't end up wanting the ball. The fans are literally touching distance from the sidelines and it will be bedlam tonight. Might be the sort of game it's over before it starts and we've nicked a goal somewhere in the melee.

Anyway - can't wait and in all seriousness really looking forward to seeing you guys in action and both legs - regardless of outcome. Just hope we don't get embarressed but I think the fans will demand every ounce and it can be hard to beat a well drilled, motivated team no matter what the gulf in class. Possibly harder down at WHL.

In terms of motivation - you might be interested to know this is being referred to up here as possibly one of the biggest European nights in our history. I know that speaks volumes about our history - but it also tells you you're going to get a game tonight.

Wtf just came on here to say that kane scored in a 2-2 against basel in the nextgen tournament. Coulibaly played but didnt score. Next match is august 31st against inter milan at brisbane road and maybe a great chance to see kane and coulibaly although im hoping kane at least gets a chance with the first team, he is prolific.
