I have missed you all so much that I thought I would come back during our hour of need. Clearly we are suffering at the hands of miserly transfer dealings. Selling Pavluchenko, Palacios, Keane, Crouch, O'Hara, Hutton, Woodgate, Dervitte & Pletikosa. Then loaning out Corluka, Bassong, Pienaar, Jenas, Bentley, Caulker, Naughton, Falque, Ceballos, Townsend, Bostock, Carroll, Parrett, Obika & Kane.

So who did we bring in again Adebayor on loan, Saha, Nelson, Freidel & Parker. Few can doubt the impact these 5 have made and Coulibally in the reserves, but hardly spent a penny with so much revenue generated through sales and loans out. It is clear we have also been lucky with Freidel and Parker, Nelson & Saha who have been relatively injury free for their age bracket. The issue is we gave striped depth out of the squad and broadly stuck with the same group of 11-13 players all season. This has created fatigue and in addition we have believed King could defy physics forever which was clearly just a dream.

So what about 2011/12, with the FA Cup looking a real possibility and 4th place our position to lose with easier games than the challenging pack. We should all stop for a moment and smile at how well we gave done. Winning the FA Cup and securing top 4 would be superb, and even 3rd is not impossible. However falling to Chelsea or worse still Liverpool or Everton at Wembley would be horrible. Then failure to reach top 4 could turn our efforts to disaster. I feel we will win the FA Cup and secure 4th so remain optimistic.

This summer will interesting if we achieve what we deserve. The question is who needs to go and who do we need to challenge the European elite. I believe Gomes, Bassong, Corluka, King, Gallas, Nelson, Jenas, Pienaar, Bentley, Krancjar, Modric (£50m+), Saha & Adebayor all need to go. We need to rebuild our ageing squad and cash in on the excellent but not brilliant Modric. Players we could sign to make the difference include; Vorm, Vertonghen, Subotic, Taiwo, Santon, Tiote, Hazard, Robben, Huntelaar and Damiao. In addition I would love to see Caulker, Naughton and Coulibally join the squad proper. With the revenues of Champions League + £50m For Modric + The £38m Levy has banked from sales + the player sales above, the acquisition of top targets should be reasonable.

The future looks great and with a little luck and some solid support we can achieve success this year. So be positive, stay loyal and supportive and soon you will see our glory days return.

Oh god the Oracle has returned. Not been seen since last transfer window where it all went wrong for his predictions. Now a new window is approaching and he returns.

Why on earth would we sell Luka Modric.

Haha 50mil for Modric? Joker

So although we have walker and assou ekotto, and you want naughton to come up to challenge for the first team, you still reckon we should be buying both santon AND taiwo?

Welcome back Oracle. Ive not always agreed with all your posts but I do respect your view and looked forward to what you say.

You think we need tiote when we have Parker, and sandro, and Livermore? By the way, unless the club is in like administration, you wouldn't ever see that much transfer dealing in one window. Finally, you would have us sell all of those fringe players, when one of the main reasons why we are so poor at the moment is because our main squad is burnt out. If we did all of that we would have even less depth than before!

You won the league in black and white

Hi Guys
I
posted on here a while ago just before the Man United game about how I'm a United supporter but my Dad who died recently was a big Spurs fan.I'd jut liketo say that I really want spurs to win tomorrow as I know it would mean a lot to him.He would have been on the phone by now telling me what the score will be and who Harry should sign and get rid of.Ideally I would like a Spurs-Everton final.Anyway all the best for tomorrow and if it helps my Dad will be up there kicking every bal for you.
