If we had beaten Burnley and AVilla we would be two points behind City and playing them at the Lane! Taking one point from home to Villa and away to Burnley is pathetic and not worth further comment. It was exactly the same at end of last season, we were drawing and losing to mediocre teams. There is a lack of professionalism and managerial guidance in this. We need the killer instinct in every match ( like United had under Ferguson). I for one hope we miss out on Europe. It is a Mickey Mouse competition and we do not appear able to cope with playing on Thursday and Sunday. Hopefully we will clear out the dead wood, get a tough tackling ( leader type) centre half, a striker and maybe a mature proven midfielder ( Morgan Sneiderlen) and concentrate fully on the top four with no distractions, but when I dream, I should be in bed!

fully agree with you pauli. its not only bad taking 1 point from 6 against 2 relegation teams its the way we played aswell. we had 9 shots on goal in the 2 games says it all. I hope southampton get in the top 4 they really deserve it

Mopo tinkering giving fringe players a game putting them in shop window he's obviously thinking of next season dropping down league no Europa league, wouldn't be surprised if we end up tenth. This seasons over mass clear out some players in new start.

I'd call chirches, dembelle, adebyour, fazio , strambouli, Townsend , soldado , lamela, Lennon , capoue, feel sorry for soldado ain't worked out and lennon not liked right flank stronger with him , anyway would call the list above real and an exodus of sorts you could add walker lloris both will probably leave and vertonghen , yeah seriously a mass clear out unless you can tell me who above is worth keeping and will stay .

Bobby box, on your theory above, that would mean we would require yet another transition season. Seriously, do you really think a complete clear out is what is best for our club?

We need stability with a few 'minor' changes!

Yea I agree that Ade should go and be replaced, but your stating 7/8 players. How do you think that would affect the team!!

I agree with you Northeast, but the problem is none of them contribute anything on the pitch, what should we do, keep them and watch the team continue to struggle playing the way MoPo wants.

I don't claim to know the answer, but MoPo has been here 2 windows already and the squad has not been improved significantly.

Or we seriously go for a 2 team structure in the squad and let the second tier players and youngsters enjoy Thrusday nights, keeping the first team at home and rested.
