Fitted a suit for a man today claimed he was an agent anyway I pushed him for some gossip. He claimed not to be involved in the deal but heard whispers that snjider wants tottenham deal badly. Gala is smoke he says but get this part only deal levy will do is a straight swap for Dempsey and want to subsidise deal with upfront cash like Ady on his wages. Could be bull dunno but that's wat he said. I admit I was suspect but it does have a levy ring to it and I think Dempsey would suit inter. Wat does everyone think of that.
Anyway his suit will be ready next week I will tell him your reactions

Guys, let's look at this logically - often that is something quite hard for us Spurs fans when the transfer windows are open as we get linked with all and sundry - but there's a reason why Inter are looking to move Wesley on. Basically it's that his form has dropped dramatically and he is not justifying his sky high wages. What makes everyone think that he will suddenly up his game if he was to arrive at the Lane, given that he isn't match fit and hasn't played in over 3 months? Yes, the pedigree is there, but his form has dipped since Mourinho was steering the Inter ship, and that's a good couple of seasons now. Do we really want to take an expensive gamble on a player showing diminishing returns? IMO, if we're going to spend this sort of money, let's go all out and secure Moutinho....

Go on AVB, go on son.
'extremely likely that we going to sign him' on Damiao of course.

He actually said it was highly unlikely we would sign a striker to cover adebayor, he made no mention of Damiao but did say he was extremely happy with the team he's got. Wycombe spur.

Extremely UN-likely. What a difference two letters make. It wouldn't make sense for any manager to speculate on the likelihood of signing any new player prior to a done deal and totally out of character for AVB (LFC/B.Rodgers maybe).

Think we should just face facts Damiao just doesn't want to play for us! 3 windows we have tried to sign him and got no where. We should give up and move on to players who would want to play here Negredo, Huntelaar, maybe even Lewendowski? And stop wasting time with Damiao.

Just opinion here not dealing in facts like "oracle" pmsl
Damiao, we have chased him for 3 seasons and always been stated he will join this window, now this window and once again this windowing my opinion he won't ever join spurs, probably inter,
Moutinho, possible but if holtby is good and ready now why would we sign both ? With dembele, sig, Parker, sandro, hudd, Livermore - can only see this happening if what it seems the latter 2 leave

Not sure anyone other than the O has said he would join ...most times it seems we haven't even put an offer in and the rumors from his side have always been consistent he wants to stay. I'm sure for the right payday he would leave but I'm even more sure that Levy will not over pay for him

Damiao has personally cam out to say this following Tottenham's prolonged interest:
"For now, I assure I'll stay. There is no offer, no negotiation. But I can't say I'll stay if an offer happen."
Does this possibly connote he may be willing move if the right offer arrives?
Also, his club have came out and said no bid has been received for Damiao. While we cannot justify this fully, we can assume they are telling the truth.
Looks like Levy might be stretching it out towards the end of the window, if there is a chance of success.
