I see that Man U got RVP bing, bam ,bam. Announced and done. But we just keep dragging on and on and on; then nothing ever happens. What's wrong with this picture?? Everything DL does takes forever and then never happens at all. Season opens tomorrow and we don't have a legitimate strike force other than Defoe. If he goes down, we're toast. I would tell Ade to go bugger off into the jungle and kick a few coconuts around.
Spend the money and get a decent striker or two for the long term.

Because most clubs see the bigger picture. They see the players they need and get them. Potentially, levy's p.ssin around could and prob will cost us points. Tomoro's game, we could of gone into that with modric well gone, 2 top strikers a gk and a midfielder.
What worries me is he had his chance to make us 'a prem great' in January, he is doing the same thing again.
His penny pinching is costing us big time. It is putting us back into a top mid table team again.

My opinion is that Moutinho and a Striker are on their way. Why else would AVB tell the press that we've been "out-priced" if it wasn't to keep other clubs from starting a bidding war? If we couldn't afford him then AVB would surely just keep quiet about it.

I also don't think we will need to sign 2 strikers as I believe GDS will get a chance to play this season.

I really want to see gio play just to see what he can do for us, always plays well for Mexico!

I guess judging by VDV being the new number 10 he is our other striker lmao so that tells me we wont be signing a striker any time soon...

Number 9 is free so will be at least 1 striker coming in prob ade.

Now, was Glenn Hoddle a striker??

Wilshere is arsenals number 10, is he a striker now too?

Getting nervous about the Newcastel match. Only Defoe or Kane up front & having nightmares about AVB playing a high line with Dawson & Vertonghen !

Consider that we play 4-5-1 with Bale upfront supported by Siggi, Sandro, VDV, THud/Livermore, GDS/Lennon and it is not so worrying

Southampton have bid accepted for Gaston Rameriz of 11.5 now if they can offer better wages to a quality player than we can some thing not right.Levy stop taking the mick out of players with crap wage offers if we get outdone by Southampton u are making us look a complete joke stop looking for cheap options n prove you want this club to challenge for honours {Ed001's Note - they are only paying him 30k a week, so it wasn't a wage issue, it was the transfer fee that Spurs wouldn't pay.}

Was reading on other sites that fee accepted by club but Rameriz was unhappy with Levys wage offer even if this is not right we should not be getting out bid by Southampton for a quality player who would be a good signing for us Levys penny pinching and cheap average player options will make us a mid table team again

Someone somewhere saw something they didn't like about his prospects in the EPL we weren't the only team that didn't pursue him.

AVB says he has no interest in m'vila due to him being defensive minded and he is looking for a creative midfielder. He has also said he won't be going for moutinho, so where does that leave us? Personally I can't see any "superstar" signings but we obviously need some goals in the form of a target man. Being realistic I think the best we can hope for is ade. Not what we all want I know but I just can't see Hulk, leandro, llorente etc. also why not take a punt on Dempsey who seems to want a move, attacking midfielder/forward who knows where the net is??

Sky Sports reports Southampton have agreed a club record deal with Bologna for Uruguay ace Gaston Ramirez. How many more targets are we going to miss out on. I mean we got out gunned by Southampton? Come on Levy move yer arse!
