Ok I will admit sandro would be better than parker..sandro is quality so is parker so good position to be in.

How about against the really tough sides away
Middle three of Parker sandro and Dembele ?
As sandro is looking decent across the whole pitch now and an absolute beast at breaking play .... Dembele can break play and is immense going forward .... And Parker is just a pure destroyer .... That middle three with their work rate and dedication movement and intelligence .... Would absolutely destroy any and all midfield

Im all for giving AVB 'time' but he seams to be making the same mistakes every game now. Friedel has been a great signing for the club but why pay £12m for a international goalkeeper who captains his country and dosent play him? I know we are missing Kaboul and Assou-Ekotto at the minute but would like to think that once they were fit would be played along side Walker and Vertonghen. Again in midfield once Dembele is available he will be a certain starter, Huddlestone is good cover but brings more quality and pace to the team. Sandro sitting and Bale and Lennon out wide, with Adebayor and Defoe up front would give us balance to the team. Dempsey and Siguardsson both still finding there feet at the club, I just hope AVB relises that sitting on a lead with 20 minutes to go dosent work, neither does bringing Livermore on.

I wanna give every a different approach to AVB...

I DO understand what he is trying to do but I can't understand the timing of it.

Let me explain..

Last season. We leaked goals everywhere. Our formation and playing style under Harry was so aggressive and attacking we were often caught out. BUT it didn't show that much because we were scoring so many goals. Meaning we won most games, however we did concede an awful lot of silly goals and counter attacking football.

Now this season, I can see AVB trying to stop that by fielding a stronger defensive outfit. BUT you can only do that when you have all your players fit. We have some of our best defensive players out at the moment....Kaboul, BAE, Parker etc. Plus the loss of Ledley King. Walker has lost his form. And Gallas is too old. The only bright sparks I've seen this season so far is the link up between Vertonghen and Bale...and with Caulker, who I can see being a future England captain. I think he's that good.

The goalkeeping fiasco isn't helping us out as well. Either he needs to play Friedel and make the message VERY CLEAR to Lloris that he will get his chance next season, as I think Friedel will hang his gloves up after this campaign. OR he stops flirting with Lloris and giving him subtle hints that he'll play him more often, and not doing so. It simply isn't fair on the lad. And may I remind you he is one of the best in the world. I only rank him under Neuer and Hart.

Now if we had all these players fit and playing, then I think this style of football would be a lot better suited to us as we would have the players to adapt and respond to that formation and playing style.

HOWEVER. We do not. We still have some very good players on the field. But not our best. I think once our injury list clears and we get players playing regularly again. Then I think AVB's fortunes will change. And if he invests heavily in attacking options in January then we will see us setting up and scoring more goals.

Please people. Give him more time. He is a lot better than our current record shows.

He is just playing the wrong system with the wrong players at this moment in time. And yes, it is costing us points. But once the squad is complete and players are back fit then we'll start winning a hell of a lot of games.

I trust AVB. He just needs to tweak his tactics a bit to adapt to the players we have on the field, not to "force" them into an unknown way of playing.

Even when we had a fully fit squad, apart from Parker, he persisted with changing for the last quarter, just too defend.
All season it hadn't worked, he will keep doing it. We will keep leaking late goals, then with him removing a forward style player, we are stuffed.

I hear and understand what you are saying as will most spurs fans.
However IMO what you are saying is somewhat floored, because if AVB is as good as you believe him to be he would realise what you are pointing out and change the system, but he hasn't and this points to him being stubborn, pig headed and ignorant and not up to the job of managing a team like Spurs. I understand we have injuries and players not playing well, but a good manager would pick a formation to fit the players available not try to make round pegs fit square holes, and you have to ask if the players not playing as well as they have done in the past is it because AVB is over complicating things.
I was a massive supporter of AVBs appointment in the beginning but over the past 4 months I think he has proved as he did at chavski he isn't up to managing a premier league team.

Just my opinion though.

We have given too many sh1t managers time.A sugar Daddy is what was needed.Levy can't see that you now need to spend big to achieve trophies.He wont do it and always goes for second best.

We will always have injury probs.It's just that we don't have the back up we need,again thanks to Levy.
