Jenas used to be one of our better players! He's not sh*te, but he hasn't had a chance to put a good run together due to injuries. Hey he's scored enough against le scum for me to give him a bit of an easy time

Livermore on one leg would be a hundred times better than Jenus. He has lived off that free tick for far to many years. Even when fit he isnt good enough for our reserves let along our first team.

Krasic reminds me of Steve mcmanaman light! He can dribble for days but he's a lazy gitt when he loses ball that's it won't bother to track back, harry will have his work cut out with him if he can get him to up his workrate he'd b worthwhile but if he stays the same hel flop.
I'd take Amauri on loan but would prefer matri but no chance of juve selling

Ekotto is good, but at time, you can end up with your heart in your mouth - he sometimes plays it around just a little too often near our area. However saying that he normally gets the ball out of trouble, and other than maybe Baines, there are no other PL left backs I'd rather have

I utterly agree.... he is so under rated as a footballer its rediculous ... a large % of people dont like him because he came out and told the truth about him playing football for money.... although i will also agree with sometimes he does make you a bit nervous...

Baines is great going forward & delivery of crosses is excellent but not convinced of him defensively his positioning isn't great & for amount of money he'd cost he's not worth it, I'd prefer someone seamus Coleman tbh cover for lennon & walker & he's a better crosser of ball than both sure he could cover at left back if needed,
I agree with ed008 about remy he's hit & miss & French LG is piss poor also agree about samba he may b a beast & is a more natural defender than vahill but whoever we sign has to b good with ball at feet I'd opt for Tasci stuttgart maicon porto or douglas twente,

The only problem with Ekotto is his reactions can be very slow. E.G last season when Nasri scored from that tight angle, Ekotto could have easily scuffed that away.
Saying that i do think hes a Great defender. Rose is perfectly capable in stepping in and doing a job is Benny gets injured plus, if we're really desperate we have Bale.

Agreed. also about the rose thing as backup. It was my first game at the lane in a long time against blackpool when rose played lb, and he was excellent. No worse defensively than kyle walker imo, better crosser than kyle as well.

Hes being linked with everyone, spurs, a**eholes, everton, fulham etc.
Only scored 13 goals in 27 games. Isn't that strong in the air. Has never played CL, or an international game. Think he could be over priced and don't think he'd be good enough to make the first team.
Watching what I can find of him on Internet he appears that he sits on the back 4 and poaches goals but I hope he does come and I get proven wrong. God knows we really need a striker or two and someone that can score 25-30 goals a season. We lost games and clear goals because of chances that were made and not finished.
Watching bayern tonight kinda brought back a slight touch of deja vu. Could almost have been spurs playing. Possession was dominated but no one could put the ball in the back of the net and it cost them the CL and also cost us our CL place.

Cahill no no, Samba hell no. Ssamba is possibly the most overated defender in the league, (bar cahill), i would rather sign someone as a long term replacement for King and Gallas, Collocini looks good for that or maybe even Subotic. Another posistion we need to strengthen is the left back posistion (Baines) and maybe signing a proven Goalscorer, (Hhiguain, heard Vila may be on the cheap)
But neither do Newcastle so same difference if they stay

However, I have seen No precontract paperwork for Leadro or indeed anyone else - at present, it's all offer and counter offer. We will attempt to buy Samba, this is being effected by our current defensive crisis and other clubs like Bolton, QPR who are pushing the price up - Levy won't pay too big a price for a man who, after all would not be the number 1 target - hence there are other offers and other targets.
As reported in todays Daily Mirror, Loic Remy negotiations are underway (as I reported yesterday) but it is by no means certain, hence other targets. I can only report what I see & hear, the rest is down to the negotiating skills of Mr Levy and whether a player wants to leave or whether another club is prepared to pay higher wages.......
PLEASE WAIT AND SEE, I WILL REPORT MORE IF I HEAR IT.
