Get ready for one of the most important days in Spurs history. I cannot see Fulham posing any threat to us at home without Dempsey and Etuhu. I feel this game is an absolute banker, and therefore we are relying on either West Brom and Bayern Munich to do their job. I feel Hodgson could get the emotional performance to cap his superb run at The Hawthorns, and on paper you have to say Bayern Munich look very strong. I feel we will deliver on the big day, and pray Hodgson can hold Arsenal to a draw. So are we likely to be in the Champions League next season, well to be honest mathematically speaking we are favourites as both Arsenal and Chelsea have to win, and the odds for that double provided we do our job is 5/2.

If we fail to secure our position then as I said before expect a mass clearance including most probably Bale and Modric. However should we achieve what looks likely then expect Vertonghen, Damiao & Hazard to quickly join the ranks. So everyone get behind the players and the manager for the entire match, and ensure that we as fans have done our bit. Even if things look bleak or bad on the day keep the positive mental belief that we will prevail, and I am sure we will be rejoicing come the final whistle.

The Oracle

Haha, yeah because everyone will would choose Spurs to join over the other top clubs. Such a "big club" with such a "big" stadium. Haha

Agree0 Disagree1

I hope your right Mr Oracle, I really do. I've been on here many times saying that we'd finish above the woolwich wanderers and I still believe that. But if I am wrong, at least Chelski will be missing a large chunk of there team for the CL final. Now I know that Bayern will be missing there normal central defensive pairing, but in there own back yard I just cannot see Chelski winning. In otherwords, let's all cheer on Everton tomorrow and CL here we come (fingers crossed)

I'm sorry Oracle but I really do not see Hazard coming to Spurs.

Vertonghen looks almost done (great buy if it is)

Dimiao i'm hoping will be done.

Hazard just unrealistic. He could easily walk into Man U, Bayern, Juve, AC, Chelsea, Inter and they will pay what the club wants AND offer a massive wage.

Himand Goetze are probably the most brightest prospect in Europe at the moment, and strongly think one of those teams above, will get him this summer.

With Rose and BAE out, what are people's thoughts on the line up for sunday? Harry said they have 'a few ideas', so i wonder whether there is any chance he will risk playing 3 at the back like we did at stoke, with bale and walker as wing backs; modric, sandro, vdv in the middle and ade and defoe up top. Saying that, Gallas will probably end up at left back with nelsen in the middle, and defoe not getting a look in.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jol usually goes quite defensive away. I expect that in this game too, maybe playing a 4-4-1-1

I think Harry will go for a 4-4-2.

Bale at LB and just get him to bomb up and down.

Sandro/Parker and Modric in the middle.

VDV on the left "cutting in" as he use to do and just free roaming.

Walker RB like Dani Alves

Lennon doing his thing on RW

Ade and Defoe up front.

Play Adam smith at LB watched him when he was on loan at MK Dons and he was really good.

Ain't Adam smith been out on Loan? to big a game to risk him in. When was the last time Arry played 4-4-2, expect 4-4-1-1. Team i would like to see ,

Friedal GK,
Gallas LB, Kaboul CB, King/Nelson CB, Walker RB, Lennon RW, Modric CM, Sandro CM, Bale LW, VDV deep lying CF, Ade CF.

Parker is likely to be injured for this game.

Think Arry will play Bale at LB and Modric LW, with Sandro and Livermore CM which could prove costly. What ever the team get behind the boys be the 12th man and get the result we need and let the assnal, geordies and Chelski (CL final) worry about themselves.

Adam Smith was loaned to Leeds in the January transfer market, but was recalled on 7th April due to injuries and other loaned out players not being able to be recalled (Caulker, Charlie, Bassong etc).

Smith is a good prospect for the future, but (IMO) is nowhere near a starting place in such an important game. If this game had nothing riding on it then sure - but with so much at stake tomorrow - no way.

Sell Bale and buy james McLean from Sunderland the lad is only 22 and quality, will be a player to watch at the euros for ireland.
Has over ten goals from the left wing playing as an out and out winger and only got in the team when Martin O'Neill took over in Nov/Dec.
Dribbler, skillful, old fashioned type, can header, quality crosses huge confidence levels not afraid to have a go,just runs and runs loads of energy.A full backs nightmare.

I also like jack Colback off them too very tidy central midfielder on 20 I think, ginger lad likened to scholes

Believable2 Unbelievable0

In all honesty your more likely to be watching bale on the bench for Ireland & might get 10mins at end of game if he is lucky. Trapatonni will stick with team that got Eire to euros, midfield will be duff whelan Andrews mcgeady u can put your life savings on it. Mcarthy & coleman never got a real chance under trap, he wants players he trusts & know the system.
I do rate Mclean though he's a good workrate, There's a young lad playing in league of Ireland at moment playing for Monaghan Utd Owen Humphreys It's his first ever yr with a club although he did spend time at belvedere but had some trouble & was showing the door but he was only about 14 at the time. He's a reap street footballer plays off the cuff bag of tricks & great dribbler the ball is glued to his foot, He's only played 7 first team games 3 starts but its only matter of time b4 English clubs look at him & it could b a case of Mclean who when this kid makes it.

Agree0 Disagree2

Thing is he will make a great impact player when the opposition full back is tired, all he needs is 1 game and he will get and keep a starting place For ireland Mclean that is.

Agree1 Disagree0

The thing is Trapatonni doesn't operate like that, Mclean could come on & change a game & more than likely would be back on bench for next game.
Seamus Coleman came in one game & done great next game he picked Paul McShane at rb ahead of him, the samething another sub appearance done well & liam lawrence got picked ahead of him, Shame long had the same treatment, Trap is a strange one he rates Paul green ahead of Keith fahey, it's all about the system & not giving anything away rather than what someone can do on the ball, so he relies on players who are well drilled in his ways so as much as I'd like Mclean to get in team he's more likely to have stephen Hunt ahead of him in pecking order.
Experience is everything with Trapatonni & it ain't pretty to watch but it has worked in qualifying.
Espur

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with you mate but I am just saying although he would find it hard to get a starting place,he will be great as a impact sub when the fullback is tired coming on for the last 10/20 minutes.
