Bobby box I hear u. Unfortunately us fans want success and pay for it but levy wants a bank balance that's why we will always float mid table until he leaves.
We should report him to trading standard for wrongly selling our club to us. To do is to dare is our slogan.
Well I dare him to do the business then. practice whAt u want to preach to million of fans world wide

I think you mean we was floating around as a mid table team before he arrived Mr g, as since he's been in control of our club we've been a top 6 club! Report him to trading standards, do you think about what you write?

Yeah more of the same mindless nonsense aimed at the board. Yes they can be infuriating at times, but since ENIC took over we have been a lot better.

It's pretty easy to look at our league finishes since the PL started, and it's pretty easy to find out when ENIC took over. So it really doesn't take much to work out how much of an improvement there has been. Twice in the PL Sugar era relegation was a realistic prospect. When was the last time we had to worry about that? How many times in the PL Sugar era did we qualify for Europe?

Be careful what you wish for.

the reason I am anti levy and the spurs board is they have done nothing right all the managers they have hired were rubbish only redknapp was good 2 top 4 finishes and they sacked him they then hire football directors and they have been shocking he has been promising a new stadium for 6 years still haven't been built arsenal built theirs within 4 years and now they have blown all bales money on rubbish I believe if everton or newcastle had the money we had they would be fighting for the title the club is a joke

A daily poster and reader on here. I'm our own way we are all saying the same thing we the fans can see it but the suits at the lane can. no quality side need a peer house in midfield it's all about keep possession. B Rodgers is a great believer of this when he was at Swansea now with better players at Liverpool look what he has done so far. I think we missed a boat there.
The amount of money we have spent on managers and dof in the last 5 years including sacking them is a joke a fee if love to know if guess it's around 30 mil. Levy loves wasting money on that and things like the Olympic stadium bit instead of paying that extra 2-3 million on our first choice signings

Results against top 4 teams (assuming a 2-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield):-
Played 8
Won. 0
Drew. 1
Lost. 7
Goals for. 2
Goals against 24
Points. 1
This is a shocking statistic and makes one wonder why we were deluding ourselves with top 4 qualification. I believe our defence is our first priority. Has anyone noticed that big Jan is only a shadow of himself recently? Hugo is a bit of a loose cannon. He was lucky on a few occasions not to be sent off. Would much sooner a top class "Traditional " type keeper. I say let Jan and Hugo leave particularly if we make a profit on them.

Yep, tragic given we'd very slowly started to turn that around in recent years. Last year it was 4pts from United, 3 from City, 3 from and 1 off Chelsea. Add that extra 10pts on and taking them from the equivalent 4 sides this year (swapping Liverpool for United) would have us 2nd!
Say what you want about AVB and i'm not a a fan but, got to face up to the fact he did that. Yes with Bale but had just lost Ledley, Modric and Rafa.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trouble was, Bale papered over so many cracks for us! If the investment had been made then, we could have seen the difference!
Seen a lot of comments saying we should stick with TS like Liverpool did with Rodgers . There is a major difference here though . Rodgers had experience, and seems to be able to man manage his players, TS can't .

Agree0 Disagree0

Had the same investment issue for 2 Januarys as well recently when we were bang in the mix, another goal scorer (even temporary for not much money) could've given us the extra 1-2pts we needed.
Martinez was the one that got away, not Rodgers. He has inherited one of the world's top 4-5 players, an inspirational captain and still spent plenty of money. Fair play it's coming together this year but, that's without an extra 10 games on Thursdays in the Euflopa League, off out to deepest darkest Eastern Europe then playing away on a Sunday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with you Simmo, have always rated Martinez, destined to go to one of the top Spanish clubs though!

Of course it's harping on about the past and it's long gone now but, what's so apparent from watching us now is the way the players are uncomfortable taking possession and when they have it they are afraid of it, not helped by the lack of options or movement around them.

We all used to laugh at Parker passing it 5yds square 95% of the time but, now we have a whole team doing it all over the park. The other difference was that he gave it to Modric or Rafa or Lennon (in form) or Bale. All players who weren't afraid of having the ball in any area. To say we miss Bale is fair, a world beater on his day but, not having players as technically gifted as Modric and Rafa is killing us. You cold give Luka the ball anywhere on the pitch and he'd control it, keep it and then use it well almost every time. Dembele is as close as we have to that now but is a poor man's Modric by a long way and never as consistent.

If you don't have those kind of players then you at least have to have a system with purpose and intent, we do not have that whatsoever. The result is abject 'attacking' and getting caught out conceding sloppy goals constantly.

4-4-2 gets you opened up against most sides (especially with our players) but, I have to say, the way we're playing now we might as well go for it and go down in flames as opposed to the slow-death of each game.

i agree with most posts on here a spirited performance can not paper over the cracks we are totally inept in an attacking force we don't look like scoring the chadli chance summed it up for me, adey bust a gut to get something some kind of spark but there was nothing time and time again, townsend putting kaboul through on three occasions down the channel were the hell was naughton, bentaleb gives us nothing either defensively or in an attacking role god alone knows what sherwood sees in him but its obviously something because he refuses to bring him off . we had two full backs booked in the first half then refused to attack them is it just me or couldn't have tim put townsend on his natural side to run and take on sagna to force him into challenges that may have resulted in a second yellow or the chance that he may dare not tackle at all, once again we had the usual shake of the head from vertongen I really think this guy believes he is better than he is, sherwood with his emotion is not only talking himself out of this job but any job, and I agree whole heartedly with a previous post when does levy stnd up to be counted we were on the verge of something special 18 months ago now we are a laughing stock again, I have supported spurs for over 40 years and never seen such a laklustre bunch in my life, coys forever

I did not think AVB was the right man but, Levy did and should've stuck by his man for this season - it has been proved sacking him when we did was stupid, just like on the pitch; no plan B!

Today; effort, possession, dominance of sorts, blah blah blah.we lost as usual. That was the worst @R$3nal performance at WHL in years and years and still they mug us. We give away counter attack chances easily with a sloppy high-line, usually exposed by sloppy and/or casual moments in front of them. They created absolutely nothing but still might have scored 2-3 comfortably.

Totally inept, we could still be out there now and not have scored. Adebayor did all he could in fairness but nobody else was going to notch or create anything decent whatsoever. Woeful is the word, it's not unlucky, it's not one of those things, it's Spurs all over.

Ironically, we cannot create a thing for ourselves yet manage to constantly create goals for the opposition out of nothing!
