Destro rumours seem to be back but apparently the price tag is £20mil as much as I want to see a new striker at the lane this seems like quite a lot for a reasonably unproven striker.
Has bundles of energy and potential but comes with serious risks re injuries and the fact he is a bit of a nutter!

But Davo these things do end up spilling over onto the terraces. To many people will never be happy regardless of how well we're doing.
I gripe on here a lot but never take it to the ground, its a bit of a release! You will never please everyone so surely it's better for fans to let of steam here . We all know that Levy is an astute business man but he knows f all about football and more important, be a fanatical supporter . Certain fans will like what he has done, others won't . But in the end we all want what's best for our club, however we go about it . So there is an easy answer, the Eds have provided the platform, use it . If you don't like what's being said, put your point out there or don't read the pages!

I never suggested you directly take it to the stands. The way your opinion influences others most definitely could.
He knows f all whereas you know everything so atleast that gives you the right to criticise. I'm sorry but as you get older you should become wise enough not to be a fanatical supporter. For example, if you dislike the way they spend the money then don't spend your money on shirts, games or merchandise. No need to moan just make a mature decision.
So you think the ed's decided on a site like this so they could hear thousands of fans moaning? Interesting theory.
I'm now the second person that you've suggested shouldn't read the pages, in the same discussion I might add. Maybe if you can't handle other people's opinions maybe you should take your own advice.

Spurs1985 its a banter page not a how great is Daniel Levy page. Like Davo said Levy is a businessman and not a football man. You might happily accept that but there are others that dont. Why should you be the judge of what Spurs fans should be happy with. Three seasons ago we were a 20mil striker away from a title challenge now we should just be happy with 6th. Your as ambitious as Levy.
Lucas I agree with you to a point. But do you really believe we could have kept up with City, Chelsea and now Arsenal in transfer spending. Even United are finally having to resort to buying big to stay in contention.
The game has changed and we are hampered by the size of ourr stadium, until that is resolved we will struggle financially to compete with thee top 4 consistently.
After reading some of these comments you all have valid points, But reading Lampardo1's comments he's a spurs fan isn't he or have I missed something.
Yellow Card your 100% right, We cannot compete with the likes of City, Chelsea, etc, we missed the final push like Lucas said we was 1 big signing possible 2 signings away from maybe getting into the CL places. But that's gone now so let's get behind the club, I personally think Levy has done great it was AVB who lost the grip, He bought all them players, I'm not having he was told by Levy your having these players now make it work. As I believe Pike said the other day, the only player I know of that Levy went & got the last minute was VDV & to be fair he played class if it was only for 70 minutes a game.
Lets hope we hit the ground running today.

Again Levy isn't a bad as people say. You can't run the club into the ground, we have progressed as a club albeit lately we've stalled but we're still up there. I personally think 5th / 6th & build again from there. The biggest question is wether the new manger is given time. As if he gets sacked this year, then Levy needs to look at himself.

Also, I might pay for my season ticket but I won't line Levy and Lewis's pockets by paying for over priced shirts and merchandise!

YellowCard it is hard now but it could of been a lot easier as DrTHFC said that boat has now sailed. This has to be on Levys head. If Levy backs Mopo 100% I have no problem with him, but he has to change his ways. Mopo needs time but also full control of transfer in and outs. This means biting the bullet on players like Dawson and Naughton, who is going to pay £6mil each for them, just get rid. Todays the day let's see how it goes. Mopo no Andros!

Levy's 10 managers in not many more years than that speaks for itself on the football side surely?
Add to that our world class players have all been sold for a top price again is good business but, has been detrimental to our football.
