Not normally some one who believes what he sees in the papers but was worried when I read this one this morning! I know we are in the bargain basement of the managers department but please tell Ed that there is no truth in the rumours that we are after Shane Long, the very same striker that can't even get into the West Brom team! Also Ed, why would we consider sending Lamela on loan to Italy or Spain? That won't get him used to the premier league, just bloody play him!

Actually ed you said a few times that Tottenham had made a mistake in signing Lamela but you didn't say why, just that you wouldn't say why as it could upset folks.

I ain't a betting man but would bet that he stays.

Shane Long is a very hard working young player who I personally feel is better than Defoe. I wouldn't mind having him at Spurs.

Anyone realised that all TV pundits apart from Redknapp and Hoddle hate spurs. They are always negative and don't know what they are talking about. They always play down good performances like yesterday against stoke. They have no respect what so ever for us and all they think is negative things. When we beat United at old trafford last season, they were amazed and then soon played down the fact that we played so unbelievably well. Obviously spurs have not been up to the standards the fans and chairman expect for the amount of money being injected into transfers who have then ended up being average. People were expecting big things, A title challenge even. Recent form has been good apart from the losses to West Ham in the cup, City and Liverpool. My point is to members of the media who hate spurs and to the other fans who have been so negative, 19 games played 34 points 7th in the league only behind 6th on goal difference. 8 points behind top spot and 3 points behind top 4 so calm down! we will win more games and big teams will drop points aswell

Thing Is Ed, why loan him? Sell him or play him, £30 million is a lot of money to be on loan!

{Ed002's Note - If there was a way to recover the money n January through a sale there is no doubt that the club would do it. I expect a loan in January and a sale in the summer.}

If they loan him he certainly won't be staying cause a loan back to Italy or where ever will not help him learn english and settle.
