After the recent troubles at Highbury, the Spurs board are concerned the North London Derby is becoming too predictable. Daniel Levy wants to give Arsenal more of a chance and therefore is looking to build a Derby squad. It is rumoured Chimbonda, Iversen, Routledge, Etherington, Gardner, Bunjecevic, Pletikosa, Gudjohnson, Woodgate (including crutches), Rasiak and Malbranque will all sign in January. They will spend their time mowing the pitch, painting the lines and helping out around the stadium, their total wage bill will be £5k per week.

Early signs are positive that Levy has achieved some parity through his equalisation plans. Betfred, Paddy Power and Ladbrokes have all moved their prices to make Arsenal joint favourites at home to Spurs new Derby squad.
