I'm just wondering if Avb can get the same out of gio as Harry go out of bale.He is young and plays in a 433 for Mexico as always looks a class act for them. I'd say give him this season, we might get something special out of him besides his transfer fee wouldn't be that great and could be like a new signing under Avb and his new tactics

The way AVB has spoken about VDV I would be inclined to think that once modric is sold VDV will replace as the teams primary playmaker. Sandro, Parker, Huddlestone, Sigurdsson, VDV, Livermore and even Jenas can play in the midfield 3. Perhaps the Modric money would be better spent on a young, world class keeper and some goals in the front 3.
Im inclined to agree with the VDV role. Lets face it, despite being put into positions on the pitch, he still ended up all over the place. Giving him the same kind of role as Modric with permission to go anywhere he wanted on the pitch would get the best out of him. Just my opinion....

Instead of sturridge how about Adam johnson, he was benched last season and probably would fit in well with our attacking team {Ed008's Note - Good point!

W have signed him. He is in our squad. A tribunal will probably set a fee unless we can agree one with Utd, but as they are demanding a ridiculous figure (some reporting up to £6m for a unproven youngster who only has a handful of first team appearances - it would be like us asking £6m for Harry Kane) it looks like a tribunal it will be. Simlar to the Bostock situation. Expect a fee to be in the region of £500,000 - £1m.

Just curious but what would you fans think of replacing modric with joe Allen as this guy is something special. In my opinion he is the most under rated player in the premier league and is very similar to iniesta.
